From the moment my husband and I stepped onto Heartwood Acres, we knew we had found our wedding venue. The scenery is naturally appealing (the roses were in bloom the day of our wedding) and the barn renovations are a perfect blend of modern and rustic. It didn’t take much to enhance the venue’s beauty. Micah is a delight to work with and very helpful. Whether we had questions about the venue, or needed a restaurant recommendation, she was very knowledgeable and happy to help. Jonathan and I whole heartedly recommend using Heartwood Acres as a venue. We couldn’t have asked for a better setting to our big day.

We absolutely love Heartwood Acres. The converted barn is great for all different wedding styles; it was the perfect backdrop for our vintage boho wedding. All of their packages are reasonably priced. We booked the wedding weekend package, which was perfect for us. It allowed for us to have access to the venue for a good portion of Friday to start setting things up and to do our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, all day Saturday, and two hours on Sunday to come back and get anything that we left. They also have an offsite loft that can be rented out. It is only a 10-15 minute drive from the venue and was the perfect place for my girls and me to stay the night before and for my husband and I to stay on our wedding night! It's super trendy and were the perfect accommodations for a weekend stay.

And, Micah, the owner, is great! She was so easy going, accommodating, and really helpful throughout the whole planning process. She provided us with so many great resources and worked with our wedding coordinator to create a floor plan and timeline for the day. She and her team were also there on the day of to help set up, keep the flow of the day, and clean up. We would 10 out of 10 recommend Heartwood Acres!

My husband and I were married at Heartwood Acres on March 6, 2021 and it was our DREAM wedding day!! We wanted our wedding to be timeless, classic, elegant, and bright, and it was everything we hoped for and more. From the bridal suite and groom's lounge, the beautiful lawn and outdoor area, to the modern, chic wedding barn and it's twinkle lights - this venue is absolute perfection. Micah and her team have created the most calming atmosphere and stunning space - every detail of this venue is gorgeous. Micah is one of the most genuinely kind-hearted, professional, thoughtful, and organized individuals, and was an immense blessing in helping us realize our dream day in the midst of a pandemic. Heartwood is also in an amazing location. We had quite a few out of town guests and they had the best time our wedding weekend with all Lake Oconee has to offer. We could not have imagined our wedding anywhere else and Heartwood will always hold a special place in our hearts!

My daughter held her reception at Heartwood and it was lovely! The venue is chic casual and elegant and looks really beautiful at night with the lights. Micah was great to work with and was very helpful during the covid restrictions. The grooms shack is super cute and served as a retreat for the bride and groom to eat a private dinner before their big entrance. There are a lot of outdoor areas that are great for photos. I highly recommend this venue as a picky MOB. It is more beautiful in person
