    Such a beautiful event space with great staff!

    The venue, staff and our entire experience here was fantastic! We had no issues while planning our event here and everything we wanted was accommodated by the great staff! We look forward to possibly having another event here in the future!

    Dream Wedding

    Just had my wedding at Hart & Main a month ago! It’s an absolutely gorgeous venue, perfectly situated in a walkable, lively neighborhood with a lovely boutique hotel directly across the street to accommodate guests!

    The venue has beautiful on site bridal and groom suites, roof top, bars, full kitchen, ample space. The staff was great to work with, very accommodating and fair.

    Also, so many great places for onsite photos.

    My dream venue. My dream wedding! Could not recommend this place more!

    The wedding venue SoCal needed!

    Hart & Main was the wedding venue that Southern California needed. The team spared no detail and believe us, they thought of EVERYTHING. The venue is gorgeous and you will not need for anything once you arrive for the day. We held our ceremony and reception at the venue and even had both of our wedding parties get ready in the suites. The plant wall with built in wood paneling means that we did not need additional decor for our ceremony or reception. That meant that we could focus on budget on the things that mattered most to us. There are so many built-in photo ops, from the mural outside to water feature to the geo wall to the adorable Main Street just outside. We hired 2 HMU artist, but could have had double that and the private bathrooms meant that everyone could spend the entire day in the suites, if needed. The commercial kitchen meant that our caterer had everything they needed on site. There is even space for a food or dessert truck, if you go that route. Mike, the head bartender, devised a custom specialty cocktail and mocktail for us, with fresh ingredients and custom syrups. That's unheard of with other LA bar services. The event coordination partner (Tricia Dahlgren) is also A+. Our coordinator was Melissa and she was a complete boss! We signed our venue contract with Hart & Main, site unseen. It was April 2022 and they weren't even finished with the interior. But the renderings were incredible and there was such a distinct vision in the eyes of the team that you knew that they were going to pull it off. To say that they outdid themselves is the understatement of the century. I cannot recommend H&M enough. Just put it on your list of venues to tour. You'll be just as charmed as we were!

    A wonderful experience all around!

    Hart & Main was the perfect venue to hold our senior prom. The staff was more than accomodating, both behind the scenes and the day of, with their hands-on assistance, and were all so easy to work with. The vibe is a mix of rustic and mid-century, and the twinkle lights and succulent walls add an extra element of beauty. The Italian dinner buffet was prepared on site in their commerical kitchen and couldn't have been more delicious. The added touch of the lawn game entertainment was a highlight for our high school seniors. They were so impressed and we look forward to continuing this tradition each year at Hart & Main. Thank you!!

    A Magical Day

    We booked Hart and Main in February 2022 for our April 2, 2023 wedding before construction had even begun! There are many reasons why this venue was our top and only choice. First the staff was extremely warm and welcoming from the first time we met at the Bellisma Bridal show. Jordan and Lisa were the first people we met and answered all of our questions and concerns. As we would visit weekly to see construction updates, we were able to meet the rest of the staff and they were just as warm and welcoming. Another reason we chose Hart and Main is because we were able to have the venue for 24 hours so we could get ready there without being rushed and we pick the time for our ceremony and the length of the reception. One of the many perks of Hart and Main is that we could have an outdoor ceremony and a partial indoor reception. We fell in love with the renderings of the living green wall during construction and were married in front of it two weeks ago. Mike and the bar staff were super accommodating with our requests for additional items and made a mean Mai Tai. Hart and Main also makes a great location for photos because we were able to use the different aspects of the venue as well as William S. Hart Park which is across the street. If we ever have a major life event again, there is no question where we will go.

    Henna Party @ Hart & Main

    My sister & I can not thank Jordan and the team enough for their flexibility and help to host a Henna Event for my sisters wedding week at Hart & Main! The venue was incredible, the staff was so nice and all our guests raved about how beautiful the venue was. It was a great experience and 10/10 recommend booking them for an event!

