  Hedi far exceeded my expectations for a day-of wedding planner. I would HIGHLY recommend her services to anyone who is looking for a likable, reliable, and professional wedding coordinator. She was consistently responsive, flexible, and more than willing to help with all of our needs. Knowing that Hedi had everything under control allowed me to truly relax and enjoy my wedding day, from start to finish. Her services were worth every penny!! She is cute and cheerful, and at the same time firm and capable of getting any job done or solving any issues that pop up. Contact her for an initial meeting to talk about your needs and wedding vision and the services she offers...you will love her!

  Hedi was the absolute best thing that could have happened to our wedding. Along with all of the help and guidance she gave us through the planning process, she helped the day of go absolutely seamless. As per what I saw and experienced, nothing, even the smallest detail, did not go wrong that day—it was absolutely perfect!!! People kept on asking how I dealt with stuff going wrong, but there was literally nothing!!! Although, right as Hedi and I began working together, we had the our hired flower/decor company going out of business… that was one of the hardest obstacles with our wedding being only 3 months away. Hedi quickly found us another company and helped us take care of it ASAP. Connor, my family and I could not have been happier with Hedi and Harper Events. By the end of this, I was even sad that our planning and constant communication came to an end! ALL of the money is worth it to hire Harper events -- you will be so happy and pleased you did!!!!

  Let me start off by saying I heard more than once that my daughters wedding from start to finish was PERFECT! Even though it was taking place 600+ miles from where I, MOB, currently lived. My daughter interviewed Hedi with Harper Events. Before she was barely out of the interview she said "I Love Her and I think she would be perfect for us". It was important to my daughter that she found a planner that not only had been a bride but was willing to work with our budget. Many "planners" have not actually been brides yet! Suffice it to say several other "big name planners" in Houston would not really even talk to her about her wedding unless we increased our budget by $10,000. Hedi never had any issue with where we were financially and she truly wanted to make my daughters dreams come true. Hedi not only paved the way for my sweet daughter with setting up and attending interviews with wonderful yet more affordable vendors. Hedi helped point out the important things and where we would get the most impact for our budget. With her working locally I did not have to travel to Houston as many times, yes saving us money! The work she did locating vendors and negotiating contracts, added to the travel expense savings for us, actually paid for her fee in cost savings! As distance proved somewhat difficult Hedi had no problem face timing, videoing and taking pictures to send me if I could not be there. Thank you Hedi for not only making my daughters dreams come true but becoming part of our extended family! We miss you!

  Hedi of Harper Events was FABULOUS! My younger daughter, the maid of honor, called Hedi a ROCK STAR! Hedi listened attentively to the bride's desires and dreams for her wedding, and guided us accordingly. She gave her honest input, but always allowed us the freedom to choose what worked best for us. The day of the wedding, Hedi made my day as the mother of the bride, completely stress free. This is what I wanted...someone to tell me what to do and just enjoy the event. Hedi found me before each event - loading the busses, first dance, cutting of the cake, etc. - to let me know what was about to happen so my husband and I would miss nothing. We were able to just enjoy each moment without worrying about anything! Hedi and her assistant, Heidi, were extremely professional and kind. When the wedding was over, I had a bell cart waiting for me with gifts, cards, bags, all our belongings among other things ready for me to leave the reception. I highly recommend Hedi and will definitely use her again with my next daughter!!!

  We had the best time working with Hedi and her team. We truly cannot say enough good things about her. We had the best time planning our dream wedding with Hedi. She made every detail that we had envisioned happen. She gave us the best advice and led us to a great team of photographers, videographers, decorators, hair and makeup, and everyone else! We truly could not have made our visions of our wedding happen without her.

