Amazing wedding video!
Todd and his team were such a pleasure to work with. Todd was very responsive in communicating with us pre/post wedding and ensuring he incorporated everything we requested. On the day of our wedding, the team was unnoticeable and they managed to perfectly capture all our beautiful moments throughout the day. We are in love and impressed with how the video turned out and reliving our wedding day over and over again brings us so much joy. The video that Todd produced was very well thought out. The music, voice overs, and transitions were smooth and seamless, and it told the perfect story from getting ready to our reception. We really appreciate Todd going the extra mile to ensure we received our video as soon as possible. We would definitely recommend Todd and his team for your wedding! Our video was one of the best investments we made!Todd and his team were such a pleasure to work with. Hawaii Video Memories - Ryssa, did an amazing job. She captured everything and more from our ceremony and turned into the most treasured 4 minute highlight video we have. The music, the vows all that it was moved us. Our family have praised her work and execution of the video. I would HIGHLY recommend using Ryssa from HVM for your videographer needs. Todd did an amazing job filming and creating a beautiful short film for our wedding! He is very professional and makes the experience so much fun while also being unobtrusive. The final product was so well done and included all aspects of the wedding that I wanted . The transitions and music accompanied the video perfectly. Hawaii Video Memories is a great choice if you want high quality video footage of your special day! Todd and his partner were phenomenal videographers. Not only did they capture great footage, but they were amazing professionals throughout the entire day. They made us feel at ease and suggested great poses and actions that ended up looking great on film. They also used real high quality cameras and accessories to capture amazing images. Finally, the video edits they made and set to music were perfect. They get everyone emotional and will be awesome to show people at our stateside reception.

