  Best Food Ever

  They did an amazing job. Super professional. Everything looked great. The food was amazing and we had multiple people tell us that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. All of their staff was super nice and helpful too. And Cara, our point of contact, was very responsive and easy to work with. Definitely a good choice.

  Delicious and a great value

  Hillsborough BBQ did a lovely job. In the planning stages before the wedding, Cara and her team were very responsive and helped us pick out a perfect menu for our guests. They provided kegs of beer at an extremely reasonable price and even helped us chill the wine we bought ourselves before the wedding day. Our venue had a short load-in time because it’s a working children’s museum, but the team handled things flawlessly. The servers and bartenders were friendly and professional throughout the event. Most importantly, the food itself was utterly delicious (and VERY good value for the money) and our guests were still talking the next day about how much they enjoyed their dinners. I would recommend them to any couple looking for a low key but tasty buffet meal for their wedding.

  We used HBBQ for our wedding this past weekend. They catered, served, and bar tended. They were great! They were easy, and I didn't have to worry about a thing. I have never gotten so many compliments on food! I would highly recommend!

  HBBQ was great to work with and provided absolutely delicious food for our casual wedding reception. The owner met with us in person to plan our menu and all the details. The whole team of servers and bar tenders were fun, easy-going and professional. Our wedding guests ate as much as they could and raved about all the food. We appreciated that HBBQ could label dishes as gluten-free, vegan, or vegetarian since we had several guests who needed to know those details. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough!

  HBBQ was amazing for our wedding! We have received many compliment on their food and service at our wedding. Not only was the food and service great but throughout the whole planning process they were open to whatever questions we had. They also gave us ideas on places to reduce costs and gave suggestions on places that we were really uncertain. They never seemed surprised or unenthusiastic about any idea we asked for. There is no doubt we would choose them all over again!

  Hillsborough BBQ is great! They were incredible and professional at every turn, and we got a HUGE number of compliments from guests about the food. I would have liked to have been able to pay in full in advance rather than leaving the dancing to pay during the event, but that wasn't a big deal. I will be eating left over ribs for days and I am thrilled about it!

  I had Hillsborough BBQ Cater my wedding this fall, and the food was absolutely phenomenal. Joel, the owner, is absolutely amazing and worked with us on every aspect of the wedding. While Joel and the Servers were awesome, even helping us cut and serve our pies, I can't say the same about the bar tenders. They didn't have the best rapport with my guests, and frankly didn't know how to mix drinks too well. I would simply hire private bartenders separately, and I highly doubt Joel would care at all! Food is amazing and well worth it!

  I cannot say enough about this wonderful team! The food was amazing! The crew were so attentive and sweet. They decorated the tables the way I wanted and did such a good job taking care of the guests!
