James Han, his wife, and his assistant photographer were great and we couldn’t have asked for better. They were organized, professional, communicative, and very personable. Both of us are pretty awkward in photo shoots, but James made it easy in setting up our scenes and poses. He was also great in guiding the larger group shoots which led to some hilariously memorable photos with our groomsmen and bridesmaids. I don’t know if every family has someone who thinks they know the photographer’s job better than the photographer, but in our case James responded very graciously and kindly, which especially impressed us. His team was easy to work with even amidst adjustments due to weather and covid. Another great impression... -

We had hired Joanne and James a year ago for our engagement shoot and this year for our wedding. They were professional and made the entire process easy. My fiance/husband and I are awkward when it comes to take pictures but they made us look natural and they came out beautifully. We are excited to see our wedding photos and look forward to using them for our future baby pictures. -

James and Joanne are amazing. So far we have only received our sneak peek photos but they were incredible and so much better than anything I ever expected and I am so excited to get the rest of our photos. They did a great job of working with our bridal party to get the shots they needed while keeping everyone organized. We let them take the lead on what photos to take and I loved every idea that they had. They are absolutely wonderful! -

Beautiful engagement and wedding photos!
Hanz Photography has been exceptional from the start of our interactions with them. They are extremely responsive over email and very easy to schedule with. They have a lot of great ideas and suggestions for photo ideas and locations (including any limitations/restrictions with certain photo locations), made us feel comfortable during photoshoots, and did an excellent job directing shots. Our engagement and wedding photos were absolutely beautiful! James has an incredible artistic eye for creating great compositions. I highly recommend Hanz Photography for your event photography needs! -

Top notch quality in every sense of the word.
Working with James and Joanne was all around the best experience a bride could ask for. My husband and I got the wedding package that included an engagement shoot (highly recommend) And I was nervous to have my photos taken professionally for the first time. But right away, they put me and my then fiancé at ease. They have a great sense of humor and a calming demeanor, and gave good direction and of course - the pictures were amazing!! On my wedding day, they were able to capture everything and more. James and Joanna are ABSOLUTE GEMS. Book them, book them now! Outside of their outstanding talent for taking pictures, they're truly incredibly sweet and genuine people. My husband and I couldn't feel more blessed to have found them and we appreciate all of the hard work they did for us! -

He knew to take command when we were posing for photos and to disappear into the background during the ceremony and whenever we were busy. Joanne is the organizer who keeps us on track and professionally responds to our requests. She also took photos of the wedding from angles and positions that James couldn't get to.
