Hotel Saranac Exceeded Every Expectation!

I cannot say enough great things about Hotel Saranac, they are amazing! Just as some insight with my experience with the Hotel my wife and I had our wedding ceremony & reception both at the hotel on February 18th 2023. From the first visit we wanted Hotel Saranac to be our wedding venue and it was a wonderful experience from the start. Myra is truly amazing, and we cannot say enough how great it was working with her! Communication was always stellar and the willingness to work with us with all our unique ideas to incorporate into the reception was always welcomed and if not immediate having answers to our questions Myra would get a confirmation to our questions in hardly anytime at all! On the day of the wedding, we cannot think of anything that could have gone any better with the day of execution from Myra and her staff! The friendly service from all the staff was such a pleasurable experience and so many of our guests have given endless compliments about how wonderful the staff was at our wedding. Food and drinks were spot on from our tasting experience which was a huge relief for us both and the hotel was so accommodating to work with us with our custom meal and hors d’oeuvres selections. Our day was perfect, and we owe so much of it to Myra and all the Hotel Saranac team! If you are looking for a truly amazing wedding experience from a venue then look no further, Hotel Saranac is the place! Hot Sara will always have a special place in our hearts for delivering unforgettable wedding memories!

Incredible Wedding Venue in Saranac Lake

We could not be more thrilled with our decision to get married at Hotel Saranac. From the day we toured the venue, we were impressed with everything from the options available to us to customize our wedding and the incredible kindness and professionalism of the staff. Myra and team at the hotel were great to work with - quick to respond to questions, happy to accommodate small requests, and flawlessly executing every detail. Our guests were complimentary of the beautiful space, great food, kind staff and were huge fans of the late night snack option (we went with the french fry bar)! We can't thank Hotel Saranac enough for creating the most special day and can't recommend this venue enough!

One of a kind!

Myra and her team at Hotel Saranac are top tier when it comes to weddings! They all work very hard to ensure you have the best day possible. I would highly recommend that you book Hotel Saranac for your wedding because you will feel like you have a luxury wedding without the outrageous pricing, you will have a team that actually cares about you and they make the wedding planning process to much easier from their support. Not to mention the food is incredible. Our dinners were perfect and our guests couldn't stop raving about how good brunch was the next day! We can't thank the team at Hotel Saranac enough for making our day unforgettable.

Elopement Package

My husband and I booked the "Premium Adirondack Elopement Package" with Hotel Saranac, and had 20 guests. It was the by far our best decision. Myra and Blake are a dream team and took most of the stress out of planning our intimate wedding. They were quick to provide suggestions and answer all of our questions. From the tasting through to our wedding weekend, the whole team was professional, gracious, and fun to work with. The food and drinks were also on point, and got rave reviews from our guests. It's been one month and I still cannot stop thinking about how perfect our wedding day was at Hotel Saranac!

Phenomenal Venue

Hosting our rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks at Hotel Saranac was the perfect way to start our wedding weekend. The team is professional, easy to work with and extremely communicative!

Amazing, couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day

We got married 08/06/2023 at Hotel Saranac, we picked this venue because of how amazing the town of Saranac is and the beauty surrounding the area. Myra and the whole staff at the hotel were amazing from getting everything communicated the months before the wedding and to the day of the wedding. The whole event staff are attentive and do an amazing job, we loved our wedding at Hotel Saranac!

Elopement Summer 2023

We eloped at the Hotel Saranac in the summer of 2023 with our immediate families present. Myra, every single Hotel Saranac team member, and our vendors (which were all set up or recommended by Myra) absolutely went out of their way to make our planning experience, our big day, and our whole wedding weekend special. Myra helped us every step of the way throughout planning and officiated for us on the day of. The whole process was easy, stress-free and our day turned out even better than we could have ever dreamed. Our families have only had amazing things to say about their experience as guests. My husband and I would 110% recommend getting married at the Hotel Saranac; If we could go back and do it all again, we wouldn’t change a single thing. We can’t thank Myra, the concierge team, the restaurant staff, the servers and bartenders and every single staff member or vendor we worked with enough!

