  Marissa is great!

  Had a wonderful experience with Marissa! We were planning our wedding in Mendocino County from Washington state and we couldn't have done it without Marissa! She helped us through so many decisions and answered all our questions. It was amazing to not have to worry about coordinating anything on the day of the wedding. Marissa knew exactly what our vision was and made everything look perfect. She took care of it all and we're so appreciative of her! We highly recommend Marissa and Hometown Gatherings!

  Top notch!

  Marissa is amazing. An absolute pro start to finish. Our wedding was perfect and had the perfect flow. Some minor changes happened during the event and Marissa set it all into place seamlessly. She was such a great guide as well. We've never done this before and we needed someone to help and add clarity to some decisions and she was there for it. We hired her for the 3 months plus day off and it was a key investment. No way we could have done it without her. She was instrumental in making the best day of our lives come true. It's actually kind of crazy and just silly luck that my wife just found her online. Marissa rocks! If in doubt just interview her and you'll get it.

  Best Day of Coordinator!

  Marissa was the best to work with! I hired her as a month before/ day of coordinator for my wedding in San Diego, CA and it was the best decision! We had a few follow up calls from the day I hired her leading up to my wedding and then the month before we had weekly check ins. She was accessible and easy to work with. She is the reason I was able to genuinely enjoy my day and not stress about anything. She made my vision come to life and everything went better than I could have imagined. She made sure vendors were where they needed to be and when they needed to be and if anything did go wrong I had no knowledge of it because to me she made it seem like the most perfect day. If you are looking to hire someone I couldn’t think of anyone better than Marissa!

  Best Decision of Our Wedding

  Hiring Marissa as our Day-of Coordinator was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We worked with Marissa in the last months leading up to our wedding weekend to bring her up to speed on all our plans and help firm up final details. We were so impressed with how Marissa seamlessly integrated with both the staff at our venue and worked with each of the vendors. She is a natural and confident leader, but also quickly jumped in to assist whenever someone across the wedding team needed an extra hand. Overall, she is fantastic.

  Polished, Professional, and Punctual Wedding Planner That Fully Took Over For Us!

  Marissa was incredible to work with! She totally understood our vision and what we wanted. She was so professional, punctual, and responsive to all of our questions and needs. We found the venue walkthrough so helpful and she asked questions that added so much value to the walk with the venue managers. On the day of she totally took control on everything and we were able to just relax and enjoy our event. She kept everything organized and made sure to quickly/casually check in on little tweaks/adjustments throughout the event. I could not recommend hiring her enough and thank you for all that you did! We loved working with you and you truly made our special day absolutely perfect!

  Exceptional!

  Marissa (Hometown Gatherings) was an exceptional wedding coordinator! Due to pandemic limitations, we held a very unique wedding in which we had 3 different locations! We hired Marissa as a day-of coordinator to be sure our day ran smoothly and we did not have to worry. She was flexible and really got to know us and our event.
  
  Marissa was communicative, and even came to meet us at one of our venues to do a walk through. The day of, she was professional, and so helpful! She was sure everyone was where the needed to be at the right time. At one point we realized my change of shoes got left in my MOH's car, and Marissa left during dinner to retrieve the shoes! She really went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect for us.

  Elopement Expert

  Marissa made our elopement dreams come true on a very tight timeline! I was very happy with her communication, support, and detailed planning. We were so lucky to have her there that day and it allowed us to enjoy it more and not worry about the details. Highly recommend!

  Excellent experience with Marissa

  Marissa was incredibly helpful for thinking through all the details and flow of the wedding, creating a layout and timeline, and communicating key details with all the vendors. She ended up not being available day of, but she met with us regularly leading up to the event to make sure everything was in order and had a phenomenal associate, Rebekah, to run things day of. Would highly recommend!
