I absolutely loved (!) working with Heather and Grace! In addition to both being amazing photographers that captured moments and perspectives that I didn't even know about, they were super responsive to my random questions and very organized. ***And SO QUICK to send the finished photo gallery!!***
From the very beginning, Heather understood the semi-boho #LetsGetZen vibe we were going for and that comes through so perfectly in our photos. We could not be more pleased!

The most wonderful pictures!
Heather is so responsive and easy to work with! One of my friends recommended her after seeing her pictures from another wedding and I could not be happier. She is so easy to work with and flexible to accommodate my needs and wedding schedule (and all of our changes since our plan kept changing). Her team was so sweet and kind too. Absolutely in love with our pictures. -

Heather is a rockstar!
Heather is so amazing. She did our engagement shoot, Covid mini ceremony in October 2020, and our reception in October 2021. She is kind, professional, and a great listener for specific requests. She also knows exactly what to do to get the job done. Panicky bride? She’s got it. Intimate moments? Got it. Style requests? Got it! AND of course her pictures turn out stunning. We just got our sneak peek from our reception and I can’t wait to see the rest.

Wedding photos of my dreams!
I recently got married in March 2021 in Key Largo, FL. Wedding planning during a pandemic was quite difficult but the easiest and best decision I made was to hire Heather Funk as my wedding photographer! I knew that I wanted my photos to capture the love and joy between my husband and I and our family and friends on the wedding day. I also envisioned a natural look that showcased the beauty of the setting and all of the special details I put such hard work into choosing. I didn’t want cheesy group shots and garish, cliche beach wedding photos. I was so lucky to come across some examples of Heather’s work and knew right away I wanted her as my wedding photographer! My husband typically hates getting his photo taken but all of his anxieties about the day-of vanished once we had our amazing engagement photo shoot with Heather. Everything went so smoothly on the wedding day and Heather made it feel effortless. She was so fun to work with, yet assertive and efficient. She worked wonderfully with my videography team and helped me find an amazing hair and makeup artist also. She tackled the challenging job of keeping everyone on task for the group shots and captured a plethora of amazing, perfect images while still allowing us to be in the moment for our entire wedding day and night. We will cherish the memories and the photos forever! I hope I am lucky enough to have another opportunity to work with Heather in the future! -

I absolutely love Heather and her assistant Grace. Heather got there that morning but I was in the middle of having my hair and make up done so I couldn’t really talk to her. She figured it all out she made her self comfortable and next thing you know; she’s duck taping my bridesmaids boobs to fit perfectly in her dress. She does it all! I didn’t have a videographer and of course I wondered if I wasn’t going to regret that choice. Let me tell you, I don’t feel slight regret or like I’m missing something, the pictures came to life! Right now I feel so beyond grateful that I found Heather and that I chose her and my photos are absolutely stunning. I can’t stop looking at them and obsessing over them and her and of course her beautiful work!!!! Thank you again Heather and team! Maybe I can have some babies so you can photograph that too!!!! -

I can't tell you how amazing Heather was to work with. From the moment we met her, I was so impressed with how professional and creative she was! Heather took both our engagement photos and our wedding photos and made us feel such ease . We had never taken professional photos together as a couple and during our engagement photos, she really just made us feel comfortable and knew all of the right angles and spots for our shots. On the wedding day, Heather was literally running the show and made sure we got all of the shots on our shot list. I'm not kidding when I say all of my bridesmaids said Heather was the best photographer they had ever seen (and that's saying alot!), she just knew when to wrangle everyone and knew the exact moments to be capturing. When we got our wedding photos back, I burst into tears as the photos were just absolutely gorgeous. She is unbelievable with capturing photos using natural light. I am going to treasure them forever and I am so thankful I found Heather. If you are considering working with her, don't consider, just do it! She's amazing and will be recommending her to all future brides in Miami!! THANK YOU HEATHER. -

There are no words to express how talented and amazing her work is. She is very professional and truly knows how to make all your dreams come true with your photos. We really loved her style and she is just as amazing! We will definitely use her for future photo sessions. Very reasonably priced also!

When looking at our wedding pictures, I experienced the joy of the day all over again. In addition to smoothly taking all the routine shots from our shot list, (bridal party, family etc), Heather beautifully captured the personalities and emotions of our family and friends in her candid shots. These candid shots brought a smile to my face and touched my heart, as they made me realize how special our family and friends are and how grateful we are that they shared our wedding day with us. She also creatively incorporated pictures of our church, reception venue, and home, with the result being a reaction of " Wow..... What a great picture! How did she ever think of that?". These pictures are unique, personal and real "keepers". They portray what is important to us as a family. I have no doubt that long after the glow of the wedding day has passed, we will look fondly at our pictures and feel as though the photography did the day justice. Thank you, Heather.. -

User1009334 Sent on 11/08/2012Heather is awesome. She was there for every shot! I absolutely love her work. She thinks out of the box and has a great eye. She is incredibly professional. She was able to shoot our entire wedding party ( 13 people), and family portraits in under an hour...and they all came out great! I highly recommend her!
