  Beautiful music for ceremony and cocktail hour

  The band was just perfect. Roger was easy to communicate with and it ended up being everything we wanted. They really contributed to the magic of our night.

  Perfect wedding sounds

  We just had our wedding last weekend and we are incredibly pleased with the performance by Harrison Jazz Ensemble. Roger was great to work with and their large repertoire made it easy to tailor the style to fit our night. I actually stepped back a few times during our reception to appreciate the fact we had such a great band. Several of our guests also commented on how much they enjoyed the trio. Highly recommend them to make a great evening better.

  I would definitely recommend the Harrison Jazz Ensemble as an alternative pick to a DJ if you want a classic evening with classic music. Mr. Harrison is very professional and was very attentive to what we wanted the evening to look & sound like. All of the guests said how amazing they were and had a great evening! He was also able to personalize the evening to us because my husband's family is from Louisiana and the band was able to incorporate the Second line that is traditional to New Orleans' weddings! It was an amazing evening & couldn't have happened without this band!! & I did shop around for different bands but Mr. Harrison was the most flexible in price & in the selection we were looking for! I would totally recommend them!

  We booked a trio (piano, bass, drums) to play for 5 hours at our wedding in the Carondelet House (downtown LA). We requested upbeat jazz and Latin jazz songs, mostly instrumental. The band arrived on time and set up in the first location.
  
  The band was personable and accommodating. They are extremely skilled jazz musicians who are very familiar with jazz standards, but can also improvise effortlessly. The piano player had a great blues musician's voice and delivered beautiful takes on Ray Charles and Louis Armstrong songs.
  
  The band moved to a second area at the venue efficiently, and provided music during reception and dancing. The guests, including several musicians, spoke very highly of the band. They were professional, affable, and reasonably priced.
  
  We would recommend them wholeheartedly.

  Roger was such a pleasure to work with from the first moment we contacted him. He was very flexible with us to help us achieve our vision for the ceremony and reception. The music is really what made the night. He did such a wonderful job! Best decision we made was to have Harrison Jazz Ensemble play at the wedding. Highly recommend!

  Roger and his team of musicians provided an exceptional ambiance for our evening museum wedding. We were looking for classy background music that kept the evening moving without a big dance party. We received many comments throughout the night about how much the guests loved the jazz ensemble. Roger was able to emcee necessary portions of our evening (i.e. first dances, speeches) in a light manner. Don't expect a deejay or a crowd-enhancer - that's not the Harrison Ensemble's gig or vibe. But they were perfect for our occasion if you're looking for an elegant, classy evening! His rate is affordable and fair for the service.
