The Best in the Burgh!

Hannah and her team of stylists/makeup artists are truly the best in Pittsburgh. We could not have been happier with our decision to hire Hannah for our wedding - she made us and our entire wedding party look our most beautiful all weekend long. She also is such a sweet and warm person to be around, and went above and beyond with her customer service to make our wedding experience super special. We would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for the right team to make their wedding weekend perfect!

Beautiful people, beautiful artists

Cannot tell you how lucky I was to have worked with Hannah and her team! I had the great fortune of having Emily do my makeup two days in a row (two weddings), and she allowed me to feel like a princess both days! She and the rest of the Hannah Conard Beauty team made everyone in my bridal party look and feel beautiful, not stopping until everyone was happy and perfectly representative of them. We had such a blast together, too!

There are no words for how much I adore Hannah Conard. There is no question that Hannah’s talent is RIDICULOUS, but let me tell you about the way she made me FEEL. When I first met Hannah, she told me that her goal wasn’t to make me look different, it was to simply make me feel like the best, most glamorous version of myself. This is 100% how I felt on the day of my wedding.
Beyond her ability to make you look like a movie star, Hannah has this genuine aura of positivity that just makes you want to be around her. She is so warm and sweet, she kept me calm and smiling the entire morning of my wedding. Everyone that day raved about how stunning I looked and I could not have felt more beautiful. Hannah is truly the best.
You may think it would be hard to please TEN bridesmaids and two mothers, but Hannah and her team exceeded everyone’s expectations. Actual comment from one of my bridesmaids: “I look better than I did on the day of my own wedding!”.
Typically, the review would stop here, but let me tell you a little story. Around 2:30pm, only an hour before we were supposed to be at the church, one of my girls went to zipper her dress… then it got stuck and eventually ripped at the seam until the entire dress was essentially in half!! NO JOKE! Hannah’s team immediately went to the front desk of the hotel got a sewing kit and started putting the dress back together. I don’t think any of us would have been so chill about the entire thing if it wasn’t for Hannah and her team. Seriously, we were all just laughing as my friend was being sewn into her dress minutes before walking down the aisle!
I cannot recommend Hannah enough... she is absolutely amazing! Book her now before someone else does!

Cannot say enough great things about Hannah and her team!! She did hair and makeup for my sister's wedding in 2014 and I KNEW I needed to have her when the time came for me. She could not be nicer, easier to get along with, or more fun. She is incredibly open to talking through your vision and figuring out what works best for you. The results are unbelievable. You still look like yourself, but just a much better version. No crazy contouring or airbrushing, just incredibly well done natural and fun makeup. I could not recommend her more!!

Hannah and her team were absolutely wonderful to work with. She is the best of the best in Pittsburgh and I could not recommend her more. It is difficult to please the bride and 9 bridesmaids and every person loved their hair and makeup. As the bride, I've never felt more beautiful. I know how to do my own makeup well and I'm slightly picky but Hannah exceeded all expectations. After we did the demo/trial run, I was thrilled and instantly put at ease knowing that I was going to love my wedding day look. One less thing to worry about! Truly, I looked the best I ever have, which is want on your big day! Hannah has such a bubbly, positive personality, she is just a doll! If you want a stress-free wedding day and don't want to worry if you'll like your hair/makeup, then book Hannah. She is absolutely amazing! (And book her early!)

Hannah was my star vendor of the day. So many other vendors required help along the way, but when I sat in Hannah's chair it all went away. There was a lot of activity during the last few hours before the start of the festivities. Hannah's calm and goofy presence kept me centered; she didn't chastise every time I looked down at my phone to see how the ceremony decor was coming along, nor did I hear any complaints while I was trying to feed all of my bridesmaids while they were in her chair. Hannah's girls were the only ones expert enough to pin on boutonnieres! Her team showed up to the venue even before I did; they moved furniture around to find the best light. In fact, the day before the wedding I learned that she would have only 3 hours to do her work, instead of the 5 that she planned; Hannah was able to move things around and make it all work! Highly recommend! PS..we all looked incredible, and there was volume in our hair that no hairstylist has ever been able to create.

Hannah and her team are simply the best. Seriously, the absolute best. I have never felt more beautiful than on my wedding day and I have Hannah to thank for that. She and her team traveled over 4 hours to my wedding location to take care of hair and makeup for my very large wedding party, my family members, and me. They are the most wonderful team ever and so much fun to be with. They made the entire morning of my wedding day so fun and easy. The same goes for the hair and makeup trial for my mom and me, which took place a few weeks before the wedding. Everything was just perfect. I cannot recommend them enough!

I am so happy I made the decision to go with Hannah's business! After booking someone else and then freaking out (after seeing some of her work) only 2 months before, Hannah was able to schedule myself and bridal party with BreAnn. I went to their location for my trial while I was in town and then BreAnn came to us on wedding day.. and oh man, she did an AMAZING job. It was even better than the trial (which I was very pleased with!) She did updo's for all of us and we all loved them. They lasted all day and night through the 97 degree humid heat.

