    My parents and I worked closely with Alex Mecca and a number of other exceptional staff members at the Hilton Woodcliff Lake for our room block, post-wedding celebration, and guest breakfast. We used the bridal suite to get ready, and it was absolutely incredible. We looked at many other options, and this was by far the best. A shuttle was provided for our guests because we booked a certain number of rooms for the room block. The front desk handed out our welcome bags, Alex created a welcome letter that provided important information, and he even had a chilled bottle of champagne waiting for my husband and me on the wedding night. The bar was open after the wedding for my guests to wind down, and the common area was easily utilized for people who wanted to stay up and hang out after the bar closed at 2am (as long as we didn't get too noisy or cause disruptions near the guest rooms). Alex also set us up with someone to book the Crystal Ballroom for a continental breakfast the next morning. Everything worked so smoothly, and Alex was very easy to contact and he put us at ease through every step of the process. I have been to many weddings where the accommodations are less than impressive, but the amount of time, effort, and care that the Hilton Woodcliff Lake put into our day was amazing. We also were able to take pictures on the beautiful grounds that morning. The easy choice for a Bergen County wedding!

    Book the Suite

    The staff at Hilton at woodcliff Lake were amazing. We got the chance to work with Joanne (who helped us book our suite) and Ryan (who helped catered) this team was nothing short of amazing. The hotel garden is beautiful for pictures. They were EXTREMELY accommodating and the room was spacious for our bridal team. The room was extremely, spacious, clean, modern and beautiful! We must have called Ryan about 5 times for our catering needs and every single call was answered professionally and promptly. I'm glad we chose this Hotel for our special day.

    We used Hilton Woodcliff Lake as our main hotel for guests traveling into town for our wedding in January. Alex and the entire sales staff are fantastic to work with and made the process so easy for us. They helped us block rooms, plan for a shuttle service, and plan a post-wedding brunch. All of our guests talked about how pretty the hotel is and how close it is to New York City. We also got a lot of nice pictures in the lobby and outside on the grounds. Great hotel and I would recommend!

    We recently used the HIlton Woodcliff lake to give our out of town guests a place to feel like home during our wedding. Getting married at the Florentine Gardens, the Hilton was close, and provided free shuttles to and from the venue! Working with Alex Mecca, and team on rooms and next morning brunch was easy and fun. They made the process seamless, and fun!
    Would recommend for sure!!

    We worked with Alex Mecca for our room block and breakfast the next morning after our wedding. We had looked at a few hotels in the area but their suite was the best! I had 12 girls having hair and makeup done and we had plenty of room for all of us comfortably. The last thing I wanted was to be crowded and people sitting on the floor. I cannot say enough about Alex Mecca!!! He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for me! It snowed three days before our wedding and I REALLY wanted to do our first look in the back by the gazebo. Alex shoveled the entire walk way for us, by himself, to make sure we could get there! It turned out to be one of my favorite pictures! He was efficient, thorough, and professional from beginning to end. I cannot thank him enough. It is all to common for people to just do the bare minimum but not Alex. He truly worked extra hard for us and it is vey much appreciated. The hotel bar was open after the wedding and we had a fun after party which a lot of people stayed out for. The hotel is very pretty and updated. Which is important when you are getting ready there because photos are being taken at the same time. Again, the suite was awesome but most of all I would recommend people to the Hilton because I know the service is excellent. All of the staff is friendly and accommodating! Thank you so much!!!

    My husband and I decided to switch hotels late in the game and Scott came to our rescue. He was incredibly accommodating and extremely responsive! The Hilton has everything you are looking for as a bride-to-be. The suites are AMAZING -- huge, clean, with a bar and extra bathroom. My entire wedding party got ready here and there was still so much space. They provide shuttles to the venue for all hotel guests, if you meet a certain room quota. The shuttles were large and clean. They can accommodate handicap accessible guests, private brunches the next morning, their grounds are beautiful and we were able to take pictures there as well. All in all, we were so happy with this hotel and would HIGHLY recommend it to others! :)

    We got married here at the end of April and I am a very detail oriented (anxious) bride. The staff at the hilton was amazing, particularly Tom, Stephanie, and Max. They listened to each question and concern that I had and addressed them quickly and amazingly. Everyone told me that things would go wrong on my wedding day, but I can honestly say that the day was PERFECT and that people are still talking about how amazing the room looked and how delicious the food was!

    EXCELLENT SERVICE: I recently had the pleasure of working with the Hilton Woodcliff Lake for my 9/10/11 wedding. First I would like to start off by saying that Jeff, the Sales Manger, was absolutely amazing to work with & he is a huge part of why I am rating this venue 5 stars! Wedding planning can be extremely stressful, but Jeff was Always Quick to respond to my dozen emails & was Always able to answer all the questions I had! ...IN FACT, the day of the wedding, while in the limo on the way to the venue, I realized I told him the incorrect time that the party ended.. In a panic I emailed him from my phone asking him if it was possible to change the shuttle time, & he emailed me minutes later saying it was no problem!! AMAZING!!

