We wanted an outdoor setting for our ceremony with the option for an indoor reception, and the Powissett Lodge couldn’t have been better! All of our friends commented about how it was so “us,” and it was gorgeous. The Hale staff were wonderful to work with, helping us through the whole process. Highly recommend! -

We decided to hold our wedding at Hale after cancelling our originally planned wedding due to the pandemic. There were so many event site options and Shannon and the whole Hale was so accommodating - even with balancing everchanging Covid guidelines - as we explored our options and ultimately got married at Hale in the spring of 2021.
Hale was a beautiful backdrop for our happily ever after! The Andrew Cucchiara Learning Center & Orchard was a perfect space: a rustic barn and enough outdoor space to configure 3 distinct functional areas with no changeover. The space allowed us to host the best day of our lives while easily respecting all the guidelines that caused us to cancel our initial wedding. We were able to completely make the space our own for the weekend which made it so easy to make our day special with every custom touch we wanted.
Shannon was always quick to answer any questions as we were planning we had and made it so easy for us, our vendors, and our guests to get everything needed and ensured a great time on our day. Usually the logistics of a wedding - especially a small DIY event - are overwhelming, but even with constantly changing restrictions, Shannon went above and beyond in helping us with the onsite facilities, day-of details, and empowering our vendors to get what they needed leading up to and throughout our wedding.
We may have been a covid couple, but we were able to host a celebration safely. Pandemic or not, Hale is absolutely a special wedding venue and a place that we will forever cherish. Thankfully we can go back and visit any time! We cannot thank everyone at Hale enough for giving us the opportunity to have the most perfect wedding. And the fact that they made it feel easy in the throws of a pandemic definitely helped make our wedding day even more magical. -

We had a socially-distanced wedding at the Hale Reservation in August 2020, and Hale was the ideal venue for it. If there hadn't been a pandemic happening, Hale still would have been an ideal venue; we just would have been able to invite more people, hug our guests, and have a dance floor.
Hale has at least three very different sites that are good for weddings: a cute garden/orchard, a big field, and a beach by a lake. They connected us with their past vendors for catering, photographers, etc., but they were super flexible about who we chose (it wasn't constrained to their list), and they really helped us make our wedding our own, including changing lots of things around last-minute.
We were able to have a laid-back wedding in an outdoor setting (with indoor bathrooms), and all our guests told us they had a wonderful time. -

My wife and I got married at Hale in October 2020, but we had booked the date long before COVID hit. When we realized our wedding would be majorly impacted by the pandemic we were so grateful to have booked with Hale. Not only is Hale an unbeatable value, it is a picturesque wooded reservation with multiple sites to choose from, but Shannon and the whole team were incredible. They were by far the most responsive and accommodating vendors we worked with, always quick with info and incredibly friendly, which was a huge relief with all of the chaos of adjusting mid-pandemic. We had some problems with other vendors not responding or being unaccommodating to our required COVID-safe changes. Shannon was extremely clear with their safety requirements, but also worked with us to ensure our wedding was still perfect. We were able to make changes as the health emergency developed and visit multiple times before the wedding to confirm new layouts and set ups. My wife and I sincerely can't say enough about how much we loved the Hale reservation, and how special our wedding there was. Serious props to Shannon and the team. We recommend it 100%! -