    Nothing short of perfection

    I can't compliment the venue and the team enough after hosting our September 2022 wedding! My husband and I took a big leap of faith when we booked the venue based on renderings but are so glad we did!! Every detail was truly thought of in the build out of this amazing space. And above and beyond the beauty of Hart and Main, I can't thank the staff enough for ensuring our day was perfect and stress free. My parents complimented that aspect as well. They took care of everything so we really got to just enjoy the day with our friends and family....they even packed up all of our decor for us and loaded it in our cars so we could soak up every second of the party. Thank you again to the amazing Hart and Main team for helping us host an event we'll never forget!

    Amazing!

    Our favorite part about Hart & Main was that we really felt like we got the whole package in this one venue. We wanted to have an intimate wedding in a modern venue that was unique and not completely traditional. Mart & Main not only checked all these boxes, but also came with the most incredible staff. They went above and beyond to make sure the venue looked the exact way that we imagined and made sure the entire day ran perfectly. Not only did we have a wedding that looked the way we dreamed it would, but we also felt so supported on our big day! Because of this I felt completely stress free on our wedding day and was able to just enjoy the day instead of worrying about all the details.

    The most magical day!!

    I found Hart & Main online before they were even open in December 2021 for our September 2022 wedding. Going off of renderings, mood boards and talking with the staff, we took a leap of faith and decided to go with the new venue. BEST DECISION EVER! Not only did it turn out better than I could've ever imagined, but the staff was also helpful and encouraging every step of the way. Working with their in-house planner, Tricia, made my wedding planning so much easier. She is a true pro and her team will do EVERYTHING in their power to make sure you have the wedding of your dreams. From the bar manager to the property managers, you can tell that the people who run Hart & Main love what they do.

    After our wedding of about 100 people, every person came up to us to compliment the venue. It was so intimate and truly a gem in the Valley. Plus, the free parking lot + Lexen hotel across the street made it perfect for all of our out-of-town guests. My husband and I already talked about throwing a milestone anniversary party at Hart & Main too down the road — we loved it that much :)

    They have a lot of work to do

    Let me start off by saying this is a beautiful venue but they have a long ways to go. In the beginning my husband and I thought we found a great place and a brand new venue once it was time for our wedding. Looking back it seems like they were just trying to make a sale and made empty promises, where to start. We awaited to finally view the venue in person and once it did that's when it all started. Originally when we had our first venue meeting were told we would have access to the upstairs bar and that the venue would have staff. Once it was finally opened and after we signed our contract we were told if you have less than 100 guests the rooftop bar is an extra charge and that they were only providing staff for the ceremony flip. This resulted in a panic and having to hire staff only two months before our wedding. We also wanted an estimate of our open bar bill since we had our final guest count a month before the wedding and the bartender, Mike, kept refusing and told us that is something he gives us the week of the wedding. It resulted in us having to contact Jordan multiple times and she was finally able to give us an estimate, which made my husband I more upset because they wanted to give us a $7,000 bill the week of our wedding?!!! We had open bar until 10pm the night of our wedding and I had about 15 people come to my husband and I telling us how rude Mike was and that they were charging for drinks at 9:45pm! Another problem we had was with the sonos speakers, it is stated in our contract that we had access to them but apparently you only get access to them in the bridal and groom suite. My catering also had problems with them, when they were told they could not use the fryer in the kitchen. Which led to my caterer questioning them because they had oil in their fryer when they went to visit the venue! The venue had a Halloween night the week before and apparently it was okay for them to make use of the fryer but we couldn't. We had to fight back a little and we were finally able to have access to the fryer. This overall resulted in my husband and I having the most stressful and worst wedding experience. I also had vendors who also worked with the venue and they told me their other clients were having similar problems with Hart & Main as well. They seem to do everything in their best interest and not in the best interest of the couple. They would only recommend vendors they partner with which now looking back was a big red flag. I also had a lot of back and forth with my planner and the venue itself, they didn't seem to communicate with her well. My wedding was so fun and beautiful but because my husband, my planner, and I made sure of it. I unfortunately would not recommend Hart & Main. They were a complete headache to work with and I don't think it was worth it. I understand that this is a new venue but there shouldn't have been this many problems

