  Beautiful, Quality Work

  I already knew our wedding day was going to be perfect, low stress, and smooth when Liz and Madilyn showed up early to set up. I was so impressed by their skill, professionalism, and attention to detail. When getting my hair and makeup done that morning, they both referenced multiple times how they had looked back and reflected on my trial to make tweeks. That extra time and attention was appreciated and did not go unnoticed!  A testament to their skills was being able to do services on people ranging from 6 to 91 years old for our wedding. Everyone looked and felt amazing not only at the time of our service or all that day, but at our reception the next day (or in my mom's case for days to come! Madilyn worked her magic and got my mom's super straight hair to hold a curl for over 4 days!). With doing 13 services that morning, they had great time management while each service getting the special attention they deserved. We also had Liz come with us to the venue for a few on call hours. This was great to have any little thing touched up. Both Madilyn and Liz were incredible! I felt so beautiful on my wedding day! They are true artists and were lovely to work with!

  I was OBSESSED with my hair and makeup! I have never felt more beautiful and so natural! My entire party was so happy with how everything turned out! I cannot recommend Hello Lovely enough for you big day!

  Hello Lovely was amazing. I came from out of state and they were great about finding a trial time the week of my wedding. Liz was my hair and makeup artist and she was very kind and professional!

  Above and beyond in customer service

  After much research, we decided to hire Hello Lovely for our daughter's wedding. Their customer service was excellent. liz did our daughter's hair and makeup for her engagement photos. Liz followed her directions completely and our daughter's hair and makeup was natural, tasteful and looked great. We were even more excited when our photographer said she had worked with many clients who had used Hello Lovely and she loved them. There were a couple of bumps, but Hello Lovely was very responsive. There is so much to learn concerning weddings and wedding vendors. Always know what the terminology means for eg. blow-dry versus blowout. Second, before you hire someone for hair and makeup, know what your timeline is. It makes a difference when scheduling hair and makeup for the wedding. Otherwise, you may be getting your hair done too early and this can drastically alter the amount of time you have to pay for a photographer. We will definitely use Hello Lovely again and highly recommend Liz.

  Affordable, great service, stunning results!

  I had a fantastic experience with Hello Lovely for my wedding on August 29. They were more affordable than other beauty vendors I researched online without sacrificing quality or customer service. Ashley talked with me on the phone about services and pricing -- I SO appreciated that bridal hair and makeup was priced the same as bridesmaids, and not twice as expensive, like it was at other salons. I ended up purchasing 10 services: Hair for myself, 2 moms and 4 bridesmaids, and makeup for myself and 2 moms. Hello Lovely sent two stylists who traveled to my venue free of charge.
  
  I opted to go for a hair/makeup trial and was assigned Erin as my main artist -- she was warm, friendly, and took diligent notes on what I did/didn’t like about my style, which she referenced on wedding day. She was also incredibly helpful -- the eyelash glue she used at my trial irritated one of my eyes, so I let her know and she swapped it out for latex-free glue on wedding day and I had zero issues. I’d definitely recommend the trial -- it’s worth the extra cost!
  
  On wedding day, Erin and our second stylist, Tamara, showed up a few minutes late due to rainy weather but got right to work, and I had complete faith they’d be done on schedule without sacrificing quality. Since my wedding was during the COVID pandemic, they also wore masks the entire time they provided services. I was extremely impressed by the quality of service -- my bridesmaids and moms looked stunning, and I felt like a queen!
  
  One small area of improvement is that it would have been nice to proactively hear from Hello Lovely as the pandemic progressed regarding their cancellation/rescheduling policies, any updated safety precautions/procedures they were taking, etc. -- but since we didn’t postpone our wedding, this was a nonissue for us.
  
  Overall, the whole Hello Lovely team was super easy and fun to work with. I would definitely recommend!

  Made us all feel beautiful! So fun!

  in law, who all needed hair and makeup done for my wedding in August. Not only did every. single. woman. LOVE their hair and makeup, we were able to get ready in one of the cutest and most functional spaces of all time. The pictures from the studio are some of my favorite. We were able to bring our own food and alcohol, spread out, hang out, exchange gifts, and truly just spend amazing time together before moving to the ceremony.
  
  I will say I was initially kind of nervous booking a larger service or team of people to handle the large task of everyone's hair and makeup... but everyone was SO happy with how it turned out and I don't know why I was EVER nervous! I have some very picky friends and everyone felt so beautiful and happy with how hair and makeup and lashes turned out. The owners are SO easy to work with and helped us with any add-ons we had throughout the process of planning. They also checked in with me since the pandemic started in the middle of our planning process. They are just really awesome people and deliver top notch service. I'm so thankful to them for such an amazing start-of-wedding-day experience. Book them! You will NOT have a single regret!

  Hiring Hello Lovely from KC to travel all of the way to Manhattan, KS was amazing! I worked with Ashley, the owner, a couple trials before my wedding to get the look I wanted, both hair and makeup. She made my hairstyle customized to my wedding dress. Her team members were great and made getting ready the morning of the wedding so much fun! I would highly recommend reaching out to these lovely ladies if you have a large or small wedding party. They'll make you look fabulous!

She was a sweetheart when we tweaked the hairstyles on the day. She assured us that what matters is that we are happy with the look and feel beautiful on the day.   Every girl wants to feel beautiful and amazing on her big day! Ashley, and her team, did just that and so much more!
  Soon after I got engaged, I knew I needed the best for hair and makeup. Due to health reasons, I was losing my already very fine/thin hair. I sent a few emails and read countless reviews in search of someone that could work some magic for me. I was literally in tears, and completely stressed on how I would be able to look decent, let alone good. I'm talking practically no hair people, even too thin for extensions. I met with Ashley, and another stylist at the salon, and they developed a customized plan for me. Ashley alleviated my fears; I immediately booked her that day.
  Fast forward to my wedding day... Ashley knocked everything out of the park! Everything looked wonderful and perfectly matched! Don't even get me started on my makeup (insert heart-eye emoji). I felt total Hollywood status!

