  Having grown up on the Central Coast, I've always known Hitching Post as some of the best BBQ in the world. When we started planning our wedding, we knew we wanted to treat our guests to a true California getaway (my husband is Canadian), and that meant Santa Maria style BBQ. I looked into Hitching Post, just to see if they offered catering, and was thrilled to find they did. We went for a tasting at the restaurant and were absolutely blown away by the service. We felt like VIPs, and knew immediately we'd found our caterer.
  
  Dawn and team were so helpful in creating the perfect menu for us. They really pulled out all the stops -- right down to preparing artichokes with vegan butter for a couple vegan guests.
  
  Good food was one of our top priorities, and these guys delivered. Our guests were blown away by the food, and we loved getting to share a piece of the Central Coast with guests who traveled far and wide.

  What can I say other then Dawn was amazing. The food was perfect. I am so happy that we decided to work with Dawn and the Hitching Post. Dawn and Amanda both made the process painless. After all the planning they were consistently responsive and supportive. They had the resources to find pretty much everything we wanted for our reception table settings. Yes I would hire them again! And lastly ... try the grilled cheese with tomato bisque. So good and the kids loved it.

  I would highly recommend The Hitching Post. Not only was their food incredible (It is definitely worth the extra money to splurge on the mac and cheese!) but Dawn was so easy to work with and I never had any concerns that things weren't going to get done. Awesome food and awesome people to work with!

  We love the Hitching Post!! They made our wedding day so special! As a bride, you always hope everything runs smoothly, Amanda and Dawn are the best! They are like having a second day of coordinator, they had every detail planned out for us. We still get so many compliments on the amazing food! I highly recommend them for any event!

  We hired The Hitching Post to cater our recent wedding at The Hollister Ranch. Dawn, The Hitching Post’s catering coordinator is a rockstar at what she does and worked tirelessly with us through our MANY rounds of questions to come up with a menu and plan for our wedding reception. Dawn also worked with our rental company directly to determine what quantity of items we would need and to coordinate our order. In addition to many conversations over the phone and via email, Dawn took the time to meet with us in person at the restaurant and at our reception site on multiple occasions.
  
  The day of our wedding went perfectly, due in no small part to Dawn’s excellent planning, the gracious and talented work of The Hitching Post wait staff and chefs, and our on-site coordinator from The Hitching Post, Amanda. After dinner and dessert, they all stayed late into the evening to clean up as well.
  
  In addition to the excellent service the Hitching Post provided, the food and wine were AMAZING! We had delicious hor d'oeuvres including linguiça sausage and lobster crostini, and grilled artichokes, chicken, and steaks for dinner. Everything was impeccable.