I would recommend them to anyone, especially BreAnn!

I had on site hair and makeup services for my wedding and the girls that came, Hannah and Rachel, were fantastic. Not only were they very nice to talk to but my bridal hair was so pretty and my makeup was exactly what I had hoped for. I did a trial about a week and a half before the day of the wedding and we made some tweaks based on how the makeup wore all day. I am was so very happy with the end result. I had three bridesmaids and their makeup was so gorgeous and their hair was so cute! I would definitely recommend using Hannah Conard Beauty for any on site hair and makeup that you might need done!

One of my fears on my wedding day was my hair. Baby fine and a crazy natural curly, it’s usually lifeless and pulled up in a ponytail. I thought for sure I was going to need extensions or something to make it look halfway decent but there was magic worked on that day. Hannah did both mine and my mom’s hair (which exactly like mine) and it was absolutely beautiful and all mine! I had a gorgeous loose up do with tons of volume; my hair was transformed. Hannah also did the makeup for me, mom and grandmother. She talked to each one of us to find our style and tailored our looks. I am more of a natural person while my mom and grandmother are a little flashy. I have never felt so beautiful and my mom and grandmother were beautiful and youthful. The make-up was natural and flawless. It stayed throughout the day/evening and even made it through the tears. She was very warm and friendly and has an amazing personality, which was a plus since we spent time with her getting ready. She was on time and completed the services timely. Overall I am completely satisfied with Hannah.

I cannot say enough great things about Hannah. I am the type of person that is very particular about my hair and finding the right hair stylist to use for my wedding day was a top priority for me. I searched for a long time and ended up contacting Hannah, and I am so so happy that I did!

On my wedding day, I had a total of 11 people getting their hair done, including myself, and Hannah and her assistant made every single person look stunning. I wanted to be sure that everyone looked classy and elegant and Hannah accomplished just that. I have never really liked my hair when I have had it done in the past and I absolutely LOVED my hair on my wedding day! I felt so beautiful.

Beyond her talent for hair styling, Hannah is the nicest and sweetest person. She really helps you to try to find your perfect bridal look. I was having trouble communicating what I wanted and Hannah was incredibly patient and tried multiple hair styles until we found exactly what I wanted.

I couldn't recommend Hannah more highly! She is truly amazing!

Hannah did my hair and makeup for both an engagement photo session in the fall, and my recent June wedding. I was incredibly pleased with her work for both events! At the engagement session, my then-fiance was truly wowed by the whole look. The hair and makeup also looked great in the engagement photos. At our recent wedding, Hannah and her team arrived bright and early to do hair and makeup for myself and bridal party. Each bridesmaid looked amazing! Hannah even had extra supplies for when one of the girls showed up with dirty hair and requested a blowout. The bridal look that Hannah did for me was just perfect -- classic, soft, and elegant. I felt both comfortable and beautiful the whole day. The hair and makeup also lasted through a rainy, humid summer day, which speaks volumes.

In addition to her excellent hair and makeup skills, Hannah and her team also had a great, positive energy which really helped to make the early morning beauty prep as pleasant as can be! She was also very prompt to arrive on-site, and responds to emails in a timely manner. I would recommend Hannah to any bride who wants to look natural, ethereal, and beautiful on her wedding day!

Working with Hannah was wonderful. I did a makeup trial and knew I was in good hands--she really understood the "looking like a better version of myself" vision. She was also very flexible when I realized that with 2 weeks to go I probably wasn't going to master that Pinterest hairstyle--she looked at a few pictures for reference and created an amazing updo that lasted for hours!
She was a very calming presence on my wedding day, easily picking up on when I felt chatty and when I just wanted to sit quietly.

Thank you for making me feel so beautiful, Hannah!

Hannah and her sister did hair and makeup for my bridal party and myself. They were very kind and listened to what we wanted. At first there was a miscommunication regarding time of appointments but after realizing that I was upset Hannah went out of her way to accomodate me. I didn't have the best luck with hiring someone and finding reliable vendors in the hair and makeup industry, and Hannah actually replaced a vendor that canceled on my group a few weeks prior to my wedding. The cancellation was a blessing in disguise because I was so pleased with Hannah and her lovely sister. I couldn't have been happier with my hair and makeup.

Great Experience!

Hannah's team was so wonderful to work with! We had Emily and Kelly doing my hair and make-up as well as my mom and two bridesmaids. I first met Emily at my trial and despite me knowing nothing about hair and makeup, Emily made me feel comfortable and worked with me to figure out a look I loved! The day of our wedding we wanted to feel very relaxed and stress free and Emily and Kelly were a big part of that! They made us look beautiful but more than that they were so kind and fun and we just enjoyed being around them all day. They both worked to make sure we were completely happy with our looks and were even fixing fly away hairs on their way out when they saw us taking photos. Overall they went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and I would highly recommend working with them!

