  Blooming Brilliant

  Kelsey and Gabrielle's attention to detail was evident from the get-go; the mood board they created perfectly captured my vision. They took the time to truly listen to my inspirations and color preferences, resulting in stunning floral arrangements that felt unique to just us. The results were unfussy yet intentional, exactly what I wanted. Using fresh flowers in-season not only ensured top-notch quality but fit in so nicely with our venue. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to add a touch of floral magic to their wedding day!

  Beautiful flowers and incredible experience

  We loved working with Heart & Soil for our wedding! Kelsey, Gabrielle, and team were super organized and professional leading up to the day and checked in frequently regarding planning details. On the day of the florals perfectly matched our vision and fit in seamlessly to the venue. Couldn't have been happier with our experience and the final product that helped make our day so special!

  Wow, just wow

  I’m pretty sure conventional wisdom would not necessarily say you need to hire a florist 1.5 years in advance of your wedding. However, when I saw Kelsey’s work on Instagram 1.5 years ago, I was blown away. It was one of the main reasons we decided to book our venue—an admittedly already stunning location in its own right—which we had seen Kelsey and her team transform into the perfect, airy summer dream for a wedding a few years ago. So we booked her immediately, because as my sister the photo producer says— *always* hire the reference. And I cannot begin to describe how obsessed—beyond obsessed, elated, blown out of the freaking water—my now husband (ah!!) and I were when we walked into our reception room (yesterday—an immediate review was warranted). Kelsey and team had NAILED our vision down to every tiny detail. I am an exceedingly detail-oriented person with exceedingly high expectations, and I could never have fathomed how someone could have surpassed all of my wildest dreams like that, but somehow Kelsey did. If you don’t think floral can make or break the feel, vibe, look of your wedding, well, a) you’re wrong, but b) Kelsey will absolutely make you a believer. There are your typical, generic tall ballroom centerpiece type of florists, and then there’s Heart and Soil—where restraint, structure, shape, and space are as impactful as the flowers themselves. Truly one of a kind and so very worthy of being the first vendor you book, even before the trifecta of photo, video, and catering. Run. Don’t. Walk.

  Amazing seasonal, modern floral design

  Kelsey, Gabrielle, and the team at Heart and Soil truly made my wedding on August 13th come to life. From the start they were so professional, organized, and communicative. We had several meetings about design direction, and they worked hard to incorporate my requests (like my love for cosmos and dahlias, and my vision to have a more colorful design aesthetic than is usually seen). I was impressed by their commitment to sustainable floral design, including using seasonal flowers and lots of foliage. On top of the beautiful flowers, they provided many of the decor items that made the tablescapes really pop. Finally, Heart and Soil had this large abstract wall art installation that fit in so beautifully at our industrial venue. It was so eye catching and we received many compliments on it. If you can snag Heart and Soil for your wedding, don't hesitate!! 10/10!!

  Kelsey and her team are truly amazing!!

  With wedding planning during a pandemic, there was an added layer of stress due to juggling this as well as work, family and life obligations. I'm grateful that we had Kelsey as our florist for our wedding. When I met Kelsey, I knew I needed to have her as our florist. Her work is truly impeccable and honestly a work of art. I enjoyed the process of picking our florals for our wedding. Kelsey was so attentive and I love looking at our wedding photos. I also enjoyed the process too. The path of picking the flowers was really fun and on the day, it surpassed anything I had ever imagined. Her work is effortless, classy and just beautiful. I'm so grateful to have had her work as part of our day. Thank you Kelsey and your team for everything!!

  Heart & Soil

  Picking a florist was probably the most stressful part of planning a wedding for me. I originally had gone with someone else, but once Covid happened, they were radio silent. I messaged probably half a dozen florist before I met with Kelsey. She was an absolute dream to work with. I’m not a floral expert so I send her some ideas from Pinterest to work with and told her the type of flowers I liked. She sent over a moodboard to make sure it was what we wanted and it was so lovely. The day of the wedding, the arrangement were actually even better than I imagined. I’m so glad we went with Kelsey and her team! Thank you so much for everything!

  Choosing Kelsey to do the florals for our October wedding at Foxfire Mountainhouse was a no brainer. She helped bring our vision to reality effortlessly. She was kind, professional, and cared about our input. We knew she would do a phenomenal job, but honestly, even exceeded any expectations we had. She helped make our wedding beautiful and stress free. I can’t sing her praises enough!

