  Bridal dress shopping at heidi elnora was such an enjoyable experience! This was the only store I went to that didn't feel cluttered or overwhelming. It was so relaxing from the second I walked in! Also, Elizabeth was AWESOME! She was so attentive to my thoughts and ideas while keeping my budget in mind the entire time. She helped me decipher what was in my mind and build the dress I was dreaming about! She also was super helpful on the phone before my appointment when I had scheduling conflicts arise. I will be recommending heidi elnora to everyone I know and meet! :)

  I met Heidi years ago when one of my best friends was getting married and I was a bridesmaid! I loved her then and I love her now!! She is SO genuine and will do everything in her power to make you feel like the prettiest bride ever! She is so patient and caring and definitely knows how to have fun!! She also has an incredible staff who is just as genuine and each one of them is so talented! If you are looking for the best staff of people who will help you find the wedding dress of your dreams, Heidi Elnora is the place to go!!

  After falling in love with photos of Heidi's dresses, my mom, my MOH and I flew from Texas to check out her shop and hopefully walk out with the dress of my dreams. I was super excited to even be there shopping, but had no idea how AMAZING Heidi, Elizabeth and Joy we're going to be - not to mention the gowns. These ladies make you feel like every bride-to-be should feel while trying on dresses. I can't even explain how comfortable and welcome we were. This was my first, and only, bridal appointment but I don't think any other bridal shop could even come close to offering the same high-quality (comfortable!) gowns or the experience we had here. I really want to thank Heidi and her girls for making a once-in-a-lifetime trip truly unforgettable because of the kindness and generosity we were shown here today. Well worth the trip!!

  We had the best experience at the Heidi Elnora Atelier! Heidi, Elizabeth, and the rest of the Heidi team were so helpful in making sure that I found the perfect dress! Everyone was so friendly and sincere. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

  I am in love with Heidi and Elizabeth! They made the experience amazing and truly one of a kind. I had looked at other places before visiting them and nothing compares to Heidi and her line and the advice and help that was shown to us. She cares about her clients and her employees and I was blown away. She gave us a tour of her new place in Birmingham and made us feel so special. All of her dresses are amazing and has a great concept of build a bride where you can find the shape of the dress and work from there. I tried on the same two dresses multiple times because I could not pick because they were both perfect in every way. [thank you Elizabeth :)] They were so helpful and I cannot stop raving about them! Thank you so much for making my time with y'all amazing and unique.

Elizabeth is always so sweet and helpful and the whole team really "gets it" in the bridal world. Heidi is a master mind and never ceases to amaze me with what she is doing and what she comes up with. If you're looking for the perfect wedding gown, look no further! They are the BEST!

  Living 12 hours away from my Mom I was worried about going wedding dress shopping knowing she couldn't be at every dress store until I found the perfect dress. When I first came across Heidi Elnora Atelier I couldn't have been more impressed. Elisabeth and the wonderful staff helped me pick out the perfect dress for me and provided support and honesty with every dress I tried on. After I picked out my dress, my mom was able to fly down to see my final choice and Elisabeth came in early on a Friday when they had Birmingham Fashion Week just to make it possible for my mom to see the dress and allow me to have that special moment that every mom and daughter should have. I love my Heidi Elnora dress and can't wait to wear it in March. Thank you so much Heidi Elnora Atelier for everything!

  Heidi, Elizabeth, and Catherine were so very sweet and helpful. Elizabeth created the dress of my dreams. Every detail to the lace, tulle, and silk bow tied perfectly in the back. Her patience with me was amazing :) Catherine altered my dress to perfection. She was kind enough to give me her phone number so that I could text her with any concerns up until she completed my dress. Heidi is the best and has a terrific team working with her. I can't imagine getting my wedding dress from anyone else!

  After trying on dresses at three other stores in the Birmingham area, I was getting a little frustrated and it seemed like I would never find my dream dress. I had something particular in mind. I had great experiences at the other stores and they were so helpful and tried to help me find my dream dress but they just could not get it quite right. All the dresses were lovely and they probably could have worked but none of them felt like my dress. As soon as you walk into Heidi Elnora Atelier, you know something magically is about to happen. Elizabeth is SO amazing! I was her first bride and she nailed it! I explained to her what I had imaged for my dream dress and like a flash she was gone and back with dresses and unique pieces from the build-a-bride collection. Next thing I knew, I was standing in the mirror looking at the dress I had been imagining. I cannot sing her praises enough! Heidi was amazing at my fitting yesterday, she and her seamstress Carolyn were so meticulous about getting my wedding dress perfect! I cannot wait for my final fitting next month! Besides feeling like a princess and the magically atmosphere, where Heidi Elnora Atelier differs from the other bridal stores is the fit. They carry almost every size for everybody type in their build-a-bride dresses. Trying on a dress that is too big and using those clamps to try to show you how the dress will fit was not cutting it. Like many brides, my wedding dress is the most expense item of clothing I will ever purchase so I was not comfortable saying yes to dress when the dress did not even fit me. Trying on the dress in the size you need is the most amazing feeling! Please go see Heidi Elnora Atelier and you will see the magic for yourself!

