We were very pleased with everyone at the Seelbach. The wedding was beautiful and we could not have asked the staff to be any nicer and easy to work with.

The best experience we will never forget

I was a covid bride. 8 days out from our postponed wedding date (at a different venue in Indiana) we were notified that our guest list could only be 25 people due to state regulations. I cannot recommend Heather enough to any of my fellow brides. She and my mother in law threw together a covid friendly celebration for our friends who couldn’t be present the day of the ceremony the night before. The oak room was absolutely STUNNING! We had the Fitz suite and all of our friends & family stayed with us on the 8th floor. It honestly felt like we were celebrities! Everyone was so welcoming and understanding of all the things we had been through trying to get married in 2020. The entire staff made our day so special and we will forever be grateful for their hard work and flexibility.

Top Notch Venue

We loved working with Heather Roney and the Seelbach. Such a professional team, always available for questions, and willing to to make sure your needs/requests are met. Our wedding went through a lot of changes with COVID protocols up until a few days out, and the Seelbach team made sure to make it as beautiful, fun, and smooth as possible. We had such a wonderful time and are so grateful.

The seelbach is incredible!

Having my wedding reception at the Seelbach has been a dream of mine since I was young. My experience working with the Seelbach did not disappoint! Everyone we worked with was so kind, accommodating, personable, and flexible. Even in the midst of the COVID19 pandemic, where our plans seemed to be changing by the minute, the Seelbach team went above and beyond to ensure that everything was absolutely perfect on my big day. I could not recommend the Seelbach more for the service, food, atmosphere, and every single beautiful detail! Heather Roney, the Senior Catering Sales Manager, made all of my wedding dreams come true. I feel so blessed to have had my bridal party get ready here and have my intimate reception here!

Heather Roney and The Seelbach are First Class!

Heather at The Seelbach was absolutely amazing to work with. Throughout the wedding planning process, she was extremely attentive, responsive, flexible and personable. We loved her! The Seelbach Hotel is grand, elegant, and full of history. The prices are surprisingly reasonable considering the beauty of the venue and quality of the food. We would not change a thing. We were all truly tested trying to plan a wedding in the middle of a global pandemic. Heather and the management at The Seelbach could not have been more flexible and accommodating. We had to downsize the wedding twice, but they were there with new ideas and room/decorating options. They were willing to do whatever it took to make it the most special and meaningful day and evening for our daughter. Covid Bride helped by staff

Heather was incredibly helpful in adjusting our plans for the big day. The flexibility and grace shown to us as we changed our plans helped us to not be as stressed in these stressful times. I highly recommend using them. Also, I cannot speak highly enough of Paul Sant. He is a master in the kitchen and is a wonderful person!

Wedding Weekend Dream

Heather Roney, Senior Catering Sales manager for the Seelbach Hilton Hotel, was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding weekend. Heather worked diligently during our two year planning process to assist in any way possible. Responding to requests and questions promptly even during the COVID-19 shut downs. My family and I never had to worry about a thing regarding the Seelbach. Heather and her team (chefs, bartenders, valets, everyone!) could not have made me, as the bride, feel any more "taken care of" throughout the entire weekend. Top notch customer service and seamless execution from very angle. Only regret is that Heather Roney wasn't hired as the wedding planner. Best vendor by far!

A perfect wedding

My daughter's wedding was reduced to 25 attendees due to COVID, but the Seelbach and Heather Roney helped us every step of the way. The first time we visited the Seelbach and met Heather we knew this was the right place. The wedding ceremony was held in the Grand Ballroom along with the reception. The setting was gorgeous and the staff was just the best. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. The room was magical and could not have been more perfect. The night before the wedding the rehearsal dinner was held in The Oak Room, and it was equally wonderful. Thank you to the Seelbach for taking such great care of our out of town guests and accommodating them during the time of restaurants being closed. Cannot say thank you enough. Go see Heather, she is the best.

Beautiful Hotel with amazing lighting

We used the Seelbach to get ready in for our wedding. It was beautiful! We booked the Fitzgerald suite which came with a king bed room, a parlor, and a room with two queens. This was where the girls got ready the day of! We chose this for the amount of space that it had. It was plenty big enough for the bride, 8 bridesmaids, 4 hair and make-up people, and 2 mothers. Not only was the hotel beautiful with very vintage style furniture but the lighting was great as well! My photographer raved about the amount of natural light that came in through the windows and how it made for beautiful pictures. The guys got ready in suite 210-212. It was perfect!

Heather was amazing!

We searched so many locations when trying to find the best spot for a room block for my brothers wedding. Heather was by far the most helpful and provided us with the best service.

Additionally, the location we had thought the rehearsal would be held was not available and we had to change up our plans and she assisted in getting the rehearsal dinner at the Seelbach and it was the most gorgeous room!

On top of all of this Covid hit and the staff at the Seelbach were so accommodating when the wedding date was moved. It was seamless and they worked with us every step of the way. I would highly recommend the Seelbach and Heather if you are looking for a wonderful Louisville experience

Had a great stay on our wedding night and the staff was very friendly and efficient. Even when I accidentally left my wedding dress there (yes I really did and had to call them while on my honeymoon lol!!) they were very helpful.

Dream Wedding!

My Husband and I were thrilled with our wedding at The Seelbach. We could not have been more happy with our experience. Planning a wedding in the midst of a pandemic was not easy, but Heather Roney and the entire Seelbach team made our dream wedding come true.

The Grand Ballroom is the most gorgeous wedding venue in town. The food was also amazing! Staff was helpful and professional. My wedding wouldn't have been so special and my photos wouldn't be so beautiful if I had my wedding anywhere else!

We had a very small wedding and rented the mezzanine level. It was absolutely gorgeous. The weddong coordinator was extremely helpful and flexible and even recommened an awesome DJ. If I could do it all over again I would still choose the Seelbach to have our wedding. Its full of chatacter and the staff is professional, respectful, fun, and extremely friendly!

I cannot say enough great things about the Seelbach-- from the incredible food to the beautiful settings, our wedding was much easier than most to plan, organize, and orchestrate thanks to the Seelbach (and especially the planner, Heather!). It is also a lot more affordable than most people realize.... it was a perfect venue and I would recommend it to everyone!

Heather was amazing!

Heather at the Seelbach was amazing to work with! We had to reschedule from June to October and She was so flexible with us and worked so hard to make sure everything we wanted on our wedding day could happen. Obviously the grand ballroom at the Seelbach is one of those timeless and elegant venues. The wedding and reception were beautiful without even needing a lot of extras. Heather the event coordinator there was very professional and accommodating. They were easy to work with and taking into consideration the components they provide that you have to pay for elsewhere, the value was good too. The time needed to flip the room was minimal with no additional charge as with several other venues. There was a communication issue between housekeeping and reservations and there was a lengthy delay in our check-in for the bridal party to dress and pictures. But overall, a good experience.