When my husband and I were looking for a videographer to film our big day at the Montage Kapalua Bay, Maui, we wanted someone who could capture and let us relive our wedding day in its truest form. From the hues/tones and filtering of the video, to the pace and music used to mirror the energy of the day, HVM was spot on and did an amazing job with the editing. Watching the video felt so true to how we remember our wedding day. The footage itself was also excellent - high quality shots with the HD camera as well as with the drone (the drone did an amazing job capturing the beauty of the landscape). We also asked Todd to use his 8mm camera to capture parts of the day. The footage from that camera provided unique, fun, playful, but most importantly, authentic shots of the day which makes us feel even more nostalgic when we rewatch our film. In terms of professionalism, Todd and his team are the best. Before the wedding, Todd took the time to meet with us and listen to what we were envisioning. The day of the wedding went off without a hitch and we barely even noticed filming was going on. Todd and his team were also great during post-production and didn't stop working until we were completely satisfied. We got married on December 8th at The Montage in Kapalua and cannot say enough wonderful things about Hawaii Video Memories. During the planning process they responded quickly to all of my emails and sent us a detailed questionnaire in order to get to know us better.
During the ceremony Todd and Ryssa captured multiple angles and worked hand in hand with our photographer to capture all of the special moments while not getting in each other's way. We also decided to include a drone which all of our guests were talking about for days :). The video footage from the drone really added that unique element that my fiance and I were looking for. Highly recommend including that service.
At the reception they of course captured all of the special moments (grand entrance, first dance, parent dances, toasts, etc). They moved around the room in a manner that made it as if they almost weren't even there which I think is important because no one wants a camera right in their face or blocking other peoples views. Like a lot of weddings, we were behind on our timeline by about an hour. My wife and I both thought that the way they handled this was first class. Instead of interrupting us to tell us that essentially our time was up they just went with the flow of everything and made it all seamless.
As part of my surprise to my now wife I had hired one of her favorite musicians to sing our first dance. We forgot to ask our DJ to record the song so I emailed Todd and asked if by chance he had recorded the audio from the first dance...to which he quickly responded that he had :). He emailed me the audio track which my wife and I will definitely enjoy for many years to come.
Overall, Todd and his team do an outstanding job. They are professional, fun, easy going, very creative, and produce a high quality product. My wedding was in October, it was a last minute decision to hire HVM due to the fact my grandparents got ill and could not make the flight. We wanted something we could send back home to them so they felt like they were there. I had no idea what to expect when my husband(fiancé at the time) insist we get the drone. On the day of my wedding HVM was so professional. Everyone kept commenting on how they felt this wedding was high end due to the drones flying around. That made us laugh and feel HVM was truly capturing every moment of our wedding. When we received our video, we were thrilled with the results. Uncle joe could NOT have captured our day on his iPhone the way they did! I suggest to all couples getting married to hire HVM because your day goes by so fast and really is a blur! It was a nice treat for my husband and I to be able to see the wedding video from our guest eyes and all the effort of our special day come together. We went back and forth on having a videographer but our wedding planner recommended Hawaii Video Memories and we're so happy we chose them! Ryssa and Todd were friendly, professional and most importantly made us feel very comfortable. They captured so many great moments that I would have missed otherwise. I sent a list of song ideas and they did a wonderful job pairing them with different parts of the day. The quality is incredible and we LOVE how our movie turned out. Todd was responsive via email and phone and easy to work with. The officiant made some comments that we wanted edited out and he assured us that he would make sure the final video would not include these comments. I can't thank him enough for this. He even captured some moments that not everyone was able to see! He was everywhere but never in the way. Todd and our video are awesome. Not only was he fun on the day of our wedding, but our video shows our day beautifully! Additionally he rushed the video to us two and a half weeks earlier than planned, so we could show it at our reception back home in Minnesota. This company was amazing during our wedding day. They went above and beyond for us after the wedding also as they rushed to finish our video in time for our reception and when the video did not arrive in the mail on time, they emailed us a copy to play at our reception. I used Hawaii Video Memories for Videography for my Maui Wedding in November '11. I could not have been more pleased! Its tough finding vendors when it is a destination wedding. You don't have the opportunity to meet with them one on one and trust that their portfolio is 100% accurate of the product that they produce. When I hired Hawaii Video Memories they were in constant contact with me up until my big day. In fact the specific videographer, Ryssa, that was to video our wedding emailed me personally to ask me many questions to get to know our style. It made me feel good about our decision because she took pride in each of her clients to get to know us individually.
On our wedding day Ryssa was an absolute pleasue. She asked me to pretend that she wasn't there so that I could focus on my day and not what was being captured. It was hard because she was so sweet!
To produce the wedding video this takes about 6 months but let me tell you they are COMPLETELY worth the wait! My wedding video is that of a Classic Hollywood movie. It was brilliantly put together and is more like art than a wedding DVD. I have seen many wedding videos and they are so run of the mill, Hawaii Video Memories creates art! I have never seen anything like it. We sat in awe watching it. They definitely captured more than I ever thought possible. It was like watching a love story unfold and at the end I realized it was my own. Kudos for the BEST Videography we have EVER seen. Hawaii Video Memories have preserved more than a memory; they have captured an essence of the day; something that is so hard to do on film. We relive the moment each time we view it. Thank you HVM…you gave us more than we asked for!!

I would HIGHLY recommend Hawaii Video Memories! First of all, Todd was a pleasure to work with. He was very nice, incredibly professional, and clearly has a great eye for capturing an event. I knew the day of our wedding that our video would be something truly special. But when it arrived in the mail and we popped it in to watch...I literally cried tears of joy! The video is amazing. Anyone who was at the wedding who has seen the video has said the same thing: "Where was he?!?!?" Because the day of the event...he was almost invisible. We were introduced to HVM by our wedding planner and we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE how our wedding video turned out! Ryssa was there to capture all of our special moments and she was an absolute gem to work with. We couldn't ask for a better group of individuals to come together and make our wedding so memorable.
The HVM team was inviting, professional, detailed, articulate and possess such a rare talent. We've seen wedding videos of friends and acquaintances and the outcome/quality is unmatched. The team listened and incorporated our ideas on music and the feel we wanted the video to relay and it was absolute perfection. I have to admit that the husband and I are very particular and hold everyone to a very high standard and HVM delivered.

We hired HVM very last minute to do our wedding ceremony. They were quick to respond and accommodate our late request. Todd was very professional on the day of the event and we hardly even noticed his presence. The cost isn't cheap but nothing about getting married on Maui is. HVM were our photographers. Of course we only had a couple of choices from our hotel's vendor list but even if they weren't on the list, we would've requested them.
HVM has some of the most beautiful videos of weddings on Maui. I believe they surpass all the other videographers we checked. They were completely understanding of what we wanted and were friendly to work with. Never in your face or in the way.HVM were our photographers.
