    Lisa Giles and the entire staff at the Henderson House exceeded my expectations. From the food to the excellent service and beautiful venue itself, I could not have imagined a more perfect evening. Their flexibility and commitment to helping me with any detail was exceptional.

    Absolutely beautiful venue, indoors and outdoors. A photographers dream come true. Staff is very accomodating for all your needs.

    Henderson House was the perfect venue for our June 9, 2013 wedding. It was wonderful to have so much space. The venue is gorgeous and well-taken care of. Our coordinator, Jennifer Shotkin, did a superb job. She helped create a lovely menu and made sure that everything went smoothly. She even brought out hors d'oeuvres for us during photos post-ceremony. Many of our guests told us that our wedding was one of the nicest they'd ever attended. Our pictures our beautiful!!

    From the mother-of-the-bride: I was just incredibly pleased. Everyone was so responsive and they handled all of the details. I remember that they helped make sure that we didn't leave anything behind.

    We were EXTREMELY pleased with Henderson House. The house is amazingly beautiful and the staff was great. We had our ceremony and reception on site, and there are rooms for a babysitting room and separated dressing rooms for the men and women in the bridal party. The only thing I wish was different was that we had to pay for rental of the patio chairs to have the ceremony there- but the house was very up front about this.

    The food was really good and they were accommodating for nut allergies and gluten intolerance for some of our guests. We used a buffet which worked seamlessly and the food was all hot and fresh. The bar staff was helpful and did a good job managing guests safely. We chose an open bar because it was not that much of an increase over the lesser bar package.

    The house is owned by Northeastern University and since my husband is an alumni they gave us a discount on the operations fee- so that's something to keep in mind for all the Huskies out there.

    I would absolutely recommend Henderson House as a venue.

    The Henderson House is absolutely gorgeous, and the staff fantastic. They worked with my husband and I to create the perfect ceremony setting and menu. We had a classy, memorable event, and stayed within our budget!

    the venue is beautiful but awkwardly shaped. lisa and Jennifer however gave me several options on how to conduct the ceremony and reception. the day turned out to be the warmest fall day and our ceremony outside was beautiful with the color leaves. staff were all friendly but I'm not sure why my groom and groommen were outside setting up chairs. food was delicious. the downer was lisa said i could have my choice of liquor but it still ended up billed to us. That's fine but she didnt mention it on oir inital visit. we had asked for 12 bottles and only got 6. my guests stayed as they clean up and the staff did not kick them out whixh was greatly appreciated.

    We had a beautiful wedding at the Henderson House on 10/7/12. As beautiful as this venue is, it had a lot of unique challenges given the logistics of the multiple rooms (sound, different dining rooms that split up guests) that made it difficult to work around. Luckily we had a great DJ that managed to reach all guests and keep the dance floor packed most of the night. In addition, because Weston is a dry town they require that you hire someone to sell drink tickets (unless you buy full open bar). This was another awkard barrier for our guests. We got wine bottles for the table but were charged $14 per bottle as corkage fee! While they have various coordinators to work with you at the Henderson House, I had hired Day of Coordinators as I wanted to ensure that all details were included. Lisa Giles was always very nice but there was a lot of miscommunication throughout the wedding process. For instance, on the day of they were actually giving tours while my Coordinator was sweating it out, folding napkins and trying to prepare and direct the venue staff (not her job). In addition, at the end of the night we were rushed out of there-while guests arrived 1/2 earlier, we were told by Lisa that it would still end at 10pm (vs. 9:30). Another staff member ended up rushing us out. We had informed them ahead of time that we would return 2 days later to pick up belongings. We were forced to pack up everything and store it in another room-again, not something we should have had to do. We had many left over favors and asked staff to save- they were thrown out instead. There were other little mishaps too that occurred and while overall our wedding day was BEAUTIFUL there were dissapointments along the way. I will say that Lisa was flexible with pricing at times and accomodating with other requests.It might be easier for clients to be assigned to 1 coordinator throughout process for consistency purposes. We don't regret having our wedding held here! Our day ended up being magical!
