  Brilliant, original photographers with heart!

  Megan and Jacob were a joy to work with for our wedding! I knew as soon as I checked out their portfolio that they were the ones we wanted. They bring such unique angles and have the eye to capture striking and heartfelt moments. Their system made things easy and streamlined in the runup to the big day, so I never had to stress about anything photo-related. They were lovely and inobtrusive on the day - always there but never in the way. We were absolutely thrilled each time we got more pics back (from a sneak peek right after the wedding, to a mini gallery a few weeks later, and then the full gallery a bit later)! Even my Dad (who is notoriously hard to please and fancies himself a bit of an amateur photographer) was blown away by their work. And throughout everything, they have just been incredibly kind, generous, and thoughtful. You definitely want them for your wedding!

  Truly Phenomenal Artists and Humans

  When chatting with friends pre-wedding, several recommended taking extra care when choosing a photographer. "You're going to be spending so much time with them on your wedding day....You don't want anyone who's going to crash the moment and make it a photo shoot...You only get one day to take these photos, so make sure it's someone really skilled..." etc, etc...
  
  Well, you truly cannot get any better than the Hannahs. When I found Megan and Jacob's portfolio online, I immediately fell in love with their work. They capture the moment in such a striking, beautiful way; I felt like I had gone to the weddings they pictured on their website! And then I had a call with Megan and realized what wonderful people they are. We knew they were the folks to trust with our wedding day.
  
  I was nervous that my excitement would be overwhelming, and I wouldn’t be able to remember all of the specific details of our wedding day. That worry melted away because each time something special happened, my brain would think “OH! I hope I can remember this…” and I’d immediately hear *There was Jacob or Megan somehow magically in the exact right place, capturing it without affecting the genuine moment at ALL. They were invisible AND supportive at the same time.
  
  Not to mention the seriously astounding photos they took. We will cherish them forever, and it's impossible to pick a favorite. You two are the real deal, and we cannot thank you enough. For anyone looking for stunning, thoughtful wedding photos... go with Hannah Photography!

  Amazing photojournalism!

  As anyone who has ever planned a wedding will tell you, it all goes by so fast. From the start, my husband and I were determined to make photography a priority in our budget. We knew that we wanted timeless photojournalism, and we knew what we wanted to avoid—artificial poses with trendy Instagram filters. That search led us to Jacob and Megan Hannah. Of the hundreds of decisions we ultimately made about our wedding, hiring the Hannahs was truly one of the best! Our wedding day was a perfect mix of tears and laughter, grand spectacle and quiet intimacy, and somehow Jacob and Megan managed to capture it all. With their cameras in hand, they were able to freeze every fleeting moment so that we can relive it time and again. Our pictures are vibrant and real and brimming with life. We were left completely in awe of their talents. Finally, we just want to mention how nice they are as people. Remember, your wedding photographers will be with you throughout the day, so feeling completely at ease is essential. Jacob and Megan made everything simple. They could not have been more accommodating throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, which forced us to reschedule our wedding not just once, but twice. And on the day itself, they were not only organized, efficient, and friendly, they were unobtrusive when it mattered most, allowing us to live in the moment and fully enjoy the day. We relaxed, knowing that they would preserve our memories for us. And they did. Perhaps that is the best compliment we can give Jacob and Megan. They captured our wedding exactly as we remember it, down to every last emotion.

  I cannot recommend Hannah Photography enough. Not only are the photographs from our wedding spectacular, but Megan and Jacob were incredible to work with. They captured every moment in the most stunning way and always made us feel at ease. They moved through the day so perfectly and made sure to photograph every moment from the most important aspects of the ceremony to the candid dance shots. We loved every minute of working with them and would give them more than 5 stars if we could!