    Next, we had our post wedding brunch at the hotel & the food was excellent & room was very spacious for our 80+ guests! Mark, the Senior Convention Service Manager, was very catering to our requests & also very urgent with responding to all my emails!

    BEAUTIFUL HOTEL: My husband and I were recommended to this vendor through our venue, The Estate at Florentine Gardens, as an option for our guests to stay! Once we visited, we knew it was the perfect place for us! A few things that stand out: the hotel lobby is very impressive when you first walk in, the bridal suite is HUGE & was extremely roomie for my 8 bridesmaids & I to get ready!, there is a restaurant on the premises, as well as a cute little coffee shop, very pretty grounds to take photos, the hotel bar is open till 2am:) Lastly & most importantly, the hotel provides shuttle service to and from your venue if you book X amount of rooms, which was amazing!

    **Well deserved 5 stars & I would recommend this vendor to anyone looking for a hotel in Northern Jersey!

    We went to the Hilton Wood Cliff Lake a year before our wedding. We really liked the idea of our guests staying at the hotel after the Reception. Therefore we booked. In August, 3 months before our wedding Tom called us and said the gentleman who was handling our wedding was no longer there and he would be handling it. Well Jim and I were a little concerned. Ever with the food, and presentation with such a large group, it was delicious. Anyhow, Tom was amazing, her sat with us, saw what we wanted and then made it happen. Everything on our wedding day was perfect. He was there to make certain it was how we wanted it. A month later people are still talking about how it was the best wedding they have ever been to. So if you are considering a hotel venue I recommend the Hilton Wood Cliff Lake.

    The Woodcliffe Lake Hilton was my faireytale vendor. If you choose to get married there you need to ask for Tom. He was AMAZING... He felt like part of our family during the planning. He made us feel at ease and put on an amazing production. I got married almost 6 months ago and people are still talking about my wedding. I reccommend if you are looking at venues to go to the Woodcliffe Lake Hilton your search will end there and you will be blown away.

    We had our wedding here in the summer of 2014. We visited about 5 other possible sites including hotels and other banquet halls but went with the Hilton Woodcliff Lake because of the beautiful outdoor space and the variety of the menu. Working with Beth, the catering sales manager, was such a wonderful experience. She was thorough, professional, responsive and clear about the entire process, start to finish.
    The suites and rooms were beautiful. The suite is HUGE large enough for both bridal parties to get ready, if needed. The other rooms and facilities in the hotel are all clean and newly furnished. We, our guest and our families all enjoyed the taste and the variety of the menu. The staff was professional, friendly and helpful the day of.
    I took a half star off not due to the staff related to the wedding but due to separate staff/department who handled booking the group hotel rooms. The staff member responsible changed twice during our process and caused minor confusion. We would definitely recommend the Hilton Woodcliff Lake Hotel.

    My husband's family booked this place for the rehearsal dinner since we were staying at this hotel during our wedding weekend. Our rehearsal dinner was held outside near the gazebo, BBQ/buffet style. The food was amazing and it was beautiful outside. We were able to get Caribbean food (grilled pineapple, seafood paella, salmon, BBQ ribs, and other tropical fruits) which we could not get any where else. The wait staff was attentive and made sure the food was replenished often. This was our second choice for a wedding venue. I would definitely recommend this place if you are planning to get married.

    Happy With Our Hotel Choice

    We booked our wedding reception at The Old Tappan Manor for 11/11/18 and began our search for a hotel to accommodate our guests, as most of our family and friends would be traveling over an hour for our wedding. We looked at a few hotels in the area, but Hilton Woodcliff Lake was able to check all the boxes for us. The Hilton offered a group rate of $139 + taxes for the night before and night of our wedding, as well as complimentary transportation and bridal suites at discounted rates based upon the number of rooms picked up in our wedding block.

    We worked directly with Joanna in the sales department and she was very quick to answer all of our questions (thanks for being so patient with our numerous questions!). The hotel printed out welcome letters and placed them in the welcome bags we provided for our guests. We booked two suites, of which both were large enough to accommodate the bridal party getting ready the morning of the wedding.

    We had two shuttles that were supposed to leave the Hilton Woodcliff Lake at 5:30 pm – however our ceremony lasted about 15 minutes longer than anticipated, which made our guests a little late catching the shuttle. The first shuttle left at 5:30pm with no one on it, and some of our guests asked the second shuttle to wait a few minutes so everyone could utilize the service. We realize things have to keep to a schedule, however we are convinced both shuttles would have run empty instead of waiting a few extra minutes for our guests. The first shuttle back to the hotel was scheduled to leave at 11 pm, with the second one leaving about 10 – 15 minutes after, so we could collect our belongings from the venue. The driver of the second shuttle was a little impatient and actually came into the venue to motion us on the bus. All in all, not a big deal, but something to keep in mind for future couples!

