  Exceeded our wildest dreams

  Hale Wailele was the perfect venue for our wedding of 65 closest friends and family. The sunsets out the back are etched in my memory forever, and served as the perfect backdrop for our wedding and reception. The property is kept in incredible condition, the property manager Annie was so helpful, responsive, friendly, but also gave us our space. Especially having planned this all from afar, rest assured that the photos are accurate (if anything, they don't give justice to how beautiful it actually is!). The green-lined driveway provides an amazing entrance, through beautiful wooden gates, into a serene pathway floating above an impressive koi pond. The house is perfect for having a few family members or close friends stay or get ready with the bride & groom, and the large kitchen has everything caterers need. The side lawn and lanai serve as versatile spaces for different parts of the wedding. And the pool was a fun gathering space for everyone before/after the wedding. We hope we can return one day to celebrate an anniversary or family reunion again!

  Paradise found!

  Hale Wailele is by far the most magical place I have ever stayed. I almost cried walking into the house - I felt like I had been transported into my own luxury boutique hotel with multiple beautiful koi ponds at the entrance, an infinity pool and a breathtaking view of the sky, ocean and island. Every part of the house is designed to perfection with lovely wood furnishings, high ceilings and impeccable landscaping. My family and I stayed here for an entire week and literally only left maybe 2 or 3 times to run errands; other than that we just enjoyed hanging at Hale Wailele. The house itself is perfect for entertaining. My husband and I had my wedding here for 35 people and it was literally the wedding of our dreams. We did the ceremony on the lanai, cocktail hour next to the bar area and then “flipped” the ceremony space for our dinner. It looked like something out of a magazine. It was a unique location too since everyone could experience this beautiful home with us. My guests kept taking pictures and were soaking in all the beauty. I also want to give a special shout out to Annie, the property manager. She was incredibly helpful, responsive, kind and went above and beyond during our stay. She even helped out during my wedding day to help set up, take pictures and assist my guests with parking. A big thank you to Annie and Karen! This was a week in paradise that my husband and I will never forget!

  Beyond My Wildest Dreams

  I stayed at this property for five nights and hosted my wedding ceremony in the front yard followed by a reception on the Lanai with 50 guests. It was the most amazing, luxurious, and fancy-without-being-pretentious home I have ever stepped foot in. I was blown away walking in the door and all my guests were impressed by the views. If you are looking for a rental home where you can host a beautiful intimate wedding this is the place for you. The property manager Annie is fantastic and helped with all our questions and requests. The home is well-stocked and I managed to find everything I needed to host my wedding guests over multiple nights.
  Overall, this is a dream venue. Please look into the details and book this location if possible. There is no way you could be disappointed.

  Our Perfect Day at the Perfect Place

  Our wedding would not have been nearly as special if we weren't in the most perfect venue. Booking this house was so perfect. All of the vendors came to us, and we didn't have to leave to do our rehearsal. Annie was great with helping with getting our vendors set up. We ended up getting a real downpour on the night of the wedding, and Annie helped move our tables and chairs, and got the awning put down in time for dinner. We sat 40 guests comfortably under the awning and the roof without anyone getting rained on. We had the most scenic pictures, and we even enjoyed the rain. It's the perfect place for a wedding. Annie also referred us to our wedding planner, Dayna with Naupaka Events, and that was a HUGE help to us. I can't recommend this property enough. All of our guests were in the pool by the end of the night, and it was a wedding everyone will remember!!

  Wedding Venue

  The most beautiful home I have ever been to. My husband and I were blown away by not only the view, but the breathtaking architecture, decorations, details, greenery, space and every thing at Hale Wailele. You feel instantly relaxed when you step through the doors. It was the perfect venue for our wedding and wedding week. You don’t want to leave the property, it’s truly heaven. I can’t wait to come back. Not to mention the owners/ property managers went above and beyond. Answered all my detailed questions/ emails/ texts, helped the wedding day run smoothly and the entire week. Overly accommodating, so kind, responded quickly, and was just the best! Thank you for making our dream come true.

  Best wedding venue!!!

  This was a perfect wedding venue. The house is absolutely spectacular-- truly a glorious place to spend a few days before and after the wedding. And it is a PERFECT venue for couples who want a beautiful and classy venue that doesn't feel stuffy and lets you tailor the event to your own tastes. We had such an amazing party and wedding week in general- and this venue was absolutely perfect for us.
  Annie, the caretaker, is incredible- she is helpful without being overbearing, and is always there to answer questions or help out. She was almost an additional planner and helped suggest placement of tables, the DJ, and other wedding preparations. The house has everything you need, and more-- there are extras around the house like vases, some dishware (for smaller events), chafing dishes... and when it started to rain, Annie even brought out enough clear umbrellas for almost everyone to use! The attention to detail was phenomenal, and I cannot recommend this venue highly enough.
  We used Hawaii Sound & Vision for DJ/lights, Big Island Tents for tables/chairs/arch, Black Book Hawaii for wedding coordination, flowers, and bartending services, and Kona Grill House for catering/desserts. I would recommend all of them wholeheartedly!

  Best weeek of our lives

  From the moment our first email went out to Karen and Annie at Hale Wailele to the moment we departed the beautiful grounds it was a dream come true. The communication with switching dated due to covid, upon check in, during the week, wedding, and after was beyond easy. Annie was always available and accommodated to our needs. The space itself is insanely beautiful. I do not think there is another place like this in all of Hawai'i. Your mouth hits the floor from the moment you walk in the front doors. Our wedding was everything we imagined and that was because of this hale. It was truly the best week of our lives. We had a perfect spot to hold gathering every night. We laughed, ate, listen to music, and took in the stunning view of the ocean/sunsets below. Not one thing went wrong all week and that was due to the pure bliss hale wailele brings. I am native Hawaiian and cannot say enough of bought how special this place is to us. Do not hesitate in staying here it is worth it and MORE!!! I cannot speak highly enough of Karen and Annie. Thank you both for making this week a dream literally come true.

  Dream wedding venue & tropical getaway heaven

  We had the most perfect experience from start to finish getting married here earlier this year. The owner, Karen, was incredibly helpful and responsive from the very beginning stages of planning, including helping to set up a time for my then fiance and I to see it before committing to the rental. The onsite managers, Heather and Steve, were just wonderful. They were available but not intrusive at all, and were happy to help with any and all details and suggestions to make our event go smoothly and without a hitch. The house was clean, beautiful, well-stocked with things we didn't even think of needing, and while it is beautifully decorated with some likely priceless decor, it is still a comfortable and welcoming place to call home for the time we were lucky enough to be there. We hope to return someday sooner than later, and would recommend this location to anyone, for any event or get-away, we truly had just a perfect experience!

  Fantastic wedding venue on the Big Island!

  Steve and Heather were fantastic host and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable during our stay. Hale Wailele is an incredible wedding venue and everything worked out perfectly for our dream wedding. I would highly recommend this place for a small-ish wedding on the Big Island!

  Amazing Hidden Gem

  We were looking for an amazing hidden gem for our family getaway as well as a location for an intimate wedding. Hale Wailele exceeded our dreams of a picture perfect week.