  Fairytales do come true thanks to Hedi and Harper Events!!!! I will always love Hedi for her incredible attention to detail and professional work. Hedi brings the most incredible consultants to your event! We never had one problem. Hedi made our wedding a perfect, glorious event. She is always available, knowledgeable, professional, creative and an amazing friend to have on your team. We cannot ever thank Harper Events enough for making all of our dreams come true! Hedi takes all the stress out of the most stressful event in your life. And, puts you totally at ease. Hedi has a fantastic sense of business, which is part of any event, and manages the number and money part professionally and to the last digit. We never had to worry about the bottom line or staying in our budget. Hedi kept us in line as well as the consultants. I don't know how we would have done this without her. She saved us money, sanity, and gave us our dream come true.

  Hedi is seriously the most amazing wedding planner ever!! She is super organized, prepared, sweet, and had amazing taste! All of my bridesmaids couldn't stop talking about how on top of everything Hedi was! She's always on your side and can help translate your idea to the vendors! She is seriously amazing!! I would recommend her to anyone that asked for a recommendation! I can't say enough amazing things about Hedi!!

  Hedi is not only an amazing wedding planner with impeccable taste, but she's also a friend! Weddings are stressful and Hedi did an amazing job calming me down, making sure my ideas were heard, and being the intermediary! She was able to gracefully coordinate my wedding at the Houston Museum of Natural Science and made it look effortless! She knows good vendors and she worked with all of them to create the most perfect wedding! I'm going to recommend her every time one of my friends gets engaged!

  Hedi was very very helpful through our whole wedding experience. She was always quick to respond to a phone call or text and made sure everything ran perfectly smoothly on the day of the wedding. She also respected all of my requests and and followed through with them thoroughly. We were so thankful for her and her ability to make our special day perfect!

  Hedi Shankleton of Harper Events is a fabulous planner!!! I met with other planners before her that seemed a little unnatural but Hedi is like your best girlfriend who also happens to be a complete rockstar at coordinating!!! She helped to calm my nerves the day of, answered all my questions, provided honest opinions and made sure to kick some vendor butt when needed. I would consider her one of my MUST-hire vendors!!!! She also was MUCH more reasonable with pricing than the other planners I consulted and all in all was one of the best people I worked with in planning my wedding- WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!! She will make your wedding a success!!

Hedi and her team took the planning and day of execution stress away; so that I could enjoy the moment as the bride. My schedule is really hard, I travel four days a week, but Hedi negotiated with vendors to meet us on days that they normally could not and she helped drive decisions needed while I was on the road. Hedi's humor can instantly calm down a mad bride (when my dress had a small spot on it) and her experience helped prepare me for areas I never knew could occur. Hedi's impeccable taste, army of vendors (aka Scott, John, Gina, Kristen) and her staff (kate) makes her the ONLY choice for an event planner. This will not be the last I see of Hedi, as I explained she will be throwing every party that Tim and I have in the future. Thank you for the most beautiful wedding!! #timlovespaula

  I absolutely LOVE Hedi. She's amazing, and she knows how to deal with vendors in an assertive but extremely professional way. She knows this business inside and out and has amazing insight into all aspects of the planning process. She's essentially the sister you never had who will tell you the truth but not in a way to make you feel badly.

  Hedi was such a great help with everything! My mom and I wanted to do a lot of the decision-making ourselves, so Hedi was great with giving us suggestions for vendors in the price range and style we were looking for, going with us to meetings, coordinating with them for the wedding day, etc. The big day went so smoothly, we couldn't have done it without her!

  At the start of our wedding planning, I remember being so nervous about finding the right planner. I am so glad I found Hedi/Harper Events. From the very beginning of the planning process to the last minutes of the reception, Hedi and her team were there for anything and everything. Hedi was so thorough and knowledgeable in every detail; she's amazing! I have no idea what I would have done without Hedi and her team on the wedding day. They made the entire day seem like a breeze and I am so thankful that I got to actually enjoy the moment and not have to worry about anything. We are forever grateful for all of the dedication and hard work that went into creating one of the most memorable days of our lives. Thank you Harper Events!!!