  Jacob and Megan are absolutely amazing!! I HIGHLY recommend Hannah Photography!
  Right from the beginning, they were extremely responsive and I loved the idea of a husband and wife team being a part of our wedding day. One thing I REALLY appreciated was that they checked in numerous times, including a few days before the wedding to just let me know that everything was all set and they would see me at this time and this location on the wedding day. You have no idea how nice that was! They were actually our only vendor that did that, I had to check in with all our other vendors and make sure everything was all set. With Jacob and Megan, I never had to worry about a thing.
  Their photos are SO stunning. My husband and I loved that they are documentary style photographers, but they also got every single photo that we requested in a timely manner. We were even able to make it to our cocktail hour which was great! Jacob and Megan were also non-intrusive, we didn't even notice them even, though they were everywhere throughout the day, capturing every special moment. When we got our wedding video is actually when I noticed Jacob and Megan subtly. They would capture one moment and rush over to a different area to get different angles. This showed me how truly hardworking they are and how much they care about every photo that they took. Creative, gorgeous, breathtaking photos were the result. I've had family members tell me that they are the most beautiful wedding photos they have ever seen.
  Jacob and Megan are not only incredibly talented and hardworking photographers, they are genuinely kind, good people. I could not be happier that we found them!!
  Megan and Jacob are not your typical wedding photographers, they are on another level. Thank you SOOO much Megan and Jacob for our amazing wedding photos that we will cherish forever!! The photos bring tears to my eyes every time I look at them. I cannot speak highly enough about Megan and Jacob. They are truly the best!!!

  Megan and Jacob are absolutely the best - they exceeded our expectations in every way. They are professional, creative, incredibly hard working, and as an added bonus, are lovely to be around.
  
  We booked them a little over a year before the wedding and despite it being such a long time away, they continued to check in with us to get to know us better and to help us with any questions or concerns that might have come up.
  
  On the wedding day we hardly noticed them at all and yet they managed to capture every special, intimate, and hilarious moment that occurred. Prior to the wedding we had discussed the list of people we wanted photographs with, they made sure to have that list on hand and checked them all off before the end of cocktail hour. During the reception, they blended right in and captured each moment in a unique and heartfelt way. The only time we noticed them was when they came to bring us outside so they could get an incredible silhouette photograph of us in front of the full moon - which has become our favorite picture of the night!
  
  Going through the gallery of photographs was like reliving the whole day over again. They have a documentary style of shooting that captured the emotion of the day in way that will help us remember this day and that feeling forever. We cannot recommend them enough!

  The Hannah's work is unreal and on top of it Hannah and Jacob are kind, professional, responsive, and thoroughly energized by the work they do. They were completely un-intrusive but every time something magical and memorable happened - there they were front and center. How'd they keep doing that? The photos themselves were stunning. They captured motion, laughter, love - all candid and provided a calming presence to the day. I also appreciate that they did the hard work of sorting through the images and picking their tier 1, 2, and 3 shots. I whole heartedly recommend them - you will not be disappointed.

  We fell in love with Megan and Jacob's photography style from looking at their work on their website, and were even happier to discover that they are the nicest people you will ever meet. As a husband and wife team, they are able to capture multiple angles of the wedding day - not just straight-on portraits, but also intimate and candid moments that really capture the spirit of the day. They took the initiative to check in with us many times before the wedding to make sure they fully understood what we wanted, from timing to shots to style, which left us feeling comfortable and confident well ahead of our wedding day.   Megan and Jacob are beyond wonderful. If you are looking for the best combination of any qualities you would want in a photographer – look no further! From our first meeting, we felt that they were kind, considerate, down-to-earth, and professional. I got the sense that these were people that I would actually enjoy being around on our big day…and this turned out to be so right! You will be so happy with the photos, I can’t even describe how well their pictures captured the joy and feel of our day. Also, they were extremely responsive to any of our questions throughout the process. They had not been to our venue before, and they were happy to come meet us there to get the "lay of the land."
  