The wedding of our dreams!

My husband and I got married at the Hotel Saranac and are so happy we did! The venue is beautiful, unique, and full of character. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make sure that we and our guests had the best weekend possible. The weekend itself was amazing but so was the amount of time and energy that Myra and her team put into coordinating everything to truly make it the wedding of our dreams. Myra is great at what she does! Planning a wedding can be stressful and there are a lot of decisions to be made but Myra answered my all questions (almost instantly), provided wonderful suggestions, was flexible, organized, and detailed, and always made time to meet with me. It was wonderful to feel supported by a team of experts! We are so happy that we made the decision to book our wedding at the Hotel Saranac and highly recommend doing the same!

Hotel Saranac is Top Notch!!

The Team at Hotel Saranac -- Myra, Blake, and Chef Mike -- are simply the best! My husband and I are so glad we chose Hotel Saranac as our wedding venue. If we could do our wedding day over again (which we wish we could as we had our best day!) we would without a doubt choose Hotel Saranac over again! We had our rehearsal dinner, wedding day, and brunch at Hotel Saranac and the food, drinks, and decor were stellar for each event. Every detail we mentioned was executed better than we could have dreamed. They respond immediately and professionally with any question any and all questions we had while planning the event and on the day of! We cannot recommend Hotel Saranac enough, as they will make sure you have the best experience possible!

Highly recommend Hotel Saranac!

We fell in love with Hotel Saranac when we visited in 2018 and five years later, we had an amazing wedding here! From the beginning, Myra was so helpful, kind, and professional - she made the planning process so easy and enjoyable, I truly wasn't even stressed about anything. Hotel Saranac provides just about everything you need and the staff are all incredibly helpful and professional, from the reception attendants to the bartenders and servers. Myra and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make sure our guests were happy and taken care of, and that everything looked/functioned the way we wanted. We were also pleasantly surprised with the pricing and everything that was included, allowing us to have a beautiful wedding in a special venue without going over our budget. I can't think of anything we would have wanted to be done differently and we're so grateful for the team at Hotel Saranac for helping us have the most amazing wedding we could have imagined!

Hotel Saranac Winter Wedding

We had a wonderful wedding experience at Hotel Saranac! All of the staff with whom we worked (especially Myra and Blake) were supportive and accommodating as we (unexpectedly) planned a winter wedding in 2.5 months for over 150 guests in what ended up being a Nor'Easter.

The food and service were outstanding for both our rehearsal dinner buffet and wedding reception with plated meals. Any details that required confirmation or modification were handled extremely well. The wait staff and bartenders were professional and caring from start to finish.

The space was elegant and magical- especially when decorated for Christmas. All of our reception decor was laid out beautifully (all we needed to do was drop it off!). They even cleared the terrace for snowy pictures! Thank you, Hotel Saranac for creating the perfect wedding weekend.

Great team at a beautiful venue!

When we booked Hotel Saranac, there was a different shapes coordinator in charge. We were frantic that we made the wrong decision because of poor case management. However, when Myra took over last year, everything changed! Myra and Blake were incredible. Always willing to answer calls and emails about the most miniscule things. Our wedding day was nothing short of perfect. The venue, the food, the staff- all amazing. All of our guests raved about our wedding and the venue. I highly recommend Hotel Saranac if you're looking for a wedding venue in the High Peaks region. Five stars for value!!!

Perfect Wedding Venue

We had the best wedding imaginable at Hotel Saranac. The space is a gem and makes for a beautiful wedding. The team at the hotel is top notch, and went above and beyond through the planning process and the day of to help us and ensure the day went smoothly. The venue was beautiful on a fall day and the rooftop made for great photos! 100% would have chosen this venue again if we had to do it over again!

My now-wife says "MYRA IS MY HERO." She and the entire staff at the Hotel Saranac made our wedding day simple and easy. The venue is beautiful, the drinks are great, and the setting is gorgeous. We had a beautiful day there.

