  My sister found Heather on a Groupon deal for wedding makeup and hair trial. At first I wasn't too excited about it, but after reading a few good reviews I decided to give her a try.
  
  I emailed her and within a few minutes she responded. We were able to schedule my first appointment quick and at my preferred time.
  
  Heather came to my house for the trial. She was very professional and on time. At first, I was only concerned with makeup, because a friend of mine was going to do my hair. However, since I had a wedding to attend, she still did my hair. Both looked great and it was better than expected! I booked the makeup for myself, my mom and 2 bridesmaids.
  
  Then a few weeks before my wedding, my friend who was going to do my hair cancelled on me. Heather came to the rescue and we did another trial for hair only. I loved what she did and so I hired her for my hair as well.
  
  On the wedding day, she arrived promptly at the hotel to do our makeup. One of my bridesmaids that was not scheduled, decided to get hers done as well after seeing how beautiful the other ones looked. Heather was able to accommodate her, as well as finish my hair and makeup on time.
  
  Everyone was happy with their makeup, and amazed on how natural but more beautiful she made all of us look. Not to mention, she is a sweetheart with a soothing vibe and nice hands that will make you feel calm and relaxed as you get pampered :)
  
  We all loved her!

  Heather seriously saved my wedding day!
  
  I had originally booked a good friend of mine to do the makeup for my bridal party and I for my wedding but she cancelled on me a week and a half before the wedding. I was already stressed from dealing with other wedding stuff and didn't know what to do. I searched high and low for someone and found Heather on Yelp, sent her an e-mail and she called me back within an hour. Which is very impressive, most of my other vendors were taking forever to get back to me so I was surprised to find someone who actually read their e-mails.
  My heart nearly stopped when Heather told me she was actually available! I honestly didn't think I would be able to find anyone and would have to do my own makeup.
  She was super professional on the phone and was able to book me for a trial within the next few days.
  The trial was fabulous, she listened to everything I wanted and made me comfortable enough to feel like I could tell her to change something if I wanted to. I didn't feel any pressure to go for a certain "bridal look," she let me imagine my own look and brought it to life.
  She also has some amazing products and if (by chance) she doesn't have something you want, she's very accommodating about trying her best to get it for you.
  
  Anyway, Heather did an outstanding job on my wedding day, she was able to keep me calm and make me look awesome oh and she made my bridal party look amazing too!! Everyone loved our makeup!

  Heather is a girl's dream! I am not a girly girl but for my wedding I wanted to go all out. So, Heather and an assistant came to our hotel room (travel was no problem) and did hair AND makeup for five of us.
  
  Heather is calm, organized and professional (with amazing products). She had a smile and a sweet demeanor. She also makes you feel comfortable and listens. My wedding day was better having her there. My makeup and hair were beautiful and exactly what made me feel nice- nothing out of my comfort zone. Believe me, Heather can do it all. If you want any sort of look, I am confident she can pull it off. In our group, updos, long loose curls and short dos were no challenge. All 6 women left with different looks, styled just for them and everyone was happy.
  
  Oh, did I mention, she is super-affordable?!

  Heather is my hero!
  
  She arrived on time for my hair/makeup appointment with her portable Sephora-esque makeup containers with boxes and boxes of brushes, glosses, powders, curlers, and more. She was warm and friendly and immediately put me at ease with her sweetness and laid-back style.
  
  Heather did my makeup first, applying all sorts of lovely light products that lasted for the entire day and night. Unfortunately my makeup vernacular is limited as I don't usually wear much if any at all but whatever Heather did, it worked! She took time mixing all sorts of shades and colors until they matched my skin tone perfectly and she even custom-made me an amazing lipstick color. My eyes popped and were "fresh and summery" just as I'd requested, my face was smooth and blemish-free and my Heather even gave me a little baggie full of goodies for touch ups as necessary.
  
  On to the hair... I have extremely thin, fine, shoulder-length Asian hair that couldn't hold a curl if you paid it to. Heather did the unimaginable: She made my hair hold a curl for over 6 hours (this is serious Criss Angel level magic!!). She teased the hair at my crown for volume and it had so much fun shape and movement for hours without being rock-stiff.
  
  Heather was extremely understanding about my situation and was kind enough to waive her travel fee for me, her rates are very reasonable and worth every penny and then some for the final results. My skin is extremely sensitive and the makeup application didn't affect it in the least, I didn't break out at all in the days that followed.
  
  If I could afford to have Heather do my hair and makeup every day I would! I hope to have the chance to work with her again one day and highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a sweet, talented, dependable and creative makeup artist/hair stylist for a wedding, prom, engagement photoshoot, etc.
