Venue was beautiful. Our day of coordinator, Laura, was amazing. She tended to our every need! Food was good. Bar drinks were very weak and we had many guests make a comment about them. This is the only part that I had a complaint about. Florist did an amazing job, cake was delicious. Overall a beautiful day.

This venue is such a hidden gem! I love how open yet intimate it is, plus the windows overlooking the lake are stunning. It's so unique and doesn't feel like a typical open barn venue. The planning process has been so smooth and Madison has been such a big help! I also love how many options there are with the actual venue so you don't have to manage so many vendors or communications. They really make it easy! I can't wait for our wedding in a few weeks!!

My husband and I got married at Walters Hidden Pines Wedding Estate, and it was the best decision we made. Not only is the venue stunning, but their staff and vendors are great! Our coordinator, Sheilah, was amazing! She was present and prompt to our needs during the planning process and contributed to making our special day perfect. I also recommend their DJ, Will. All of our guests loved the music.

Hidden Pines by Walter Wedding Estates was a truly great all-inclusive experience. When we first toured the venue, it's clear that the flow of the guests was taken into consideration for the layout. We loved the aesthetic of the venue, from the entryway , ballroom, and especially the cocktail room. The convenience of having on-premises bridal and groom suites was also a huge bonus. What really sold us were the amenities, vendors, and wedding coordinators that were included at no-cost and alleviated a good amount of stress and responsibility from our end.

Throughout the planning process, Shiela was very responsive and helpful in getting everything organized. Whenever we reached out with questions, changes, or for clarifications, she was prompt and clear in her responses. Sheila was also helpful in connecting us with the exclusive vendors that work with Walters Wedding Estates. All of whom did a great job of catering to our needs and what we envisioned for our wedding. The only critique that we have is that there were a few times that the process felt corporate-like due to the how their contracted vendors run everything through Walters Wedding Estates and how any outside vendors would need to be managed primarily by us.

On the day of our wedding, it was very apparent that we made the right decision for our wedding day. The venue was cooled on the hottest day of the week and the staff were very accommodating and helpful. Shiela and Candy were outstanding in checking in with us regularly and even handled a parking situation with a neighboring building. The hors d'oeuvres were a huge hit and the plated dinner was good. The cake was also well-received by our guests.

Ultimately, we are very happy that we had our wedding here and couldn't imagine it anywhere else. The visual and aesthetics were great but the service and communication of the planners provided by the venue made our wedding care-free, seamless, and amazing.

Hidden Pines is an absolute dream for anyone seeking a breathtaking waterfront venue. This venue offered stunning views, immaculate grounds, and a sense of tranquility that set the perfect atmosphere for Deseree and Jose’s wedding.

From the moment I arrived, Kim, Brook and Candy, made me feel at home. Their attention to detail and dedication to ensuring everything ran smoothly was beyond impressive. Kim's expertise in event planning truly shone through, while Candy's warmth and personal touch made every interaction delightful.

The venue itself is both elegant and versatile. The outdoor space, overlooking the water, is perfect for ceremonies and cocktail hours, with plenty of room for guests to mingle while taking in the beautiful scenery. Inside, the venue is tastefully decorated with a rustic charm that complements its natural surroundings. The indoor area offers great flexibility for different setups, whether you're hosting an intimate gathering or a larger celebration.

The TLOD Lake Houston Chapter is glad to return to Hidden Pines Lake Houston for the 2nd year. Our annual scholarship fundraiser is a great success all due to the ease of the all inclusive services offered and the thorough assistance of Madison, our assigned planner. We are looking forward to another successful event!

Hidden Pines venue is beautiful.
There are a few little cons that do come with this company, but nothing extreme. I have been very excited to have my wedding hosted here, and have had no worried or doughts with this company.

We are currently planning our November 2024 wedding at Hidden Pines | Lake Houston, and we do not doubt that it will exceed all our expectations. The venue's versatility was a standout feature in selecting it for our wedding, accommodating a wide range of wedding styles with ease. Whether envisioning a classic, rustic, modern, or whimsical celebration, Hidden Pines | Lake Houston provides the perfect backdrop. The indoor and outdoor spaces are beautifully designed and can be customized to match any theme or aesthetic you desire. The exceptional planning team has also been making this Type-A Bride's wedding planning experience an absolute breeze! We cannot wait for November!

My amazing day as a bride has come and gone (too soon). Sheilah and Sydney were absolutely amazing! My day was an absolute dream and let me tell you... they both played a HUGE role! From calming my stresses when my dress needed some steam to making sure the timeline was on point. My HUSBAND and I could not have been blessed with a better team! These ladies are the best of the best and I have no regrets! They have a special place in my heart and they will be missed. If you are as blessed as we were to have them on your side, don't let the opportunity pass you by. Walter's should be honored to have them as representatives of their brand!

I had my wedding here last weekend and it was amazing! The venue is clean and gorgeous. You can truly make it your own. Our family and friends can’t stop gushing about how beautiful the venue was and how good the food was! Andrea G. was so patient and kind with me while planning the wedding, giving suggestions and answering the many, many questions I had! Brooke T. was an awesome day of coordinator! She was so calm on my wedding day that I really appreciated her energy on such a busy day. She did everything we asked and I am so grateful! The event staff was so nice and everyone was so accommodating. I know it takes a lot to hold such big events. Great venue space! The best part is that it includes everything you need in one venue. If you’re thinking about having your wedding here, do it!

Hidden Pines

I reached out to venue before posting review in hopes they would at least acknowledge or apologize for issues but my several letters have gone unanswered. I see they only respond to positive feedback. I hope my review helps others searching for a venue.