  Wedding dress shopping can be very stressful and even a nightmare. There is an enormous amount of pressure to find the "perfect dress". Heidi Elnora will put all your worries at ease. She is an absolute DREAM to work with. Heidi and her team are very attentive to the wants and needs of the Bride. I had my heart set on re-doing my mothers wedding dress, but was extremely nervous to let someone rip apart something that is so precious to me and my family. Heidi was so patient and understanding with the significance that the dress held, I knew she would take care of it. And she did!! It was exactly what I wanted and what was envisioned. Heidi and her team were so kind and loving to me and my family during this special time. I will forever recommend Heidi to everyone!

Not only is my dress beautiful, but the whole dress process was enjoyable and exciting. I got so many compliments on my gown and would recommend Heidi to anyone!

  Heidi Elnora is my actual wedding dress "knight in shining armor". After visiting SEVERAL bridal boutiques, I just couldn't find anything that truly represented what I wanted in a dress. Sweet Elizabeth worked tirelessly with me trying to create what I had envisioned. After an hour of brainstorming, I was exhausted and ready to give up. Heidi pops in and her personality just immediately controls the room and makes you feel so comfortable and at home! She sat right down in the floor and created my dream dress on a piece of paper in front of my eyes. Her spirit is so warm and inviting and made all my fears about my dress go away instantly! My dress was EXACTLY what I wanted and it couldn't have been more perfect. The most beautiful, radiant, and comfortable dress there ever was! I also have to credit Lisa and the alterations team for their magnificent work. My dress fit like a glove and I danced all night long with no worries! I am forever thankful that I am a heidi Bride. Love the heidi elnora team!!

  I was the winner of The Build-A-Bride Giveaway that Heidi’s team sponsors. It was a competition on social media, and the prize was a wedding gown! Yes I said that, I won my wedding gown! The whole competition was fun and my entire hometown was obsessed with helping me win my dress. My mother died when I was eleven years old and to be honest, I wasn’t excited about going wedding dress shopping. I knew the entire time I would be thinking about how I wanted my mom there to help me zip them up and cry when she saw me in “The One.” My morale was so much higher after winning the contest, but I still felt the void of not sharing these moments with my mother. So the day of my appointment arrives, and I drive to the boutique. As soon as I saw the shop, I was so giddy. It looked like wedding wonderland with all of the gorgeous dresses combined with vintage décor. I walked in and immediately felt like Heidi’s team was one of my best friends helping me pick out my dress. Elizabeth was the sweetest person I have ever met and so helpful! Then, I met Heidi. She is so full of energy and it is contagious. My favorite moment of my appointment is when I had everything picked out she made everyone there close their eyes and imagine it was the day of the wedding. When she said open your eyes there I was standing in my dream dress with my veil on. Everyone was crying their eyes out, but it was such a sweet moment. Even though I just won a wedding gown, I feel like I won so much more by getting to work Heidi and her team! Love them!

  What an experience! Working with such an amazing wedding dress designer that understood my vision was one of the highlights of planning our wedding. I visited several local bridal gown shops in Birmingham. However, none of them were what I had in mind for my experience or dream dress…none were "it". To saw my third trip was a charm is an understatement. From scheduling my first appointment to picking up my dress, Heidi and her team nailed it. I had ideas in my head but upon entering the Atelier, it completely changed. Everyone was very patient, allowed me to try on my favs, and try every custom piece that she had in the shop! When I finally decided on THE dress, I wanted to add my own flare to make the dress more me. I tried and tried during two separate visits. You talk about a patient team…very patient for an indecisive bride! During the last visit, Heidi came out to assist. I explained what I wanted, and instantly Heidi went to the back and brought out some of the most beautiful lace. We both knew instantly that this was IT! My mom even captured this moment through a picture (of which I have to frame and give to Heidi as our AHA moment)! I cherish each visit and memory that I had the honor of sharing with Heidi and her team. Heidi is not only my wedding dress designer, but I consider her to be like family. Such a sweet, sweet soul! She has a keen attention to detail, and does not stop until her brides are 100% happy! I HIGHLY recommend Heidi to any and every bride around the world. The wedding planning is fun and nerving at times...but having the opportunity to customize your wedding dress and make it YOU with the help of an amazing, caring, talented, creative, patient, silly, soulful designer just makes it even better than you could ever dream! When I finally decided on THE dress, I wanted to add my own flare to make the dress more me. I tried and tried during two separate visits. You talk about a patient team…very patient for an indecisive bride! During the last visit, Heidi came out to assist. I explained what I wanted, and instantly Heidi went to the back and brought out some of the most beautiful lace. We both knew instantly that this was IT! My mom even captured this moment through a picture (of which I have to frame and give to Heidi as our AHA moment)! I cherish each visit and memory that I had the honor of sharing with Heidi and her team. Heidi is not only my wedding dress designer, but I consider her to be like family. Such a sweet, sweet soul! She has a keen attention to detail, and does not stop until her brides are 100% happy! I HIGHLY recommend Heidi to any and every bride around the world. The wedding planning is fun and nerving at times...but having the opportunity to customize your wedding dress and make it YOU with the help of an amazing, caring, talented, creative, patient, silly, soulful designer just makes it even better than you could ever dream!   Heidi Elnora is not only a simply stunning wedding dress designer but she’s a stunning person who makes you feel like she’s known you forever during the entire wedding dress “shopping” experience. Heidi has the “it” factor and has an innate ability to connect with her brides on genuine and authentic personal level. She takes copious amounts of time with her client to make sure they are nothing short of pleased… i mean it’s only a dress for your biggest day EVER, right? She’s a perfectionist and will make sure your dress and experience is everything you’ve dreamed of. I can’t recommend sweet Heidi (and her A+ team) enough for the beautiful work they do.   Heidi and her team took a fantasy that I couldn't even put into words and made it a larger-than-life reality. I can't explain how much it meant to me to wear a custom gown made with pieces of my mother's wedding dress. My mom is my best friend, and she's the perfect example of what a Proverbs 31 woman and wife look like. To be able to share in that day with my mom in such an exquisite and personal way is something I will never be able to thank Heidi enough for.
  
