We are so glad to have chosen Hilton Palacio del Rio as our wedding reception venue! Our ceremony was next door at the Little Church of La Villita and then it was a quick walk to our reception room downstairs in The Stetson Room. The year prior we were instantly sold once we saw how beautiful the Stetson Room was, and the day of the wedding didn’t disappoint either. This venue was a very affordable option for downtown San Antonio, especially considering all the awesome amenities that came with the wedding package. It offered a lot more than other venues that I have toured. The location on the Riverwalk was absolutely perfect for our out-of-town wedding guests to enjoy. The event staff coordinated their in-house catering service perfectly with our wedding timeline and also handled the outside vendors we expected the day of the wedding. We took advantage of the bridal ready-room with lunch package and enjoyed a nice spread of sandwiches, skewers, fruits and cheeses along with mimosas. The dinner was so good! All our guests enjoyed their meals and portion sizes were perfect, no one was hungry at the end of the night. The event and hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. There was excellent communication from scheduling our very first tour to our farewell day after the wedding!

I couldn't have asked for a better venue! The Palacio Del Rio was so amazing! My reception in the Salon Del Rey was perfect, the room was so big. I got compliments all night on how amazing the food was! The hotel staff April, Yari, and Roberto I could not have done it with out yall! Thank you for making our special day unforgettable! My tables and linen's were incredible. Everything was perfect.

I am so glad we made the decision to have our wedding at the Hilton. It was so convenient and beautiful. The spaces were perfect, the food was DELICIOUS and creative and they staff was incredibly helpful. Everyone had a blast and I know the Hilton had a lot to do with that.

I was very pleased with our experience. Our coordinator, Marisol, was extremely attentive and went above and beyond her call of duty. All questions were answered promptly and even our last minute changes (the day before) were not a problem. Our banquet captain was amazing. Our ceremony was on the Garden Terrace and was wonderfully beautiful. We used the Stetson Room for our reception and I was taken away by how beautiful everything turned out. The scenery and background for our pictures was breathtaking.The only complaint was that we didn't get the extra plates we paid for. (They were suppose to be boxed up.) We also regret not asking for our left over cake. However I have no regrets about choosing this location for my ceremony and reception.

All in all the Hilton provided exceptional service and the wedding was a beautiful night.

On the pricey side but if it's your dream it'll be perfect! Don't have to mess with catering since you are paying for food and drinks to have the venue. Also, our food was delicious, everyone loved it, beyond your typical hotel wedding food! Some centerpieces included, I used them every other table combined with my flower centerpieces to save on floral budget

The Hilton was a great location for our wedding and reception. We were on the Riverwalk, so out of town guests had other activities for the weekend.

We worked with both Nikki and Nicole--our original coordinator had to "hand us off" to another coordinator about a month and a half before the wedding, due to a scheduling conflict. However, both coordinators were professional and very helpful! We did have to follow up with some of our e-mails, but all of our questions were answered, and they are willing to work with you on tweaking the details.

Our banquet captain was awesome--he even helped me and the bridesmaids in setting up the favors. The reception looked terrific--I would recommend working with their lighting company, but make sure they don't overcharge for the lighting.

The wedding and reception were beautiful--I definitely recommend this location to other brides.
