Hilary is incredible!

Hilary was a dream to work with! She is not only an absolutely incredible photographer, but she is a total life savor and champion of the bride. She is one of the most authentic people I’ve ever met. She’s kind, creative, funny and so personable! We felt relaxed and comfortable from the moment we met with her, and she will have you laughing all the way through. Look no further ya’ll- she is truly a gem and we are so lucky to have worked with her. She really does go above and beyond for her couples. Our guests are still mentioning how amazing she is!

The Best Photographer in NH

My partner and I decided to elope in NH so that we could have our most important people join us. We knew we wanted to find someone who was really going to click with us and understand our vision for the day which was "Nothing fancy, just love." From our first email with Hilary we knew we had found the perfect photographer for our day. She was hilarious, open, and completely understood what we were looking for. When we told her that we both suffer from chronic pain issues she assured us that we would go at our pace and only do the shots we wanted. She made every aspect of booking her as easy as possible. On the day of she arrived with an entire plan and list of areas on the property we would take photos and planned it so it was as minimal physical effort and strain as possible. She was so reassuring that any anxiety just melted away. She captured absolutely every important moment of the day and put together the most incredible sneak peek video that had us literally bawling tears of joy the next day in a Target parking lot. Our photos have turned out incredibly with every ounce of joy we felt coming through every picture. Hilary is truly an amazing photographer and human and you will not go wrong having her be a part of your special events. Thank you so much Hilary!

Amazing Photos and Kind Person

Hilary is amazing! Not only does she take amazing photographs, but she is also an incredibly kind person! She helped us stay relaxed prior to the ceremony and kept the children engaged during the post ceremony photoshoot. Amazing Experience!

Hilary is great to work with and we were so happy with our decision! We got to know Hilary at our engagement session and love her eye to capture the right moment. She was great at our wedding as well, keeping things moving and on time, while also making sure she captured all the moments we wanted. We also had Hilary do a day after trash the dress session which was a blast! We got lots of comments from our family and friends on her professionalism and the way she works! She is also great with communication and responds fairly quick to any questions you may have. My favorite part of working with Hilary is that she shows you photos as she is shooting! I can't wait to see all of our pictures!! If you are an adventure seeking person and just want to have a good time while taking pictures hire Hilary!

You need to hire Hilary! She is the absolute best, so personable and funny, my whole wedding party loved her! We just got our wedding photos back and I am in love with every single one! She really captured our perfect day (and all the laughs we had) and I am so excited that I have these amazing photos to cherish forever! She was worth every penny! My mom just said these are the best wedding photos she has ever seen :)

WOW!!! Words can not describe how amazing and talented Hilary is!!!! She is so creative, and artistic, and I seriously love her perspective on weddings and how she captures what is unique about every couple she works with. Having Hilary as your photographer means you get SO much more then just then capturing the most beautiful photos possible, she is absolutely incredible at her job and making the entire wedding day run smoothly!!! All of my family members and bridal party and friends raved about how well she delegated what shots were next, keeping time, and most importantly, she made EVERYONE feel so comfortable and happy. (My bridesmaids have all been married or in weddings and they all said Hilary was the best photographer they have worked with- seriously!) Her second shooter, Sarah was also so sweet and really was so encouraging when I was a nervous bride.
The second best part of working with Hilary was her suggestion to hire Oxford Media Films for our wedding video. They have a package deal that combines the photo and video and it was SO WORTH IT!!!! The reason the two have paired up is because they work so well together, and after my wedding day I totally get it!!! They already had their groove down so they knew what to expect from each other. Who needed what shot, the photographer did not get in the way of the videographer because they have worked together so many time it was harmony! I felt at ease being around them on my wedding day because there was no tension and all positive vibes from them. If I had to do it all over again I would hire them both in a heart beat!!!
So in a nutshell, Hilary is seriously THE BEST wedding photographer I could have ever imagined. Not only is her work SO BEAUTIFUL but she is just the sweetest person who will make your wedding day even better than you expected. Thank you for capturing the most special day of my life, Hilary!!!!

Hilary photographed our engagement session and our wedding which was this past Sept. What I love about her, is that her passion for photography is SO evident. She makes you feel like these photos are as important to her as they are to you. She goes above and beyond (and I mean was literally IN a pond taking photos at our wedding!) to get the best shot. Our photos are truly stunning. I have gotten so many compliments. I could not have asked for anything more and would not change a single thing.

Hilary was absolutely amazing, as is her photography! She was very easy to contact and work with, and she made the flow of the wedding day very easy. She was full of helpful suggestions and very down to earth. She was breaking it down with us at the reception and made everything very comfortable. She posted a sneak peak of our photos and they look incredible...I can't wait to see the rest of my album! Her website explains everything to the detail and she was nice enough to contact me when I had told her I was interested in using her, and let me pick my photography package before she (rightfully so) raised her prices. I loved working with her so much that I would be willing to go back home just for professional pictures.

Hilary was simply an amazing photographer. She was accommodating, funny, professional and so sweet. Between our engagement session and our wedding day we spent a good amount of time together, and I'm so happy so was a part of our day. From corralling people, to telling me I looked pretty, to dancing the night away while taking photos, she felt like a cohesive part of our wedding--not like an outsider just taking pictures. Throughout the day she wasn't shy about asking us to take more photos--explaining that she just wanted to make sure we had enough great shots to choose from, which I definitely appreciated. Overall, she's an amazing photographer and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her!

Hilary was amazing...she helped keep us to our timeline and helped with the many emotions a new bride goes through! She captured all the important moments and was extremely flexible with last minute changes! Worked well with my event planner and dj! I've yet to see my photos however i had a chance to peek at few on my big day and they were stunning,even before edits. Hilary is the perfect photographer to share your special day. It was a big help to us that she offered a payment plan as well. Very reasonable!