  AMAZING!! Kelsey and her team were an absolute pleasure to work with from the start. I had my wedding at Crested Hen Farms in High Falls, NY. Working in the design/construction industry myself, Kelsey is a real professional and would recommend to anyone. Kelsey understood my vision and brought my dream to life the day of. She was detailed oriented with her mood boards that perfectly matched my style. She helped me work within my budget and helped design within that to make my vision come true - I couldn't be happier how everything turned out. Thank you Kelsey and the Heart & Soil team!!

  Kelsey and her team created our dream wedding. We could not have asked for anything else. She worked with us on our vision and understood our budget to create pure magic. Everything from the design process to the install in 100 degree heat went off without a hitch.

  Working with Kelsey and her team at Heart & Soil Flowers was everything we hoped for and more for our wedding decor. Heart & Soil was the first florist that caught our eye, and after shopping around, we finally came back to them. Kelsey was able to capture our vision for a minimal and eclectic yet modern, refined, and elegant aesthetic. We knew we didn't want "traditional" wedding decor, and we were so impressed by her talent to play with tradition while still delivering a timeless look. When everything came together on our wedding day, we were in utter awe and delight -- everyone thought the decor was beautiful yet reflected us as a couple, which speaks volumes of Kelsey's ability to capture us in her craft and art.
  
  Kelsey made the planning process a breeze -- accommodating trips into the city to meet, being very detail oriented in her design decks and emails, and keeping logistics simple and streamlined. Her prices were also one of the most competitive we found in the NYC area for full service weddings.

Before talking to Kelsey, I had been trying to figure out a look for our ceremony, researching photos online, etc. Meanwhile, Kelsey came up with a creative, unique solution for our ceremony arrangements that I had not seen anywhere! All of our guests were commenting on how beautiful and high quality our arrangements, bouquets and other flowers were! She previously worked with another florist team in the NYC area; I feel so lucky that she started her own business in the Hudson Valley!! Highly recommend!!

  We were SO pleased with Kelsey and the Heart and Soil Team for our wedding last month! We were initially planning on going with another vendor, but were very glad we did not and were fortunate enough to have found Heart and Soil!! The whole process leading up to the big day was well organized and thorough. There were multiple design rounds which were extremely helpful as I really had no vision for the florals going into it and would have been lost without her suggestions based on available seasonal flowers. On top of that, she is super talented and her artistry is truly exceptional. She was also willing to try and meet our expectations in regard to our intended budget. She knew our venue well and made recommendations too, but was never pushy or sales-y. On our wedding day, we received so many compliments about the flowers, even from some of our most discerning guests! It was apparent from the beginning of our work with Kelsey that we could place 100% confidence and trust in her services and abilities, and our expectations were exceeded on the day of!! The flower selections were stunning and the various arrangements were beautiful and absolutely stunning!! We cannot recommend her and the Heart and Soil Team enough! If you are looking for a unique vendor with outstanding service, talent, and creativity, go with Heart and Soil!

There were multiple design rounds which were extremely helpful as I really had no vision for the florals going into it and would have been lost without her suggestions based on available seasonal flowers. On top of that, she is super talented and her artistry is truly exceptional. She was also willing to try and meet our expectations in regard to our intended budget. She knew our venue well and made recommendations too, but was never pushy or sales-y. On our wedding day, we received so many compliments about the flowers, even from some of our most discerning guests! It was apparent from the beginning of our work with Kelsey that we could place 100% confidence and trust in her services and abilities, and our expectations were exceeded on the day of!! The flower selections were stunning and the various arrangements were beautiful and absolutely stunning!! We cannot recommend her and the Heart and Soil Team enough! If you are looking for a unique vendor with outstanding service, talent, and creativity, go with Heart and Soil!

  It exceeded my expectations by far!!!! The design was absolutely gorgeous. From the very first meeting, I felt a level of comfort and ease that a bride could only hope for. She took a few ideas I had and not only made them come to life, but made the whole event so much more beautiful. The arrangements made the whole day feel complete. Extremely happy with the overall experience, and would highly recommend.

  Kelsey and her team are artists. Every detail at our wedding that she touched was exquisite. She took all my thoughts and ideas and ran with them and she literally created a piece of modern art using flowers. Beyond that, she stepped in when my planner could not and was super helpful with the tablescape.
  I can not recommend her enough - I am still getting compliments on the flowers. You will not regret hiring her.