I wish we could do it all over again!

We couldn't have picked a better place for our wedding reception. Hotel Saranac went above and beyond for myself and the groom on our special day! They were very accommodating upon arrival for the weekend, right until we left for the honeymoon!
The night of our wedding we found a sweet gift from the hotel. It is a beautiful blanket that we will cherish forever as we look back on our day. Thank you so much to Hotel Saranac, and a special shout out to Myra!

Everything we hoped for and more!

We can't say enough great things about the beautiful Hotel Saranac as a venue for our wedding! The photos don't do justice to the beauty of the vintage hotel. Myra, the sales director, was fantastic from start to finish. She was attentive, so attentive to detail, responsive to emails, encouraging, and calm under pressure. The food was superb far more more than typical wedding fare (thank you Chef Mike and his staff) the dining staff on point (thanks Taylor and Sadie and all) the bartenders so knowledgeable serving up the best cocktails. These people really really care about their guests. Oh..and the raw bar? out of this world! Our wedding was everything was everything we hoped for!

The Happiest Couple at the Hotel Saranac

Myra and the Hotel Saranac were a pleasure to work with. Emails and phone calls were always answered in a timely manner (and I had a lot of questions!) and the professionalism was unmatched. Myra was very organized and transparent on how the planning process would work and what she needed from us to make the wedding a success. Our guests raved about the food and the venue was the perfect balance of outdoor space, relaxing lounge, and a ballroom dance party. Not to mention it is the perfect location in downtown Saranac Lake with walking distance to several bars for an organized or impromptu after party. All employees provided outstanding service both at the reception and at the farewell breakfast we did the next day (highly recommend- it was a hit!). Myra helped us plan every detail and we loved all the extras the hotel provided like table numbers, center pieces, and bar signage. One less thing to worry about! My now husband and I also really loved the menu tasting the Hotel Saranac offered, as we found it to be a rare thing to come by at wedding venues in the Lake Placid/Saranac Lake area, and we loved that we had exclusive use of the space for 8+ hours as most venues only offer 5 hours without an upcharge. The rooms and suites were also amazing, with our suite in particular being a great and spacious spot for the groom and groomsmen to get ready, eat breakfast (prepared and delivered to the door by the hotel), and hang out before the wedding. We cannot say enough about how happy we were with our wedding weekend. Thank you Hotel Saranac!

Historic luxury with caring staff

The Hotel Saranac was the perfect site for our wedding. It has a little bit of everything - outdoor space, views, historic value, lovely and comfortable suites, luxury without being ostentatious. The staff was so attentive and caring, especially our venue coordinator Myra. She was incredibly helpful and considerate, and we felt like we were in good hands the entire time. Highly recommend!

Hotel Saranac is an amazing and unique event venue. You have plenty of space for guest to use and it is absolutely stunning. The hotel staff is amazing and we constantly felt like they were going above and beyond for us. There were so many small touches that made the weekend that much more special. We had the pleasure of working closely with Myra. She is incredible to work with and helped make the planning process less stressful. Our wedding was beyond our expectations and a large part of that was due to Myra and the Hotel Saranac team.
I could go on and on about how amazing the hotel is. All of our guest loved the space and kept commenting about the food and how amazing everyone was. We would 100% have an event here again!

Hotel Saranac

Hotel Saranac was a dream location for our wedding. Carolyn was amazing to work with and made everything run so smoothly the day of the wedding. I would recommend anyone get married here! Historical and beautiful!

Myra and her team are amazing and easy to work with!

MYRA AND HER TEAM ARE AMAZING!!!

I had the pleasure of working with Myra and her team for a wedding in Lake Saranac and it was a professional and easy experience! What made it special was knowing all the work that she and her team put into the day but made the flow for all guests and vendors move so effortlessly and everyone had a good time, even the wait staff!

I would recommend Myra and her team for any wedding party or special event group. I certainly hope to work with them soon again.