    The Hilton kept their bar open till 2am on a Sunday in order to accommodate our after party. This was a big hit with our guests! The room was spacious and the lounge also provided for a great spot to gather and chat about the day.
    Finally, we worked with Joanna to provide breakfast vouchers for our bridal party and immediate families. We didn’t have it in our budget to provide for everyone staying at the hotel, and Joanna came up with a solution to provide breakfast vouchers and we’d pay for them upon consumption.

    Overall we are very happy with our stay at the Hilton Woodcliff Lake and would recommend to any couples looking to book their wedding room block!

    My husband and I just had our reception at the Hilton in Woodcliff Lake. We had looked at a couple of venues, however decided to go with the Hilton due to their flexibility with us. Like some couples, we were working with a tight budget. The Hilton staff were able to meet our budget and give us a Saturday evening!! The facility and ballroom were beautiful!! We worked with Beth DiSimone, who was beyond helpful and attentive to our needs. We also got a room block for our out-of-towners at a discounted rate. We received a complimentary Bridal Suite as we had our reception there, which was perfect because we left for our honeymoon the following morning at 6:30am. Lastly, everyone is talking about how great the food was, from cocktail hour to dessert. The Hilton was definitely a plus in our book!

    This hotel was great they were easy to work with and very helpful. We bought breakfast for everyone the next day although pricy it was really great and very yummy. The rooms are beautiful and my bridal suit was large and very comfortable.

    We held our reception at the Woodcliff Lake Hilton. Everything came together beautifully and they were more than accomodating with all of our requests. Even though it was a hotel wedding, the ballroom does not feel like the typical hotel conference room and it looked so elegant. The service was absolutely great and the night of the wedding we felt like everything went so smoothly and we didn't not have to worry about a thing except enjoying ourselves. Our guests raved about the food and the cake was even more beautiful than the sample photo we had chosen from. I would definitely recommend to anyone planning a wedding to check out the Woodcliff Lake Hilton!

    We booked a room block of over 50 rooms and had our next day brunch with the Hilton. We had a very mixed bag with the Hilton.

    The brunch the next day was great and the buses arrived on time to take our guests to and from the venue. Each guest was given the room that they had reserved and the bridal suite provided to us was very nice. An assistant who was not in charge of our room block was very helpful when we did not hear from the representative who was handling everything from us. Those are the positives.

    Here are the negatives: The father of the bride was given a room without working air conditioning (it was over 95 degrees the weekend of our wedding).

    The representative who was in charge of our room block and booking our brunch the next day left without telling us. Before she left, she forgot to put our room request in for the brunch. Had we not called to check in, we would have lost our space for the brunch. No one from the hotel told us that our representative was leaving and the new representative was not told to contact us or made aware of our account.

    The hotel was very unresponsive. It would take days to receive a response be it either via email or phone. One representative told us we were not their priority as we were not having our wedding there. While this should be the case, you don't have to remind us of this. We felt as though we had to "fight" for things that were entitled to us.

    We dropped off hotel bags to be passed out to the guests staying in our room block. These were not passed out to our first guests. One of the guests staying had to go down to remind them to pass them out.

    The hotel wrote a welcome letter for us, which was very nice. However, both of our names were spelled wrong despite the names being not only on the contracts but on several emails.

    Overall, we would recommend them, but keep in mind that you will have to contact them repeatedly in some instances to insure a positive experience for your guests.

    The Hilton gave us a bunch of issues that would have been pretty minor on their own, but added up to a pretty terrible customer experience when taken together.
    My friend reserved a block of rooms here. With about a week to go, she got a call that a "technical glitch" had caused them to overbook by "hundreds of rooms". They told her that all of her guests were being transferred to a nearby (less fancy) hotel, but she could still use the bridal suite, and she had the gazebo/garden area reserved for first look photos. They said that there would be a shuttle to take the bridal party to and from the Hilton, and they'd do "anything they could" to make it up to her.
    Guests were emailed and called about the change. The voicemail they left me did not even include a "sorry for the inconvenience". We were still charged the more expensive rate from the Hilton for our rooms in the other hotel.
    The morning of the wedding arrived, and we took the shuttle over to the Hilton. It was slightly late, but no big deal. All that we asked for when we got to the suite was coffee, and some knives for the bagels that the maid of honor brought. It took over an hour and a half, multiple calls to the lobby, and a visit to the lobby to get the coffee. They never brought knives.
    When we went down to take the pictures, there was another bride using the space. All the hotel staff could say was that it was a public space. We decided to squeeze in the time for a first look at the venue instead of pushing the issue. But it turned out that the shuttle had room for less than half the party, and no driver in sight. Nobody at the front desk had any idea what was going on.
    The whole time at the Hilton, not one person offered even a token apology. Nobody warned us about issues before we discovered them ourselves, and nobody offered any help in resolving them. In all of our interactions with them they only seemed interested in deflecting blame. Your money is better spent elsewhere.