  Both Megan and Jacob were very open to doing the “staged” and silly photos that I wanted (while ensuring they look fantastic) - in addition to their superb “candid” and documentary style photos. Jacob did such an incredible job “seeing” and capturing intimate moments without being intrusive at all. Also, they are just genuine and kind people – we really enjoyed having them be a part of our celebration. They were both incredibly supportive and easy-going. We felt completely comfortable with the entire process because of their organic and personable approach to photography. One of our favorite memories of the wedding is when were able to take a break from our reception (phew!) and get a few more bride & groom portraits. I already plan to hire them again for our vow renewals :)

  Megan and Jacob are the BEST! We absolutely loved their style and knew that they were the perfect team to capture our day. Megan and Jacob were such a joy to have at our wedding and memorialized every aspect of our wedding beautifully. They went above and beyond to drive me and my husband to a covered bridge 30 minutes away just so that we could have the most magical Vermont wedding photos. We will cherish our pictures forever and can't recommend them more highly.

  Really fantastic husband and wife team. Have been so responsive and attentive. We feel very happy knowing that they will be at the helm of the camera on our wedding day.
  
  Update: Our wedding went so smoothly, and working with Jacob and Megan was a dream. They kept the staged portraits to a minimum, and really were a documentary style photographer team. When we let them know last minute that we found a great spot for extra photos, they jumped right in and were able to capture some stunning photos in that location. We have had a couple of gorgeous photos sent to us as teasers, and we're so excited to see the final products! I absolutely recommend booking this team!

  From engagement pics to our wedding photography.. the Hannahs made working with them such a breeze. They are so flexible, professional, and incredibly talented, and I am so happy we chose them to capture these special moments.   Jacob and Meghan were fantastic!! We got married in the summer of 2016 on a half beautiful, half thunderstorming day. As a result, our photos were incredibly dramatic, but we also had to change our original photo plan and fly by the the seat of our pants throughout the day. Jacob and Meghan did an amazing job making sure that our special moments were documented without dragging us away from our guests.
  
  We picked Hannah Photography because a friend had recommended another photographer who was unavailable. We asked that photographer who he recommended, and he said Hannah Photography was who he would hire to do his wedding. We figured the word of a 'competitor' is the highest praise, so we booked them right away!
  
  Leading up to the wedding, we had a chance to Skype with them to talk through our preferences and expectations. This helped us all get to know each other before the big day (we were planning our Vermont wedding from Washington DC and did not do an engagement shoot), so on the wedding day we were already at ease. All communication was great. My husband also told me that Jacob was a great presence during the final half hour before the ceremony when his groomsmen had gone to greet the arriving guests (Megan was great with me too, but I also had my bridesmaids) During both the ceremony and reception, they were able to take gorgeous photos in an unobtrusive way.
  
  I highly recommend, without hesitation. They did a great job and we love our photos! I will note that because they use more of a photo journalism style, if you have specific people you want photos of, be sure to tell them. There were some guests who didn't show up in the photos, but that was just because we basically let them be the artists and capture the evening as they saw fit (we did very few portraits).   Jacob and Meghan were fantastic!! We got married in the summer of 2016 on a half beautiful, half thunderstorming day. As a result, our photos were incredibly dramatic, but we also had to change our original photo plan and fly by the the seat of our pants throughout the day. Jacob and Meghan did an amazing job making sure that our special moments were documented without dragging us away from our guests.
  
  We picked Hannah Photography because a friend had recommended another photographer who was unavailable. We asked that photographer who he recommended, and he said Hannah Photography was who he would hire to do his wedding. We figured the word of a 'competitor' is the highest praise, so we booked them right away!
  
  Leading up to the wedding, we had a chance to Skype with them to talk through our preferences and expectations. This helped us all get to know each other before the big day (we were planning our Vermont wedding from Washington DC and did not do an engagement shoot), so on the wedding day we were already at ease. All communication was great. My husband also told me that Jacob was a great presence during the final half hour before the ceremony when his groomsmen had gone to greet the arriving guests (Megan was great with me too, but I also had my bridesmaids) During both the ceremony and reception, they were able to take gorgeous photos in an unobtrusive way.

Megan and Jacob took the most beautiful photos and my husband and I couldn't have been more impressed!! We received a copy of all the photos printed and stored in a gorgeous box with our name and wedding date, as well as a pretty flash drive containing all the images from our wedding. We are working with them now to create our photo album. I am excited to share these photos with my family for many years to come.