  Our whole experience at the Atelier was incredible. From start to finish, each meeting was filled with love and LOTS of laughter. The team is welcoming, knowledgeable, and down to earth (which is so refreshing in an industry that can sometimes be stuffy). The space is the perfect amount of dreamy. And the memories are some of the best of my life.

  It was 6 weeks before my wedding day. Instead of looking forward to shopping for my dress I dreaded it. Every boutique I went to tried to tell me what I wanted. Although they asked me what I wanted they didn't listen. I looked at David's Bridal, expensive boutiques and all places in between but I couldn't find anything that I wanted. The dresses were over priced and over rated or over priced and cheap looking or just plain bad.
  
  Heidi was amazing. I stumbled upon her website while google map searching and I am so lucky to have found her. I told her my budget and a general idea of what I wanted and I went in to see her. Immediately I felt at ease. She asked me about my wedding colors, what I liked, things I enjoyed etc. and designed my dress for me right there! I told her my budget and she gave me several options that i could afford! In less than 5 weeks I had my completed finished dress; fitted to me perfectly!
  
  In summary: Heidi is a very talented designer who listens to what you want and doesn't tell you what you "need." She is professional, more than competant, efficient, and will work with you to stay within your budget (or go a little outside of it if you want to :). Just let go and trust her with your dress!

  Words can not explain the experience of creating my gown with Heidi, but I will try my best. From the first time I met her, I felt like I'd known her forever. It was so comforting to feel like I was just talking with a friend every time we had an appointment. We would talk about work, family, friends, and stresses of life which always made me feel like a friend, not someone she just wanted a check from (which was a nice change from the meetings you usually have with vendors). Heidi really took the time to get to know me which made my gown even more perfect for me and my Big Day! It was gorgeous. I'd been to 6 stores and tried on hundreds of dresses, but the custom couture gown Heidi made for me was a million times better than anything I'd ever seen. When I think about all this, it makes me wonder how I was able to leave Heidi's shop without owing her tens of thousands of dollars. I don't remember exactly how much the gown was, but every penny was worth it. My mom told me later that Heidi could have told us it was twice the price and she still would have paid it because of how amazing I looked in it. I can honestly say that I am more happy with Heidi than any other vendor I used for my wedding. She is incredibly talented, sweet, and welcomes you into her life. I can't imagine having gone through the wedding planning process without her. She was always there to help me, listen to me, and offer advice whenever she could. If you can't find the gown of your dreams, you should definitely go to Heidi! She will put your dreams on paper, then make them come to life. If you think you've found the gown of your dreams, make an appointment with her anyway, because I know she will change your mind like she did mine. I had "the perfect dress" picked out, but when I saw the sketch Heidi made for me, I knew the other one wouldn't hold a candle to it. And, of course, no one in the world can walk into a wedding gown shop and buy my dress because it was made just for me. Talk about making a Bride feel special. Heidi knows how to do it!

  Love love love this place!! Seriously, if you are unsure where to go, go here and ask for Liz. She was phenomenal. I was the only bride in there and had the full attention of the lovely staff. I can't imagine a better experience and would recommend them to anyone. I'm so excited about how they are helping reimagine my grandmother's dress

  I had a wonderful experience with Heidi! Although my dress was not designed from scratch, she helped rework my mother's dress to create something special and fresh for my wedding while still retaining it's heritage. Both my mother and I were very please at the final fitting and overwhelmed by Heidi's sincerity and energy. She is very professional and the quality top notch!
