  A Dream Come True!

  Having the string quartet at our wedding was a dream come true! My husband and I chose songs from their expansive repertoire for the ceremony, and Allegra put together the perfect program for our cocktail hour. Allegra was very responsive and easy to work with. We couldn’t be happier!

  Harbor String Quartet did an amazing job performing at our wedding! We had a morning wedding with a brunch reception and did not have dancing or a DJ. So Harbor String Quartet performed both for the ceremony and the reception. They put together a wonderful playlist that included some songs we selected from their expansive repertoire. Allegra was a pleasure to work with, and it was very easy to get in touch with her. The music was absolutely beautiful, and our guests really enjoyed the song selections.

  The Harbor String Quartet was amazing! They performed beautifully at our wedding and made the day so special! They even took a few requests for our reception and played the Star Wars Ceremony music (which our friend recorded and showed us after the wedding because we were off taking pictures). The quartet did such a great job I would recommend them to anyone!

  Allegra Havens and Harbor String Quartet provided an excellent stringed music performance for our 30 minute wedding ceremony on May 30th, 2015. They were absolute professionals, patient, and adaptable to our 15+ music selections which included pop tunes and Christian themed pieces. The group's playing of The Prayer during the group prayer segment of our wedding ceremony added a wonderfully beautiful ineffable element of emotional sentiment. We knew of their reputation at first by a friend's suggestion then we visited with them at a Winter 2015 wedding expo, and their website. We were very pleased with their timely and thorough communication. We highly recommend them for a superb musical flavor at your event.

  We used the trio and were delighted with them. We trusted them to make choices and they were spot on. We had to start a little late and the music helped everyone enjoy a brief delay.

  Allegra and the Harbor Strings Quartet are a top notch professional string quartet. Their musicianship is second to none. They added the perfect musical touches to the most amazing day of our lives! They have clearly achieved a level of professional musical mastery that is uncommon today. I can't imagine our wedding without their talent!

  We would absolutely recommend Harbor String Quartet for any bride and groom looking for beautiful live music on their wedding day. For our ceremony, we had an eclectic array of songs in mind ranging from classical to contemporary and we were so fortunate to have worked with this group as they were comfortable and happy to play every song we requested. They were incredibly professional and easy to correspond with leading up to the big day. Allegra is a joy to work with and the day-of performance was absolutely breathtaking. You’ll be hard pressed to find a more talented group for your wedding day!

  Everyone that I have spoken to have had nothing but praise for the music at my daughter's wedding. I had friends and co-workers who arrived early so they could listen to the music as long as they could. They sounded amazing playing the songs that we had picked out for entrance songs for parents, bridesmaids and the bride entrance along with the processional.

  The Harbor String Quartet did such a beautiful job on our wedding day. They provided music pre-ceremony, ceremony and post-ceremony. I am still getting compliments from my guests. They were responsive the entire time and got back to me in such a timely manner whenever I had a question. They actually learned a few special songs for us that we requested for prelude music as well. Allegra was so easy to deal with and definitely was one vendor that lowered my stress level planning the wedding :) Not to mention, they do such a beautiful job with their music. I highly recommend the Harbor String Quartet. It was a beautiful addition to our day and they are a joy to work with.

  We had the Harbor Trio play at our wedding ceremony, and the music really was gorgeous and elegant. Just working from the Trio's substantial repertoire list, we were able to select great pieces for everything from the prelude to the recessional. Allegra was very responsive over email and made sure all the details were taken care of.

  The Harbor String Quartet provided ceremony music for our wedding, and also played for the happy hour prior to our reception. The musicians were gracious and professional, and many of my guests commented that their performance was an elegant addition to an already classy affair. Highly recommend them!
