We got so many compliments on this cake!! The cake was fresh and so delicious and decorated beautifully! Most of the time when you think wedding cakes, you think of a dry and super sweet cake...I am so pleased to say, this cake was the complete opposite! The delivery was on time. They give you a big cupcake as your cake to save for your anniversary. Every tier can be served from. They were very accommodating for those with allergies.Hoosier Girl Cakery's reply:

When we decided on our venue, the owners suggested stopping by Striplings to try a few pieces of her pound cake on our way home. It only took one bite to know that we needed to have her cakes at our wedding. Her cakes are absolutely delicious, and we wanted to pick a variety of flavors for a buffet-style cake buffet.
On our wedding day, Corrine was one of the perfect vendors who was so professional and took care of setting up the cakes with virtually no direction. It was such a relief to know we didn't need to micro-manage our vendors, and the cake table was absolutely perfect. The only hard part about working with her was narrowing down our favorite cake flavors :) She is incredibly knowledgeable, talented, and easy to work with- we would absolutely recommend her cakes to anyone! -

These people are so rude! I called about bringing my mother in law in for cake tasting, so she could decide what kind of cake she wanted for her 50th Wedding Anniversary party. We were buying a cake to feed over 100 people (so basically the size of a wedding). She told me Saturdays are busy and they only do cake tastings for weddings. When I explained that they were renewing their vows and we would be buying a wedding style cake, she snapped and said, "nope we only do tastings for weddings." I called the other bakery in downtown Monroe, The Posh Cakery, and they were more than happy to do a tasting with myself and my mother in law. The Posh Cakery was AH-MAZING! A really sweet couple owns it and were so helpful. We ended up spending over $400 with the Posh Cakery.......I can definitely tell you that I will never call Hoosier Girls Bakery again. RUDE RUDE RUDE!!!Hoosier Girl Cakery's reply:

Since we are a mass production facility, it is difficult for us to accomodate tastings for events other than a wedding. We were under the impression that you were needing a cake for an anniversary party, for which we don't host sit down tastings for. Our apologies for the miscommunications that resulted in your bad experience. We appreciate our customers and definitely want to always provide a pleasant experience.
