The wedding went off with no problems. The staff was great and accomodating.

Everyone we dealt with from the event coordinator to the bartender was awesome. So accommodating from start to finish!! Amidst all this crazy COVID nonsense, they were able to give us a perfect wedding day!

The journey to get to my wedding day was not the easiest! I was originally supposed to get married on May 22, 2020. But, covid came and made sure that didn’t happen! I had to reschedule to June 26th, but that still couldn’t happen! I finally was able to have my wedding on August 21, 2020. The dunes manor hotel was fantastic about switching days and worked with me the whole time! They made it as stress free as they could! I couldn’t have picked a better place to have my reception!

We had an excellent experience from the planning through the day of! Everyone raved about the food and beverages. We would definitely recommend!

Dunes Manor provided a gorgeous back drop for our wedding. We had a smaller wedding 40 of our closest family and friends. The Veranza room was perfect and the wing that included the room, gorgeous deck that was made private and the hallway had bathrooms. So even though we were in this huge place it felt very private and cozy.

The staff at the Dunes is top notch. They were there every step of the way to guide me and make sure my day was everything I imagined. My day could not have been the day it was without Joanne and Joe. Through 2 years of planning Joanne was respectful, professional, and organized. While I had met Joe when I officially booked the Dunes, it wasn't until the weekend of the wedding that I got to see just how amazing of a maitre d he was. He made sure I had nothing to worry about and essentially took all the planning out of my hands. Thank you to the amazing service staff at the Dunes as well, you all made sure I was eating and staying hydrated all weekend! We are looking forward to spending our wedding anniversaries here with you in the future!!

The Dunes Manor Hotel was a wonderful place to have our small wedding! Their deck was perfect for our ceremony, with the ocean in the background. The food was delicious and the service was excellent! The staff was very accommodating and helped to make every detail just right.

I wanted to have my ceremony at the beach, but not on the beach. The Dunes has a deck that overlooks the ocean that was perfect for the size of our wedding. They also have a room you can reserve in the event of inclement weather, still facing the ocean. There are 2 ballrooms available for the reception, depending on the size of your wedding. The Bride was able to stay the night before the wedding (complimentary) in a room that was used on the day of the wedding for all the girls to get ready. The Bride and Groom also received a complimentary room the night of the wedding. The Groom was able to check in early to that room and the groomsmen were able to get ready in that room as well. The getting ready rooms, ceremony, reception, and hotel were all in the same building to make it very convenient for everyone.
Joanne was very on the ball as far as planning and details. She was polite, professional, and very thorough. She was very accommodating and willing to work with you on details and prices of things. She was easy to contact by phone or by email.
The event staff was awesome, specifically Joe. Joe was there to help us set up the ballroom the day before and help us decide where things needed to go. He was very open to suggestions and wanted the room to be however we wanted it to look. Joe was also very polite and professional at all times.
The day of the wedding, there were plenty of staff members there to help put the final touches on everything. The back wall of the reception room was open and we were able to see the ocean through the windows throughout the reception. At the end of the night, the staff was there to help pack everything up and get it ready for me to take out the next day.
My overall experience at the Dunes Manor was awesome. If you are looking for a beautiful venue with even prettier views, choose the Dunes!!

Joanne did an amazing job helping me plan the big day. After we checked in, they sent a cookie tray up to our 2 and 3 year old boys. It was a little gesture, but it made their whole day. And it meant the world to me that the hotel did something to make the kids feel special.

They were very helpful with quick responses. Beautiful hotel, oceanfront, reception room was just perfect.

We had our ceremony and wedding reception at the Dunes in early October and it was absolutely perfect. The Dunes Manor is beautiful inside and out. The food was amazing, everyone loved it. The staff were awesome and took care of everything. The Dunes is also a hotel which was great for out of town guests, especially since every room is oceanfront with a balcony. The Dunes is the best option for a beach wedding in Ocean City, MD.

