User1091545 Sent on 02/15/2013Karen Diamond of Heavenly Weddings was our officiant for our wedding ceremony. She was wonderful! With her help we created a ceremony that was very special and unique. She was exceptional in every way. We loved the way she spoke and the care she took in making sure our ceremony was beautiful. Our guests loved her delivery and manner - we had many comments on how intimate and special the ceremony was. We are very happy we had her as our officiant.Heavenly Weddings's reply:
This couple was a total delight. There is no 'work' involved in a ceremony for such folks. Just exactly why I am so blessed to be able to do this. This has to be my purpose in life. I was as glowing afterward as the couple. I was moved by this bride from start to finish. -

Joann Sent on 06/05/2012Karen Diamond is one of the sweetest people we have worked with. She was open to any type of ceremony that my husband and I wanted. We aren't religious, but she built on our overall spirituality. If any of our friends are going to marry or want to renew their vows, we definitely recommend Rev Karen. Patricia Sent on 10/28/2010Karen was amazing for our wedding ceremony. She was referred to us by a friend. She loves weddings, and her excitement and emotion can be seen during the ceremony. She helped walk my husband and I through the process because we had not clue what we were doing. She also specializes in interfaith marriages and she gave us good advice for our ceremony. I actually heard one of our guests say "She's good" during the ceremony.Heavenly Weddings's reply:

Susie Sent on 12/17/2008Reverend Karen Diamond was truly a delight to work with. She gave us a lot of suggestions and input for creating our ceremony, and helped us create a ceremony that worked perfectly for us. Her speaking skills are fantastic, and everyone truly enjoyed the ceremony (not a single complaint about it being too long or boring). We had some interesting obstacles, the weather dropped drastically and there were some ducks in the background that decided to chime in a couple times, and she had a good attitude about it and made it into an amusing situation rather than a catastrophe! Prior to and after the ceremony, she shared several useful articles with us and has offered on several occasions to provide additional pre-marital and post-marital advice if needed, and although we have been lucky enough not to need much yet, I don't doubt that we will eventually! I am always here for you and it needn't be for a crisis :). I so remember you and the ducks. I arrived cold and marveled at you with your bare shoulders with not a goose bump in sight. That is what this awesome, out of body experience of taking these vows can do. A memorable day for me as well. -
User1624041 Sent on 05/19/2014I have never written a review before but feel it is absolutely necessary to do so in this case as I do not want another bride to experience what we did. I do not recommend you hire Karen Diamond to perform your ceremony. She basically ruined our entire ceremony by not having our updated vows with her. Even to the point of admitting it during the ceremony to our audience of 100 guests. Prior to our wedding, I tried several times to clarify the logistics of the ring exchange, who stands where, how we hold hands etc. Sure enough, she totally messed up the areas that i specifically tried to clarify with her! She disregarded my wishes regarding the ring exchange. I actually had to the stop her in the middle of the ceremony to correct her! Prior to the ceremony, she was impatient with me on the phone and told me she knew what she was doing and I was worrying too much. It was too late at that point to find another officiant. She did not even pay attention to my request to thank our family that traveled from Hawaii to be with us. When she got to the venue all she seemed concerned with was getting paid. I even gave her a gift from Hawaii, which she never thanked me for. She later agreed that she messed up and even admitted via email that she did not have our latest vows with her that day. She did not take the time to come to us and apologize or even call me afterwards. All my guests and family were asking what happened. How awful. I have been so upset by this whole thing. I actually feel uncomfortable posting this but felt I had to.

Most importantly, to me, is that in 21 years of officiating, I have never before gotten any reviews except the most positive. My other reviews from this website are posted and I have many privately sent to me which are available for viewing. My primary goal is to deliver a ceremony created by the 3 of us, that will always bring a smile and a happy tear to the couple and the gathered congregation. I have been blessed to have succeeded.
"How did you know what coffee aficionados we both are? I thank you wholeheartedly for the thoughtful gift." The preceding statement is something I cut and pasted from my email to the bride 2 days after the ceremony.
Clearly, we had some communication glitches between the 2 of us.
My concern upon arrival was to have the license in hand, in order to hold a legal ceremony, for the benefit of the couple. I was initially informed that the contact did not have it.
Usually, I can gauge the success of the ceremony by the engagement of the group, in addition to the couple. These folks were responding with laughter, which I encourage. It helps the emotions to modulate. The excessive heat and humidity of the day, in the closed tent was a challenge to be dealt with by all. Relief was apparent when the bride did not pass out; after indicating she might!
The nuptials ended with a rousing cheer for the lovely couple. I look forward to continuing this blessing as an officiant in the years to come.