While Hannah’s email response might not be what some expect, I think it is important to keep in mind that you do not really need to hear from her until the wedding is much closer. When my wedding date was coming up, Hannah was speedy in her responses and on the ball. Her team was professional and fun. The looks they created were stunning without the use of heavy make up. Her prices are completely reasonable and for the looks, amazing really.

After my photographer and florist both recommended Hannah, I knew she had to be amazing. I was excited when I was able to book her for my wedding day! We got together for a trial about a month before the wedding and was so happy that once I met her she was just as calming and sweet as she was talented. She really listens to you and what you want for your big day. I think my favorite is that she enhances your natural beauty rather than covers it up with a bunch of make-up. We tried a few different hairstyles before finding the one, and she didn't mind at all! After meeting with her for the trial, I quickly realized how busy she is and it explained some late responses to emails. To my surprise, Hannah was thinking of me after the trial and sent me an email with a different hairstyle/way to wear a flower crown that we didn't try, but she thought would look amazing. The day of, Hannah and her team showed up right on time and quickly got organized in the hotel room to get started with the group. All of them were so much fun and we had such a relaxed morning getting pampered. Hannah made me feel SO beautiful and kept me laughing. She has such an easy personality to get along with and I'm so happy to have her do my hair and makeup the day of. She kept her team on track and would ask them to fix anything she didn't think was up to her standards, which shows her professionalism and talent! We tried the new hair style and it was as perfect as she thought it would be. I wish that I had more reasons to use Hannah's talent more frequently! She's such a joy and such a talent. She will make you look and feel your best on your day, I am sure of it!

Hannah and her team are incredible. Every woman who used them for our wedding could not stop commenting how amazing and natural, yet "wedding-ish" their hair and makeup looked. Hannah is SO easy to work with and a true professional; during my preview/test hair and makeup session she carefully considered different looks with me while comparing my ideas and face shape/hair type to create the perfect look. When I wasn't sure about certain colors or styles she patiently and expertly tried different shades/styles leading to a look that I LOVED. I swear Hannah must be a magician- she is THAT good!!! I also want to mention how nice and easy going her team is- making our bridal party feel calm, relaxed, and beautiful the day of my wedding. I felt like I was in the hands of a true expert. If you are on the fence about whether or not to pay for your hair and makeup- do it! It will make you feel extra pretty and alleviate the extra stress of doing it yourself. I cannot say enough about how phenomenal Hannah and her team are to work with! I did a trial run a few weeks before the wedding and was extremely nervous because I didn't want to look "fake" on my wedding day. Emily and Angie literally made me feel and look stunning the day of the trial and even better on my wedding day! My entire bridal party looked beautiful as well!! A few weeks before my wedding, I added a couple more services for the day of and Hannah was able to find another hair stylist to make the day go efficiently! The only thing was that considering how busy Hannah is, it typically took days to get in touch with her via email. It gave me tons of anxiety but looking back now, it was totally worth it given how great their work is! So if you're also an anxious bride, rest assured, you are in good hands with Hannah Conard Beauty! THANK YOU for being apart of our perfect day!! I was fortunate to work with both Hannah Conard and Hannah who works along with her. They were both a joy to work with! Hannah was professional and her experience spoke loud and clear in the results. I moved a few months before the wedding, so they were able to accommodate a demo the day before the wedding. She did make-up for not only me, but my mother and the 5 bridesmaids. I let her creativity fly and the results were better than I could have imagined! Thank you to both Hannah and Hannah for being a part of my celebration!

I booked Hannah to do my hair and makeup for my wedding, as well as my engagement pictures. She also did the makeup for two of my bridesmaids. Hannah is exactly the type of person you want around you on your wedding day - she is easy going, funny, and a calming. Plus she is great at what she does! I felt like the best version of myself on my wedding day. My hair and makeup was exactly what I wanted, plus it lasted all night! When I went in for my trial for my wedding look, I was very unsure of what I wanted for my hair - Hannah listened to my thoughts and was able to suggest and try a few things until we landed on something I loved. I couldn't be happier - plus she has the cutest dog! :) :)

Hannah and her team were an absolute joy to work with on our wedding day in March. Her team made every one of my bridesmaids look and feel absolutely gorgeous. The team arrived on time, and completed all of the services right on schedule. I had 12 services total between myself and my girls, and they got through all of them in just a few hours.

From the moment I had my hair and makeup trial with Hannah, I knew I had selected the right vendor for my wedding day. She made me feel beautiful and natural feeling (I don't typically like to wear a lot of makeup). Although the services are expensive, they are worth every penny in my opinion.

The only thing I will say is that Hannah and her team are extremely busy, and there are instances where it does take her a few days to respond to emails. For nervous brides, my advice would be to stay patient and don't worry! She will get back to you when she can.