Our daughter's wedding took place this past Saturday in the beautiful Verrazano Room. Every detail was meticulously attended to by Joanne, Angie, Caffie and other staff members. They were all very professional, yet sensitive to bride and mother of the bride jitters! We had last minute guest add-ons that were tended to immediately. As much as we tried to have all of our planning done well in advance, it was clear that flexibility was vital--and the staff responded.
We were very pleased with our menu options. We chose baked rockfish, steak, and pasta primavera, as well as numerous appetizers--pass around and stationary. All of the food was delicious and plentiful.
The rooms are beautiful, clean and have balconies overlooking the ocean.
We plan to come back to Ocean City and Dunes Manor in the future and highly recommend it!

Nobody can predict the weather for their wedding but everyone at the Dunes was great with coming up with a few backup plans for our big day! Great staff!

Everything was amazing and exceptional from the service to the food, the hotel itself and all the staff. Joanne and Angie were extremely helpful during the process of planning the reception. Everything flowed smoothly, guests loved the hotel, the deck, the service, and the access to the beach. Hands down, BEST hotel ever and couldn't have found a better location to host our wedding reception.

I planned my wedding on the beach right outside of Dunes Manor hotel and had the reception inside the hotel. It was the perfect wedding and I am so happy we chose Dunes Manor. The event planning staff was efficient and responsive, and the wedding was affordable!
They were also very accommodating to all requests that we made and they offered to help with everything, going above and beyond. The decorations provided by the hotel were beautiful. The rooms for all of the guests were very nice and had amazing views from the balconies. We are so happy that we chose Dunes Manor for our big day and I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Erin Mclaughlin is the best. She went above and beyond to make our special day special. The staff at The Dunes Manor is exceptional. The banquet crew was amazing. Thanks to them our wedding was fabulous!!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience and an amazing wedding! The only thing we realized after the fact is the kids didn’t get their kids meals of chicken nuggets. But other than that it was perfect!

They have a good variety of foods and are willing to work with you on menu. They just don't do beach weddings on their property which is what we are looking for

It was our dream wedding. Over charged for food and drinks we did not get. Paid for package and did lack of communication ended up with no cold hors d’oeuvres and champagne.
No response from coordinator regarding refund or solution to make us whole. Hotel reservations associated with out of town guests’ was a nightmare. Little disappointed.

We had a wonderful day. Just some minor concerns in the planning process. Staff was very friendly and kind.

I began planning my wedding a year prior to the event. We went to dunes manor and decided this would be it for the ceremony and reception. It is absolutely beautiful, clean and not to mention the view. We met with Joanne the director of sales and marketing approx 5 times through the planning process. For taste testing, planing and preparing. The meetings were organized and well thought out. The responsiveness in emails was mediocre but she did answer all questions eventually. The day before the wedding (Friday) I was told to check into the bridal suite Thursday evening if needed. I checked in Friday evening and brought my friends and family to help set up and see the venue. We went to the room after the key was given to us. The room was dirty, old plates and uncleaned. I called them and they went to clean it. In the mean time I decided to go and check the reception area where I was told everything would be set up. It was not. Joanne was abrasive and unapologetic. She said the banquet manager “ didn’t get to it”. She was frankly rude to me (the bride). Joe the banquet manager arrived and set it up apologized and explained the reason for the delay. That was fixed and continued on. I was then told joe would be with me for rehearsal and wedding he does that all. Not Joanne whom I have explained all my details and plans to for a year. Although Joe was amazing knew exactly what to put where and how the flow should go. He did an amazing job at rehearsal and the day of. The day of the wedding we were told to go to the suite until the entrance and we had two rooms I verified which room several times. The bridal party Arrived and we were locked out. Wasting precious time. Prior to the ceremony I had to call and make sure things were set up and the groom wasn’t there since I would be coming down. . . Basic wedding etiquette. I set up a lot and planned and decorated all things with my own ideas. I would chose dunes manor again. It is beautiful. They did have two weddings that day and I believe that was difficult for the staff. I couldn’t find the banquet manager at times because he was in between two weddings. With a few improvements it would be perfect.

Great atmosphere, great decor, great service. My only complaints is that we went for a tasting a few months earlier and the food on the wedding day was very different. We selected 5 beers for them to carry and they didn't have 3 of the 5 we requested so we had to go out and buy beer ourselves. Aside from that it was a very good experience.
