  Choosing Haley MaKay Event Planning was one of the best decisions we made for our special day! From the moment I connected with Haley, her professionalism and dedication were evident. Haley and her team (Claire + Kim) truly went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect.

  Hands down Haley Makay Event Planning is the best there is!

  Haley and her team are amazing! I couldn't have imagined a more perfect day and Haley and her team were such a huge part of that. I've heard from several guests and family members about how amazing my wedding was, and this wouldn't have been possible with out Haley Makay Events! Haley was on top of everything and I always felt like my wedding was at the top of her mind throughout the planning process. I highly recommend Haley and her team!!

  Lovely experience and amazing team!

  One of the sweetest girls you will ever meet! Haley is such a rockstar, I'm so glad I found her to help me plan my wedding. We would have been lost without her. It's really so helpful to have someone who knows the business when you're asking questions to vendors and to have someone be in your corner. Not only did she help with reaching out to vendors beforehand and attending final meetings with me, but I just can't imagine how the day of would have gone without her there. She was so prepared, calm, and HELPFUL. So responsive, as well. Never felt like i wasn't a priority and was so responsive to texts/calls./facetimes. So, so thankful for her and her amazing team.

  The Best Wedding Planning Decision We Made

  It has been a week since our wedding and we are still in awe of Haley and her team. Haley guided us through every detail of planning our wedding weekend and it turned out better than we dreamed. If anything did not go as planned she must have kept it hidden from us because every moment was absolutely perfect. We hired a wedding planner for our special day and ended up with a friend. The day of she danced with me, laughed with me, fed me, gave me her socks, laced my husbands shoes, called multiple urgent cares to see who had the shortest wait (accident prone little brothers), helped me into my second dress, brought me sips of margarita, and so much more, all while coordinating every moment to plan. I could not recommend Haley Makay Event Planning more and I am already missing our meetings.

  Haley Makay Events Made Our Wedding Day Perfect!

  Initially, we were not planning on having a day-of coordinator, but as family dynamics became more challenging, we realized we needed one. We are so happy we chose Haley Makay Events because Haley guided us through every decision and reassured us whenever it was needed. This led us to have the most fun on our wedding day. Our goal was to be on the dance floor the entire night, and they made that happen. Kristie, and Kimberly were amazing—they did everything! From coordinating the vendors and keeping us on schedule to getting my husband and me anything we needed, they were on top of it all. They were truly the best part of our wedding day. I am truly grateful for their support. I would recommend them to everyone I know planning a wedding!!

  Incredible Day of Coordinator!

  Haley was an absolute highlight of our wedding experience! She was more than we ever could have imagined as a Day of Coordinator. If it wasn't for her, our rehearsal and wedding day would not have run so smoothly. She was a great advocate for us and made our wedding day stress free. On top of her organizational skills and expertise, she is the kindest, sweetest, most loving person and it was an honor to get to know her throughout the entire process. We would recommend her to anyone looking for a coordinator or planner!

  Best decision for our wedding!

  When searching for a wedding coordinator we were looking for someone who had a passion for weddings who would be able to handle our day of coordination to allow everyone to be a guest at our wedding. Immediately upon speaking with Haley we knew Haley Makay Events was a perfect fit! Haley is easy to talk to, very knowledgeable about the wedding industry and took the time to get to know us to ensure our big day would be exactly what we imagined. Haley was always available for questions and even provided us with vendor recommendations. We had several meetings with Haley during the planning process which was so helpful. Haley went above and beyond! She even came to help us the day before the wedding as she knew we were having problems with the venue. Haley had a wedding already booked for our day, so our day of coordinator was Valerie who were also amazing! Valerie kept everything running smoothly and handled any issues that came up. Claire also helped out behind the scenes. It was such a relief to know that Valerie and Claire would be there to handle everything and anything the day of our wedding. Hiring Haley Makay Events was the best decision we made during the planning process!

  I don't even where to begin--having Haley help coordinate my wedding was a complete God send. I honestly don't know how I would have planned and gotten through my wedding day without her. She is a true professional and an expert at her craft. She knows the right types of questions to ask when working with vendors and always provided helpful insight. I knew I didn't have to worry about anything on my wedding or stress the little details because Haley was always on it. She was always so accommodating and enthusiastic--we are so lucky to have found her!! Throughout the process of working with Haley, she became more of a friend, rather than just your wedding planner. I'm honestly sad it's all over because I genuinely miss working with her. She always wanted to make my needs were put first--throughout the wedding planning process and on my wedding day. I cannot say enough good things about Haley and her team. Would truly recommend her to any bride in the area looking to get married who needs some extra assistance in planning their big day! I cannot recommend Haley enough! She pulled off our dream wedding in just 6 months and she made sure we got everything we wanted! I could spend a whole day writing all the amazing things about her but honestly just hire her and you'll see for yourself!!

  Incredible Coordinator - Made our whole day!