    We feel terrible that you feel this way, Desiree. It’s certainly not how we intended to make you feel. I do appreciate the comments, even if they are tough to read. There is a lot here and I’ll try to unpack the bigger points; Some are warranted and others I’ll need to respectfully challenge. You were one of the early bookings (August 2021) just about 2 months after we began construction. We were brand new and figuring ourselves out. We did our best to communicate that reality to prospective clients, and most couples that booked us during the construction period understood that there was an element of uncertainty. We did our best to accommodate those that expressed frustrations, within reason, feeling so grateful that they took a chance on us. I wish you would have asked to elevate the conversation, as it might have helped avoid some of your frustrations or given us a chance to show you that we do care about our clients AND our venue. Below are some thoughts regarding some of your specific grievances:

    1) They were only providing staff for the ceremony flip. –--- [HM} This provision is in our contract, but we or the planner could have done a better job reminding you earlier. It’s also one of the reasons we provide preferred caterers as most offer staff to serve and bus the tables during food service.

    2) Another problem we had was with the sonos speakers, it is stated in our contract that we had access to them but apparently you only get access to them in the bridal and groom suite. –--- [HM} Clients are welcome to use the Sonos speakers throughout the property. That said, since the property in not in an area where fiber internet is available, we recommend that clients not use it for important portions of their event in case it acts up. Seems like we could have communicated this more clearly to you.

    3) We also wanted an estimate of our open bar bill since we had our final guest count a month before the wedding and the bartender, Mike, kept refusing and told us that is something he gives us the week of the wedding. –--- [HM} I think it’s important to clarify that Mike did not refuse to give you an estimate, but he did say that he wouldn’t accept payment for the bar a month in advance. Guest counts often change slightly in the last couple weeks, and we’d prefer not to have to do a second charge/credit to reconcile the amount. I’d also note that bar package pricing sheets are provided twice, once with the welcome package and again closer to the event date when Mike seeks to customize your beverage program. For your package, the pricing was per person, which made it straightforward in determining an estimated bar cost.

    4) We had open bar until 10pm the night of our wedding and I had about 15 people come to my husband and I telling us how rude Mike was and that they were charging for drinks at 9:45pm –--- [HM} I’m sorry if Mike came off rude to any of your guests. To clarify, the hosted bar contract is for a 4-hour period. Your wedding timeline (provided to us by your planner) stated that cocktail hour would begin at 6pm, however, your ceremony ended at 5:45pm, which is why Mike communicated that the hosted bar ended at 9:45pm. You elected to transition to a cash bar after the hosted bar period. We recommend going to an “on consumption” bar after the hosted period, but we give clients the ability to go to cash to help them manage their budget.

    5) My catering also had problems with them, when they were told they could not use the fryer in the kitchen. –---[HM} Our catering rules state that outside caterers are not allowed to use the fryer (for many reasons). Your caterer was informed a couple times prior to the event. He decided to use the fryer anyway, which was disappointing. Ultimately, the venue staff chose to let him continue using the fryer so long as he took the spent oil away and cleaned the fryer, which he agreed to do. Unfortunately, he left the oil in the fryer and didn’t clean it at the end of the night.

    While I’m not sure what you mean by a “big red flag” that we have preferred vendors, I can tell you that we don’t profit from any of them. They are on the list because they are great at what they do, they are easy to work with, and they respect our property and our staff.

    Above all, I am relieved and excited that you had a fun and beautiful wedding. And I do appreciate your compliments on the aesthetic of the property.