Let me start by saying that Hilary is amazing! From the first time we met through my wedding she has been nothing but professional. I first heard about Hilary through a friend who was also using her as a photographer. I was on a fairly tight budget but I did not want to compromise the quality of my photos, with Hilary I did not have to. Her pricing beat the others I was considering by a long shot! She also offers payment plans, no other photographer we looked at did this. The day of our wedding she was just as professional and took care to get the couple shots I requested. She also was on the dance floor breaking it down with us while getting the shot. Hilary kept right up with our bridal party, which is no easy task. I've seen the sneak peak of the photos and I KNOW the rest will be just as amazing. She has the fastest turnaround times out of all the photographers we looked at. I would HIGHLY recommend Hilary Colleen Photography for your wedding.

Hilary was very easy to work with, made sure to ask me lots of questions about what I wanted and was very flexible. My wedding day started out extremely hot (90 degrees) and the ceremony had to be postponed by a massive thunderstorm (almost had to evacuate the tent kind of massive) and Hilary took the change in ceremony location and timing in stride. She quickly had a plan and was able to guide my groom and I through the events.

I also had a wedding venue owner who can be hard to work with and Hilary handled it very professionally.

We got our pictures very fast (two weeks I think) and the fact that the bride and groom get to keep the rights of the pictures is a huge plus in my book. She is a great deal, very responsive to emails and easy to work with. She really knows weddings and guided a nervous bride and groom with ease.

Amazing, amazing, amazing which is all I can say!
After speaking with Hilary, I knew she was the one. She is amazing, she took us on in a very short time frame also! We wanted a winter wedding and most of our photos outdoors –this is who we are and wanted the wedding pictures to be reflective of this.
She has such a wonderful personality, fun, and genuine. The “formal” photos were done in maybe 15 minutes, she knew her stuff, what to do, and when. Others who were in previous weddings had already begun to comment at how great she was their “photographer tied us up for hours, dinner was late and cold”, and when watching Hilary-“she is amazing”. As my mom was explaining to our guests how she thought Hilary’s portfolio was great- there are great photographers, but they are not great “wedding” photographers and Hilary was the “perfect wedding photographer”- we were outside in the snow getting our pictures taken. When my guests looked out the window, Hilary was literally WAIST deep in the snow doing her job for us (she did this all day)- and smiling! Every one of our guests were watching her in amazement-she was truly amazing. She fit in with our guests and family as if she was one of us. She really went above and beyond all of our expectations! She is a wonderful person and will do anything to help make the day amazing, she was a big help for us overall. Everyone at the wedding was so amazed with her, they all were impressed just as we were. I would highly recommend Hilary without hesitation, you will not be disappointed. We are already looking forward to booking her for future photos. She is fun, professional and genuine, she will do anything to make your day “just perfect”. She takes away any worries you may have and knows just what needs to happen. I cannot express how much we appreciated her and the work she did. She is the whole package –and soon to be a bride herself! We wish her all the best.

Hilary did such a fantastic job with both our engagement photos and our wedding photos. She was creative, professional, and very down-to-earth. My fiance and I are not very stuffy people, and she really let our personalities shine through in the photos. When we were looking at photographers, I was nervous because there were a lot of photographers that took very still, posed, and structured photos. Hilary was exactly what we were looking for! She has a modern style that I was so grateful for. I absolutely love the pictures and I can't wait to get them printed and framed :)

Her prices were the best I'd found in the Southern NH area for what we were looking for. We actually looked at more expensive photography companies (the big Boston ones included), and Hilary took much better photos at a much better price.

She is also very quick to get them back--I think we had a sneak peek on Facebook (about 10 images) two days later! I loved that they were on Facebook so everyone could see. She even lets you use them as your profile/cover photo :) We were able to see all of them (and order prints) two weeks later through her customer portal!

I would very highly recommend her to anyone for their wedding photos. She's great and very easy to work with!

The most beautiful pictures!

When choosing a wedding photographer, we were very picky and wanted the best. Hilary is top of the line, and she was wonderful to work with. I am very surprised by 5 star reviews. Maybe I must have had a bad experience, but I think that you could do so much better. I got married almost 3 years ago, in February. As a photographer, I would assume that you would be prepared for whatever kind of weather there is. Of course, it was snowing/ raining on my wedding day which was perfect in all reality, as the reason I wanted to get married in the winter was because of the snow. You see so many pictures on Pinterest that capture this but apparently that was out of the question. We took all of my pictures inside of the church. I have about 3 pictures of my husband and I that are decent. There are only a few of us at the reception and it seemed like their main focus was everyone around us. I understand that you want to capture your guests having fun, but seriously? I don't need 100 photos of everyone else and only a few of us. I am so disappointed and want to cry every time I see my friends wedding photos. I've been in numerous weddings and I feel as though their photographers had so much direction, vision, and knew what would or wouldn't look good. Their photos were captured SO much better. It's sad that this was one day that I want to remember forever but the photos are so terrible that I don't even want to show anyone. There is nothing I can do now, but I feel as though someone should know...

Do not hire this gal if you are looking for a professional photographer. She was abrupt with the family and was overwhelmed by her task.

The pictures came out terrible. out of focus, no thought to composition more of a point and shoot. the images were washed out, no details of dress, no intimate moments, no creativity. In such a beautiful spot such as Jackson, NH we have phone wires in the pictures..., faces are blurry, sun spots, too much useless information in the perimeters of the pictures that take away from the subject, brides face was hidden in many, no effort on guest shots...just one huge disappointment of lack of talent and it was such an incredibly beautiful day. Luckily our guests took some nice photos
