Highly recommend this venue!
We cannot recommend this venue enough! We had our wedding here in August 2020 and could not say enough good things about the management (Adam) and Historic St. Joseph Hall. Adam accommodated our every request and helped us navigate planning a wedding during the pandemic. Adam was extremely flexible, easy going, and all around made our day run so smoothly. With the ever-changing restrictions around the pandemic, Adam was willing to work with us at every turn. Pricing was reasonable and the food was absolutely delicious!! I heard horror stories about other venues, and we are so thankful we chose North Street Events for our wedding! We highly recommend this place! We cannot recommend this venue enough! We Couldn’t Have Been Happier!
We didn’t have the best experience as we were getting started, but they got a new GM shortly after. He was absolutely phenomenal. He told us all we needed to know and more. He was also extremely flexible and accommodating. We felt truly valued, and that our wedding was not just another work day for all staff. I would recommend this venue to anyone. It’s such a beautiful venue and a truly great value! We didn’t have the best experience as we were getting started, but they got a new GM shortly after. He was absolutely phenomenal. Indy's best kept secret!
Historic Saint Joseph Hall was the last venue we toured. We had pretty much already made up our mind about booking another venue, but decided to keep the appointment. We were completely wowed and booked the venue that night. I am so glad we did! While we had some communication struggles throughout the process (the venue was swamped with COVID rescheduling and in the process of hiring additional wedding staff) it had zero impact on the actual wedding day. Adam was very flexible and a great venue and expert for us to lean on. He made our day fantastic. He coordinated with vendors. He made sure everything was perfect. We requested a spicy margarita as our signature drink and he not only made it happen, but it was the star of the wedding. We got so many compliments about it and still get them! When our 8-year-old niece didn't like the dinner options, Adam got her chicken fingers from the restaurant at no cost even though we told him we were happy to pay. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and has so many perks, like the cottage next door and the outdoor terrace - perfect if you're flipping the room. So many compliments about the wedding venue. It was the perfect spot for our day. My biggest complaint is the new person they brought on to assist Adam. I had never met her until our rehearsal as she was recently hired. She wasn't very friendly and it made me wonder why she's working in hospitality. My mother in law asked if we could move the front row of chairs during the ceremony to the back as it was very close to the altar and she was very rude and told us they "didn't do that." Then, a plate sat incorrectly at the wrong table (no big deal) but she argued with my guests that someone was in the wrong spot and made everyone show her the seating chart. I don't know why she didn't just make it work. It was their mistake, but even if it was ours, things happen, why berate the guests? All in all, I would highly recommend this venue. The food was so amazing our guests haven't stopped talking about it! It was beautiful, elegant, and affordable. Beautiful venue for a budget conscious couple
Historic Saint Joseph Hall is such a gorgeous venue, historic charm mixed with industrial modern lines... which exactly what we were looking for!
We began our wedding planning during the start of the pandemic, which as difficult as that was, Adam the GM made it really easy and was so quick to work with our budget and our questions and concerns. No other vendor that we inquired with was that flexible... I was my own coordinator, so that was much appreciated. As with any venue there were some cons but we were overall really happy with the day.
Pros: all inclusive (minimal vendors), patio for cocktail hour during room flip with bar service, balcony (helpful for immunocompromised guests during a pandemic) bridal suite house/airbnb which is onsite, beautiful venue with winding staircase, elevator, affordable, flexibility with budget and booking, central downtown location with valet on site
Cons: no ramp at front entrance, my dad had to wait for a guest in a walker in order to get her escorted through the back by the manager, communication dwindled once contract was signed (which we initially attributed to Covid, but was difficult still nonetheless especially without a coordinator), professionalism by catering staff was less than to be desired (my photographer had to go into the kitchen and tell them to keep it down during our vows because loud music was playing, and near the end of the reception my husband had to ask for the dessert to be brought out and was not delivered to tables as discussed so many guests did not know it was available.
All in all, it’s a beautiful venue that is perfect for an affordable all inclusive option and we would recommend it for all other laid back couples who want convenience for their guests. It wasn’t in our budget, but I would recommend having a day of at coordinator at minimum to avoid communication frustrations. Highly recommend the venue for laid back, budget conscious couples like ourselves who just want their guests to enjoy a good time in the ease of one location.Historic Saint Joseph Hall is such a gorgeous venue, historic charm mixed with industrial modern lines... which exactly what we were looking for!

Pretty Venue But Not Worth The Headache Dealing With Them
We really fell in love with the Venue!! But dealing with Amanda, the event planner, stressed me out WAY too much!!! Amanda was NOT helpful at all!! We had to meet with her several times and tell her the same things over and over again, only for her to forget, and us have to tell her again. Planning weddings are stressful enough, I just wish Amanda didn’t make it worse like she did.We really fell in love with the Venue!!