  We hired Haley for day-of coordination for our wedding and we could not be happier with our decision. We had 2 meetings before the wedding where she helped us finalize details and gave us guidance on questions to ask our vendors. She kept us calm leading up to the wedding and on the day. We were able to relax on our day and enjoy the moment knowing that Haley had everything under control and handled. We even had a bridesmaid medical emergency on the day that had the potential to cause absolute chaos, but Haley handled it effortlessly and kept all of the stress off of us. She is the absolute best and we totally recommend her!

  My wedding mvp. Second to the bride I guess…

  Omg. I can’t imagine how my wedding would have gone with out her. She is the most outstanding impressive over the top fantastic vendor I could have ever dreamt of. Do not go thru your wedding day without her. She was there for whatever I needed, eager to help, attentive and polite. Even the guests that she interacted with were thrilled just to visit with her.   If I could book Haley 1000 more times, I would!

  I could not recommend Haley Makay Events enough! Her "helper" package was everything we needed - she checked in with us throughout our engagement to see what help we needed while planning, guided us on what we should have booked by when (even helped book the DJ and cake for us), was a main contact with our venue throughout planning, and as we got closer was such a helpful source of decor design/planning and creating a timeline for the day! She came to every meeting with so many details for us to review, including things I never would have thought about on my own. And when it came to the day of our wedding, we did not have to think about a THING. She made sure everyone was where they needed to be at all times (us, parents, wedding party, photographers, etc.), handled all setup and tear down, and made sure to know all relationship dynamics so she could step in with a distraction before any attitudes could fly. I truly felt like she knew our vision and brains inside and out, and was such a calming energy when planning got stressful. Haley and her team are 1000% worth the investment, and I would hire her again for any future party/event in a HEARTBEAT!!

  You need Haley.

  Haley was the best wedding planning decision I made. I hired her as my full, dream day wedding planner, and trust me when I say you NEED her, whether as a full planner or a day-of coordinator. Having a planner/coordinator is not an expense you want to skimp on, and if you're even thinking about it a little bit, just hire Haley. I promise you, you will not regret it. You're obviously going to get the professionalism and execution of your event, but the part that is so unique to Haley is her thoughtfulness, kindness, and overall good heart. She was hired to make my wedding day go smoothly (and it did!), but she absolutely over-delivered in making sure I was comfortable and truly enjoying my day every step of the way. She took control of everything. My husband even said this the day after our wedding: "I had so much fun. And honestly, I think it's because Haley did such a good job of taking control of everything that day. She always offered to help look for vendors that I had given up on (i.e., videographer, bouquet preservation, etc.), whether I had given up on them due to cost or just lack of capacity to deal, but she kept moving me forward so that I could have my dream wedding and zero regrets. She always started our meetings off with asking how I was feeling and I could tell she wanted a genuine answer. It felt really nice to know she cared about me and not just our wedding. She also always made me feel so good about myself and where we were in the planning stages - she always told me she was so proud of me. She probably doesn't realize how big of an impact these small gestures are because she's just that genuinely humble and sweet. Every vendor of mine LOVED Haley, and that also says a lot. She is fantastic and I know you will have an amazing wedding planning experience with her by your side.

  Haley was the best wedding planning decision I made. I hired her as my full, dream day wedding planner, and trust me when I say you NEED her, whether as a full planner or a day-of coordinator. Having a planner/coordinator is not an expense you want to skimp on, and if you're even thinking about it a little bit, just hire Haley. I promise you, you will not regret it. You're obviously going to get the professionalism and execution of your event, but the part that is so unique to Haley is her thoughtfulness, kindness, and overall good heart. She was hired to make my wedding day go smoothly (and it did!), but she absolutely over-delivered in making sure I was comfortable and truly enjoying my day every step of the way. She took control of everything. My husband even said this the day after our wedding: "I had so much fun. And honestly, I think it's because Haley did such a good job of taking control of everything that day.   Gratitude!

We didn't think we'd be able to have the kind of feel for our wedding reception within budget, but Haley was able to get us what we needed and wanted, allowing us to feel the kind of peace, calm, and joy every couple should feel on their day of love. We needed someone specifically for the reception because we had enough hands for the wedding. I'd recommend her to anyone getting married in Michigan who wants to make sure the day feels as smooth as silk for the bride.   Haley is the absolute BEST! From the moment we engaged her for my son and daughter-in-law's wedding, she went above and beyond to make sure the day was as special as we imagined it to be. She began by listening to the couple's vision and wishes, knew what questions to ask to ensure they understood their options, helped them focus on the things that were most important to them, and had amazing recommendations to put it all together. It was clear that Haley has a wide array of contacts and understands the industry inside and out. On the day of the wedding, she was on point and took care of every detail with a calming presence that made the day run smoothly, while removing the stress from the wedding party and family. She was thorough, thoughtful, and respectful in working with everyone from the venue and catering staff to the photographer, to the florist, to the families...everyone on the team. I know she took care of some little glitches--which are inevitable with any event, no matter how much you plan--but I honestly no one remembers what they were or how she did it because it was seamless and she made it look effortless.   Haley was the best wedding coordinator a couple could ask for! She was professional and always there when we needed her! She thought of things I would have never thought of to make my day extra special. She took all my stress and worries away. She will be my first call for every event I have in the future! Love love love her!!!!
