Carter and Honeysuckle Traditions was amazing! She made our wedding a dream come true!
She went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect. She had a meeting with us each week, to make sure we were on track, on the same page and work out every detail to plan. She was attentive to our vision and was able to add in details to tie in the finishing touches we didn’t know we wanted.
From checking off the smallest to-do and managing day of events, Carter kept us on track, our nerves calm and allowed us to focus on what was truly important for our special day.
We were able to be fully present with each other and our guests as Carter had the full run of the venue running smoothly like clockwork!
I remember watching Carter bring our venue to life as the minutes flew by. She never seemed rushed, frazzled or skipped a beat to trouble shot any little hiccup that came up.
Seeing how calm and collected she remained, we knew we were in the right hands and had nothing to worry about.
We appreciate everything she did for us and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding coordinator that approaches her job with the upmost professionalism and a personal touch you can’t find everywhere!Honeysuckle Traditions's reply:

It was so lovely working with Carter! I’d recommend her anyone, and especially to those who are looking for some guidance on how to make their dreams into a reality. Carter was phenomenal at listening to us and talking us through step by step. She guided us in figuring out how to make our non traditional ideas come to life. I’m not a natural planner and she helped me break things down and then make it happen. She came up with ideas I never would’ve thought of and warmly guided us through the process. She is a great listener and a calming presence. Her warm and positive energy grounded us on our special day. She went above and beyond and was so easy to work with. We wouldn’t have had the perfect day if it weren’t for her. She recommended our wedding photographer and thought of little things we never would have thought of. The BEST thing about my son and daughter-in-law's wedding was Carter. Hands down, she made the day beautiful and calm and enjoyable as the Mother of the Groom and I know the Mother of the Bride felt the same. Both of us are single moms and yet we were able to relax and enjoy. Carter is the consummate professional. She brings years of experience from managing some of the largest and most noted wedding venues on the Central Coast. It doesn't matter what size the wedding or event, she knows how to orchestrate it all. This wedding was a micro wedding (26 in all including the bridal party), yet all the big traditional wedding elements were part of the day. There were a lot of spinning plates and some interesting family dynamics as well. Carter handled it all with grace, calm and ease. She really became part of the family. Carter has great suggestions and she takes care of every little detail from setting up to decorating to tearing down and everything in between. She really kept the vision of what the bride and groom wanted. I can't recommend her enough. I'd hire her for any event, wedding or not. What a gift Carter is to anyone planning a wedding. The best Wedding Planner out there!
If your looking for a wedding planner/coordinator, you need to hire Carter! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She made sure to get an in depth understanding of my vision for the day and completely brought it to life! The venue was decorated exactly how I described, all vendor communication was handled, everyone was kept on a schedule and she even made sure I had food and water after the ceremony. Carter is fun and easy to communicate with, professional and proficient in all aspects of the planning process. I’m so happy I went with honeysuckle traditions.Honeysuckle Traditions's reply:

Carter was our wedding planner and coordinator for our 2022 wedding that was rescheduled from 2021. I'll start by saying that she is THE reason I ended up choosing our venue - she is calm, relaxed, and put my stressed out wedding brain mind at ease while handling the craziness that is wedding planning. I just felt comfortable with her from the moment we met and knew we would be in good hands. And I was right - her approach and demeanor was essential when our initial wedding was postponed due to the pandemic! Carter was so understanding and patient with us and helped us to navigate the entire situation. I cannot recommend her enough, she is kind, warm, organized, experienced... every good quality you need in a wedding coordinator. And she helped our dream vision come to life, including helping us move everything outdoors to keep our guests safe and think of creative ways to make the night fun (last minute silent disco addition!) I worked with Carter when she was at the Hollins House at Pasatiempo. A big part of the reason I picked Hollins House was because they provided a vendor / day of coordinator with their package. I'm so thankful Carter was that person. I was planning my wedding for summer 2021 during the height of the pandemic and it was pretty stressful, but having Carter there to guide me through the planning process helped so much. I would email her about random details at odd hours and I never sensed an ounce of frustration or impatience in her replies. I was honestly scared all my emailing and questions would scare her away but she always replied without fail. She'd always answer in a timely manner and was always willing to help. She was so organized - contacted all the vendors and followed up with me on anything I had missed. She was on top of it, which I really appreciated. I'm someone who has really high expectations for those I work with. My husband often tells me he's scared i'll scare people away with how pushy I am (but for a bride it's ok right??) Anyway, I hope that helps to show how patient Carter is. On the day of, I couldn't have asked for a more calm and organized coordinator to help the day go smoothly. At first, I wasn't sure we even needed to hire a wedding planner. I figured with the wedding being as small as it was (around 30 guests) it didn't make a lot of sense. But at some point I realized how much running around I would end up doing day of (and the night before) and decided it was worth the money. And trust me when I say, it was.
I didn't have to worry about the little details, I was able to relax and know that Carter had everything taken care of. The decor being set up, and even making sure I had a snack after the ceremony while signing the wedding license.
The week leading up to the wedding we had hour-ish long phone calls that squared away all the details and plans for decor. Any questions were answered within minutes. The communication between us and the vendors was always clear and concise, and we never didn't know what was going on, but also didn't need to stress about it.
All in all, if you're looking for a wedding planner in the Tahoe Area, you can't go wrong with Honeysuckle Traditions.Honeysuckle Traditions's reply:
