Hilton Durham near Duke University Reviews

Chelsea is WONDERFUL!!! We paid for a third of our wedding reception here with travel points!!! Since it’s a hotel it billed out as a travel expense even though catering was included!!!!

We decided to have our wedding reception at the Hilton Durham near Duke University since our ceremony was being held at Duke Chapel. From the very beginning of hiring them, through the end of the reception, they did an AMAZING job!!! All of the hotel staff was extremely accommodating and polite throughout the year of planning, and of course on the day of the wedding. Antwanne Best, the catering manager, was always extremely helpful during the planning process. He really helped put together the reception we always dreamed of! The food was phenomenal, the décor came together beautifully, and the attentiveness of the staff made everyone feel like royalty. Another huge plus is that the hotel was recently renovated to make it feel like a high class hotel. We did not have one thing go wrong at the reception and had the best night of our lives. We highly recommend hosting your wedding events at the Hilton Durham, you will not be disappointed!

The Hilton was a great place to have our wedding. The Hilton team was fantastic. Everything happened without us realizing it had happened. We didn't have to worry about a thing. I would highly recommend the Hilton for a wedding venue!

I had my wedding ceremony and reception at the Hilton Durham near Duke University and had a wonderful experience! Sarah Huggins, the catering manager at the Hilton was SO helpful throughout the entire process. She works with all couples regardless of their budgets to make their day special. She is very prompt in her responses and very organized and thorough. The staff is TERRIFIC as well and they handled EVERYTHING including putting the favors on the tables for the reception as well as managing the gift table. Don't let the name Hilton fool you into thinking that they've going to be overly expensive--this particular Hilton is definitely worth checking out!
