  Our fabulous experience with Maria at Hlavacek florist began when we walked in the door to inquire rates and offerings. Maria sat down with us and walked through our wedding, our ideas, and her suggestions. Not only was she professional in her approach, but she also offered guidance from her many years of experience that proved to be extremely helpful. We were able to come in under our initial budget and the flowers were absolutely stunning. Each bouquet and boutonniere was crafted with care and artistry, and has lasted well past the wedding day. Maria personally delivered all flowers to our venues and helped get everyone all set. We were so grateful for Maria’s hard work and dedication, and would recommend Hlavacek to anyone!

  Maria was absolutely amazing! She put together such beautiful arrangements. It was like she knew exactly what I wanted and got it done in such a short amount of time. Day of the wedding she went above and beyond, helping me in ways I didn't even know I needed! I would recommend her to everyone!

  Maria did a beautiful job with the flowers for our wedding. At our first meeting, we loved not only how knowledgeable she was but how kind and approachable she was. She is easy to work with, quick to respond to phone calls and emails, and very helpful. Our flowers were exactly what we wanted and she came and personally delivered each person's flowers to them with detailed instructions about their care. I would definitely recommend Hlavacek to any bride looking for gorgeous flowers at a good price, and a kind, courteous professional to work with!

  I was referred to Hlavacek Florist after my original florist closed her business about three months before the wedding. Maria did a terrific job of putting the arrangements together. She honored my original pricing and was very flexible - especially when my outdoor ceremony was moved indoors. She took the gazebo decorations and artfully arranged them inside. She also helped pin on the boutonnieres and corsages for my party, and even helped with the flowers in my hair.
  
  She was a bit late in getting the invoice and bill together (I didn't get it until the day before the wedding), but she knows her flowers, and did a wonderful job.

  I think Maria may have been going through something personal at the time because after our initial meeting I couldn't get hold of her and I called several times to get a written quote as she didn't write one up for nearly 6 weeks. After speaking with somebody else from the shop I was told I would be dealing with her instead as Maria was "out" for awhile. Also the day of I freaked out because they were supposed to deliver 40 rose heads to the chapel along with the other flowers for me to bring to the reception and scatter on the tables. After the ceremony I realized the flowers were not there and I was in the limo hiding before the ceremony so I didn't know. I called the florist frantic about 4 times and received no answer, finally somebody answered and told me they had a wedding in the area of my reception and brought them there, nice of them yes, but they should have let somebody know before my meltdown. Also I thought the size of my bouquet and the grooms boutinere could have been larger for the money we paid. That being said the alter arrangemnets were stunning and the bridemaid bouquets were beautiful, mine was also fab but should have been larger than the girls and really wasn't much bigger. I was a little disapointed and I hope Maria has worked through whatever personal problems she was having at the time.
