Lori is absolutely amazing. I can be kind of an anxious/nervous person and she completely calmed me down and kept me reassured on the week leading up to the wedding day. She is very quick to return calls and emails, and will pull any strings she needs to in order to make you happy. She knows the business and knows weddings. The food at the Hilton is AMAZING, prices are pretty reasonable for a hotel wedding, and the resort itself is extremely unique. Our ceremony on the golf course was beautiful, and the reception ran perfectly smoothly. We didn't have lines for drinks and the appetizers were delicious! I highly recommend the martini bar as it comes with a gorgeous ice sculpture they pour the martinis through. The staff was so friendly. We even had an after party at Izzy & Moe's which was a blast. The penthouse suites are GORGEOUS with wrap around views of the golf course. I could go on and on... there is not a single detail I would change about my day. This hotel is absolutely beautiful. I only had three months of planning for our wedding day, and I was blessed to have the chance to work with Lori- she directs the wedding events. She was so amazing and would respond to me immediately. My wedding was in December- which made this hotel perfect since you didn't have to go outside from the ceremony to the reception hall it was all connected. Lori was there for me throughout the whole process. She is so amazing and experienced with her job. I would have been so lost without her and appreciated all of her help during the whole entire process with planning and even on the day of. I recommend this hotel to anyone who is either having a summer or winter wedding- this is a perfect spot. For the rehearsal, Lori was there to guide and help everyone figure out where to stand and the whole process for how the ceremony was going to happen. I am so happy that this is where we had our wedding, and I couldn't have been as happy without Lori's support and help with everything, literally. Perfect and beautiful spot for any wedding of any size! <3This hotel is absolutely beautiful. AMAZING!!!! We used the Indian Lakes Resort for our wedding reception on October 18th. Amazing experience. I can't say more good things about this venue. Food was amazing, venue is beautiful, and the staff is outstanding. Lori was who helped my husband and I and my family along the way with planning our reception. I felt so at ease during that entire time working with her. She gives wonderful advice and provided amazing communication throughout our entire planning process. She's amazing and truly went above and beyond at times. I would recommend this venue to ANYONE! My husband and I also felt it was a great value. We also used the restaurant on the resort property for our rehearsal dinner. Excellent! The atmosphere, food, and staff again were all everything I would have wanted.;AMAZING!!!! When my first venue fell through several months before my wedding, Lori and her team at Indian Lakes jumped in and saved the day. We truly feel like it happened for a reason, and our wedding was even better than it would have been at our original venue.
We wanted our wedding to feel more like a backyard party than a formal affair, and Lori suggested the East Pavilion Tent. While weddings are not usually held in the pavilions, Lori understood our vision and ran with it. She was great about answering questions, solving problems, and replying to emails. She helped us plan the perfect party and everything went so smoothly.
Our guests raved about our venue, and they're still talking about it. Lori and Chef Tim helped us create an amazing menu - sliders, salads, pastas, ice cream sundaes. The buffet was an absolute smorgasbord, and we had dozens of people tell us it was the best wedding food they ever had. The white tent and white linens looked more elegant than I ever could have imagined, and the service staff was excellent.
I can't thank Lori and Indian Lakes enough. We had our 2 day Indian wedding at Hilton Indian Lakes resort.
To start off, I can't say enough how helpful Lori Laporte, the director of catering, was in our wedding planning. After officially sidelining Lori one Saturday morning about 6 months before the wedding, we knew we were in good hands. She coordinated all of our vendors (including the decorator, whom she met with individually, the lighting team, etc) , and essentially was our catering manager and wedding planner. She was amazing, thoughtful, kind, and is truly the best at her job. I would have paid her extra for essentially being our planner! She knew the questions to ask, the items that needed to be taken care of, including getting chairs in and out of different locations, sending the waitstaff in at the right time, and was easily reachable by phone or email. We can't say enough how amazing it was to have her running the show, and we knew if we needed something, we could go to Lori and she would already have it covered. Jamil, the hotel manager, was also fantastic and very pleasant, and easy to work with, and was able to set aside rooms for guests for a very good rate.
The venue itself is stunning, from the hotel atrium, to the outdoor tent, to the ballroom. An uncle of ours who's business includes owning a hotel was full of nothing but praise for the hotel staff that helped set up and serve at all of the events. The guest rooms and bridal suite were fantastic, and the many bars were also helpful for our friends as it was a dry wedding. The kids who attended loved it too--there's a pool with a waterslide and mini golf, along with a golf course for the "older kids" :) The cake provided by Domino's pastries for the ceremony was also beautiful, delicious, and made exactly to our specifications.