  Stop your search for a hair stylist for your wedding now! I contacted over 20 vendors in regards to hair for my wedding- most didn’t respond or refused to do on site services. I got married on my grandparents farm and it is a family tradition to get ready in the farm house. Hello Lovely got back to me immediately and was available for on site services. Another stumbling block I ran into was that I only needed services for me (the bride), my sister (MOH), and my best friend (bridal attendant). Of the small number of vendors who contacted me back none of them besides Hello Lovely would come to you if you had a smaller wedding party. From the moment Jennifer at Hello Lovely contacted me back I knew I was in good hands. They have an online contract you look over and sign. You are even able to check and see if they have your date available online before they contact you back! You are able to book and pay for every service online. It was incredibly convenient and was great for record keeping and budgeting purposes for my wedding. I had two hair trials by Ashley the owner at Hello Lovely. On the first one she came to my house and worked on my sister and I for 4 hours. We tried out 4 different hair styles for me and found the perfect one. Ashley made sure I was happy and helped me find what I really wanted in regards to hair for my big day.   They were great!!! Couldn't ask for a better team! First I had planned them doing only the hair but I found out my make up girl canceled on me 2 months before the wedding so I asked them if they could do it & they were very happy to do it as well!!! Love you girls!!!! They were the Best!!!

  Ashley and team were awesome!! They got to our hotel at 8am and started very promptly. Ashley started on my makeup, and the 3 other girls got started on everyone else’s hair/makeup. We had 9 girls get their hair done and 7 girls get their makeup done. Sounds daunting but they got it done in like 2 and a half hours which was incredible. Ashley made sure she did my hair too.
  
  Ashley had come to my house to do my trial a few months before the wedding and had such a good strategy, she asked us to take pictures of anything that changed/messed up with my hair/makeup throughout the day so we would be able to prevent it on the day of the wedding. Only a couple tweaks on the day, overall it was perfect.
  
  All of the girls were really easy to hang out with and talk to and it was just a lot of fun. Ashley even did a really sweet prayer with me right before she left and it was very thoughtful.
  

  Ashley and team were awesome!! They got to our hotel at 8am and started very promptly. Ashley started on my makeup, and the 3 other girls got started on everyone else’s hair/makeup.   Ashley Backs and her team did an amazing job. She did my daughter’s make up for her bridal portrait, wedding day and post wedding photo shoot. My daughter had different hairstyles and Ashley was able to successful complete the vision that my daughter had for each event. Her team came in on the wedding day to my home and was able to wrap up hair and make up for the bride; 6 bridesmaids and myself in 2 hours! I appreciated that they came to my home so we could all get ready together and I didn’t have to miss any of my daughter’s activities.

  Mati did such a wonderful job on my hair and makeup for my wedding day! It was amazing how quickly she did it, and it lasted through the crazy heat and humidity, which I was worried about. I felt absolutely beautiful, but still like myself. Best of all, she took time after she was finished to pray for me and the day; it was truly heart-warming! I would highly recommend Hello Lovely to other future brides.

I did a lot of research before selecting them and all the reviews said they were incredible. I was not disappointed. Not only were they professional, precise, and gave me exactly what I wanted, but they also added warmth and kindness to my special day. The whole staff was extremely professional and genuine. And Mati was a gem! She and her team made getting for my wedding extra sweet. They were flexible, professional and fun! I had never had my hair professionally done and she was an absolute genius with both my hair and makeup! I asked for a few tweaks post-trial and Mati did exactly what I asked and made it all perfect. I LOVED how I looked and how I felt as a bride. I got tons of compliments on both my hair and makeup and was told by multiple people that I looked "flawless" and "beyond stunning."   Absolutely use Ashley from Hello Lovely! I was unsure about getting both hair and makeup but after meeting, I had no doubt she'd help make the day perfect. No stress on the big day because I just relaxed and when she arrived she did hair and makeup, talking me through everything. She is so sweet and all of the bridesmaids loved having her around while we were getting ready.

  I loved my experience with Hello Lovely. I went to their studio and had a hair and makeup trial before booking. I will say that the price of the trial is a little expensive, but I do understand that it takes their time and expertise. At my trial I showed Ashley my Pinterest boards for hair and makeup, as well as images from magazines. She created a hairstyle and makeup that were EXACTLY what I was looking for! I was so impressed by the questions she asked me, such as whether or not I wanted my freckles covered up. I was so nervous about looking over-done on my wedding day, but Ashley really listened to my request for a natural look.
  
  My wedding day was several months later, and Ashley and her team came to our venue to do hair and makeup on me, my two bridesmaids, and our mothers. They really listened to what everybody wanted and were done SO fast. I had problems with my mascara after the trial and Ashley gave me several options to fix it on my wedding day which I really appreciated. My hair stayed perfect all day and night, except for one piece that my bridesmaid had to re-pin. Every time I looked in the mirror I felt like me, which was so important to me.
  
  I would 100% recommend Hello Lovely to all future brides!

She kept in touch between the makeup trial and the wedding day. She did an amazing job on our makeup. It turned out great for pictures and we all received several compliments that day specifically on our makeup. She was also efficient- on such a hectic day she got our makeup done pretty quickly- but did not sacrifice quality or effort.