First off this is a beautiful venue. They offer different packages. Their vendors may not be local and any pricing or pictures all done digitally or FaceTime meetings. No catalogs available except online which can get confusing. Any discount offered on packages only available at time of contract signing. You can add any service as you go however we found out after signing we couldn’t get the $200 off for a service not needed if we upgraded a package. Only at signing do they offer.

You are unable to set up rehearsal if you want the night before event until 30 days before your wedding.

Ceremony room sound is awful. I was alerted by another venue customer a month before about issue and I alerted venue and they assured sound was fine. It isn’t. Do a mic check at rehearsal to make sure or before signing contract

Have your own coordinator to monitor event. We had 3 different coordinators and the third one was a surprise to us day of wedding others were leaving and she was taking over. Assurances made by other coordinators did not happen

Promised food to take for bride and groom not given. We had 10 guest not show and they didn’t have food for our grandson who woke up as last guest was served. Not sure where our food went that should have been available

Workers tossed out our leftover cake and light up props before event ended

Workers constantly removed peoples full drinks and even took away peoples specialty cups we ordered separately from another vendor. This happened entire night. Frustrating we couldn’t enjoy our things.

Bartenders were unable to make simple drinks. We requested no tipping as we would pay ourselves. We later learned bartenders were accepting tips then took our tip as well.

Bar presented as wine only. We had an open bar but none of their alcohol was visible to guests as they had pre poured wine with ice on bar. They dont have things like limes or garnishes. Venue ran out of water well before event ended.

If you use venue have someone like your own coordinator monitor employee activity. They were clearing tables of everything with more than an hour of reception time. You have a full hour after reception time to clear out your things so employees should not be tossing or removing your things as they did before actual reception ends.

The venue is beautiful. Planning coordinators say all the right things but if you don’t have your own person watching out for you things aren’t followed through as promised. We had a great wedding in spite of their unprofessional service. I attribute most of that to the many helpers my family and friends provided. If you are able to plan for these negative things you can also have a nice wedding here.

I spoke and worked directly with Brittney S who answered my hundred questions about all the different venues associated with this company and made sure I was 100% educated with each one. She met with me a couple times and helped me find my perfect venue at hidden pines lake houston! My family & I were even sad to hear that she passes the torch along to a planner/coordinator to work with me through the planning process because we wished it was her! She always responded to my texts immediately even in the late evenings. She is one of the reasons I wanted to stick with this company because I felt like my wedding mattered to her and not just the money spent! Thank you a million Brittney S!!!

We have been in contact with Brittney S and she has been AMAZING!! The first venue we look at was out of our budget, and Brittney sent over a bunch of information on other venues and found us our perfect venue!!

Exceptional experience at this wedding venue! The venue itself is stunning. Andrea was our planner. She was organized and so incredibly helpful throughout the whole wedding planning process. Ely, the coordinator, was incredibly attentive, ensuring every detail was perfect. Candy's assistance was invaluable—she handled everything with a smile. Special shoutout to Michelle, the amazing bartender who crafted the best drinks. A dream team that made our night truly unforgettable! Thank you so much for the best day ever!

Do not have your wedding here. There was so many things that was paid for was not done. Sheila the main lady we dealt with was bad. Every thing we ask for she said no. Very rude. Then she and one of staff accused one of guest of doing something he did not do. Called the police. Then the two woman had a big argument in lobby saying one said it and the other said they did not . This was in front of guest in lobby Sheilia made all guest come out before the party was over. Screamed for every one to get out. Scared every body. One present girl fell. She had to go to emergency room. The police said if we had called instead of Sheila. they would have made the employee leave and let us finish our party. Not all were bad Just 3 of woman in charge. People left there stuff in dinning room could go bad and it.
The people that gave party had to lot of there stuff. It was bad situation.Check out other places. We have pictures of two employees arguing in lobby accusing a young man of something he didn't do. They could say it was him. keep saying a different color of shirt the kid had on. People Sid they put put this down as a false report.

OMG! Andrea G you are phenomenal. I literally worried about absolutely nothing the day of my wedding. I knew everthing was going which allowed me to be present and just enjoy my day 🥰

I am SO happy we decided to go with Hidden Pines for our wedding day. The team there was AMAZING! We worked with Nicole from the beginning and she was the best! She was always helpful and extremely responsive and truly made the whole planning process as easy and stress free as possible. We were really looking for an all/mostly inclusive venue so we wouldn't have to worry about coordinating and bringing in a bunch of different vendors. Everything that was in house at Hidden Pines (DJ/photobooth, catering, bar, tables/chairs/linens) was great but wanted to give a special shoutout to DJ Alexander. He was so fun and had the perfect playlist for our party and kept people on the dance floor all night which was so important to us! Also, our bartender (unfortunately I didn't get his name) was excellent. I believe we were supposed to have 2 but one didn't show up so I was worried the bar would be slow and people would be waiting in line but he absolutely killed it! And the 2 signature drinks we got to choose were delicious. Also, our guests made so many comments on how beautiful the venue was and how well designed and comfortable it was.

So many people told us that our wedding was one of the best they have ever been to and it would not have been possible without Nicole and her team. We are so grateful to everyone at Hidden Pines for helping us make our wedding day the best ever!

This venue was so BEAUTIFUL! The staff were all so incredibly nice! The day of the wedding they were so helpful and patient. They kept telling me don’t worry about the time because today is your day. They really made me feel special on the big day. Extremely attentive as well! It’s unfortunate that I didn’t have my reception here, but I highly highly recommend this venue!!!