All in all, we had nothing but an amazing experience with Lori and Hilton Indian Lakes. The beautiful venue was host to our ceremony and we could not have had it in a better place. We had our 2 day Indian wedding at Hilton Indian Lakes resort.

We had our wedding here on October 22, 2011 and it was just beautiful! We had our ceremony in the atrium (what an amazing place for pictures!) and our reception in the Trilium ballroom. From the very start, we dealt with Lori, who was amazing and to say the very least, completely on top of the game from the start. She was very easy to get a hold of and very good about getting you answers. She was there on our rehearsal to help guide us to where we would arrive from and stand during the ceremony. On the day of the wedding she was absolutely flawless and made sure everything went smoothly.
The Venue itself is amazing. It was designed by a student of Frank Lloyd Wright and it shows in the design. The windows in the atrium, the design of the ballroom (octagon) and the guest room designs were outstanding. The food was delicious, we have had so many compliments on the food and service since our day. The food came out hot, the service was spot on and the bar never had more than three or four people at it all night. I can't say enough about this venue, I would definately recommend Indian Lakes to anyone looking for an absolutely gorgeous place to get married! We had our wedding here on October 22, 2011 and it was just beautiful! I love this place. Great venue to have your wedding reception, especially if you have a lot of out of towners. Lori Selvaggi was our catering manager that we worked with. She did an awesome job having all our requests taken care of. If you are planning to have your wedding reception here, make sure you book early so you can get the best deal/price.I love this place. Absolutely recommend Indian Lakes! Beautiful and very reasonable in price considering all that was included. The staff was all so friendly and helpful and genuinely happy for my husband and I. The food was outstanding!!!! All the guests had a great time, most got rooms within the resort for a discounted price and once the reception hall was closed (Midnight) there is an on-site after hours bar! We got a free Honeymoon suite both on the night of our wedding and on our 1-year anniversary. The cake was included. Oh! the best part was that since there are so many rooms available, we got a free upgrade to one of the top-floor banquet rooms (Usually double the price) but since there was one available, we were able to use it free of charge!!!!Absolutely recommend Indian Lakes! Just had our wedding here about 2 weeks ago and everything came together very well. We worked with Lori and she was amazing. If I had a question, I would get a response in no more than a day which was great. She was also honest and upfront about everything, there was never a moment where I questioned her or the resort. The service the day of was wonderful, the staff was great.
We had Trillium 1, fitting 165 people in there pretty well. It was a beautiful room as well, I fell in love instantly with it.
We also really liked that one of the bars were still open after the wedding so people could continue the party if they wanted.
With our package, we are able to go back for one night free on our one year which as of now, we are planning on doing. Working with Lori was fantastic. She is very on top of her game. She was flexible & accomodating, which was especially great for our out-of-the-country guests who stayed a week at the hotel. The food was really great--and many guests said it was the best steak they'd had at a wedding. Our vegetarian entree (which I ate) was delicious & those who chose it were equally impressed. Everything was beautiful, too. They decorated the sweet table & late night food tables, which I didn't know would happen, and they looked amazing!
The one snag was that there were 2 weddings & they served us the other wedding's cake. I was up & about, so we didn't realize it until the whole room had been served. I'm still totally bummed that other wedding got my choclate & banana cake (which I did get a piece of later) while my wedding got their boring white cake w/buttercream filling!

Aside from the bride and groom check-in issues everything was wonderful. Thank you to the staff at Hilton Lakes Indian Resort. We have not heard anything, but great responses from our guests. We had a great experience with Indian Lakes. They were great about getting back to us and answering our questions throughout the entire process. The biggest issue I had with them was that they had promised that there would only be two weddings in the upstairs area. We had confirmed and checked several times about this, but the day of the wedding there were three receptions going on upstairs. When we first walked in with our guests there were an overwhelming amount of people. It was a little confusing for our guests. There was also only one bathroom area for the 3 weddings upstairs and the high school reunion downstairs. At times the bathrooms were not kept up well.We had a great experience with Indian Lakes. Overall, the venue was great. My day was wonderful. Unfortunately, we kind of got pushed off to the side because we were the smallest of three weddings taking place at the same time.Overall, the venue was great. My day was wonderful.