  The Hannahs are a lovely husband and wife team that are such a pleasure to work with and are wonderful artists. They were very flexible and Jacob stops at absolutely nothing to get the perfect shot!! Their pictures really are a works of art! We now have some of the most gorgeous pictures to remember the best day of our lives!

  A year before our wedding we luckily stumbled across the Hannah Weddings website online and immediately liked the look of their work! We scheduled our first "meeting" with Megan and Jacob, by FaceTime. They listened to our ideas - we wanted more candid, unique shots rather than your typical staged wedding photos - and after discussing with them we were confident that their approach (photojournalism) would be a perfect match for what we had in mind!
  They offered several different photo packages and we didn't have a problem finding one that worked for our needs and budget. 6 months prior to the wedding Megan and Jacob graciously agreed to drive several hours to our wedding location to meet us in person so we could show them the property where we would be married. Since we were having a very intimate wedding (less than 40 people) we wanted to be sure they had a good feel and vision of the type photos we wanted captured. They took the time to drive around the small town of Bennington with us to scout out potential photo sites - which helped ease our minds well before the big wedding day. On the day of the wedding Megan and Jacob were total pros! They were completely receptive to our needs and seemed genuinely excited to be a part of our big day. They were involved but never in the way and were always right there if there was something we wanted them to capture. We received our preview 48 hours after the wedding and as soon as we saw the first picture we knew we had made the perfect choice. They were absolutely stunning & brought happy tears to our eyes. We immediately shared the preview with all of our wedding guests and they all raved about how awesome Megan and Jacob were the day of and the pictures they took! They struck a perfect balance of shooting us, the guests, the venue and capturing the overall energy and excitement of our special day.   I wish I could give Megan and Jacob six stars. Their work is absolute perfection: not only are they incredibly technically skilled (this was a major factor for me, as I didn't want our photos to look dated in five years, and also something that's incredibly difficult to come by nowadays), they have an amazing eye for those heartwarming emotional moments that will bring tears to your eyes even in the distant future, and on top of that they are some of the nicest and most professional people you will ever meet.
  
  When I reached out to Hannah Weddings, I had absolutely no backup plan. I knew that I couldn't see anyone else capturing our special day but them, and fortunately it all worked out. We got our previews back just three days after the wedding, and they were breathtaking, even better than I ever could have hoped.
  
  I strongly recommend them to anyone searching for a photographer, and make sure to reach out well in advance, since they have been super busy in the 2014 season and will be even busier in the coming years. In my humble opinion they are without a doubt the best wedding photographers in VT, and we are blessed to have had the chance to work with Hannah Weddings.

  Hannah Weddings is the best photographer team that I have ever seen. I was 110% satisfied. The colors of their photos are amazingly vibrant, they made sure we were completely happy, and they delivered in a very timely manner after the wedding. My brother attended our wedding, and he was so impressed that he offered much more money for them to cancel their previous plans and photograph for his wedding. The photographers had prior plans that could not be cancelled, but they were very kind when they declined. But my brother was so impressed, he would have paid any amount of money for them. The photographer team works very hard, and they tried to get all my requested shots in. I would recommend them for any bride. The only thing that truly lasts after your wedding is the photos. The cake will get eaten, the dress will get dirty and torn (as mine did), and the flowers will wilt. But you will always have the photos. We will hire them as we start our small family and will be needing family portraits as well. They will be our photographers for life!

Between Jacob's friendly personality on the phone and viewing albums of his work from weddings he shot at our venue, it was a no brainer to go with him for our special day! Jacob was delightful to work with from the very beginning. He was responsive in getting back to me either through a phone call or email. He is a super nice guy who is laid back and will do anything to make his clients happy. For people who could be a little camera shy he certainly makes you feel comfortable at all times. I am super picky about photography and I often look for a certain style. Jacob exceeded my expectations and more with his work. It's beautiful, authentic and creative! Hannah Photography is an excellent choice!
