I was just going to try on a dress to see what style looked good on me. The owner was so nice, gave just enough feedback. I decided to buy from her because of how at ease she made all of us. She also suggested the seamstresss (another black owed business/entrepreneur who worked magic!)
Because of the Chinese New year, and my being last minute, I couldn't order my dress. She sold me the model dress, but also had it professionally cleaned beforehand. She was super flexible with scheduling.
Too bad I won't need another dress. I would work with her over and over! -

I was ecstatic to visit House of Curves bridal salon, specifically as the name entails to cater to more curvy brides. The owner, Ms. Satin is welcoming, genuine and overall personality just radiates beauty for the bridal profession. The salon was intimate enough for just our party but spacious enough to accommodate and try on many dresses, styles, accessories etc. I truly enjoyed my bridal experience at House of Curves and would recommend Satin's establishment over again! Thank you! -

Could not be happier with our experience. Satin made us so comfortable and there was a great selection—it initially looked like a small selection, but when they are all the right size, it’s actually a lot to choose from! We had planned to buy online but bought here because the service was so incredible and the prices were so fair! -

Honestly, shopping for wedding dresses has been a nightmare. Shops did not carry the dress I wanted in my size, and the ordering process was not an ideal experience in picking a dress that maybe I wouldn't love on my body. I decided I was done with bridal shops and was just going to rush delivery from a shop online. My mother dragged me to House of Curves and I am so grateful for the experience. Satin was patient, attentive, and willing to work with us on payment options. The quality of the dresses in the shop are fantastic as well as diverse in texture. Satin took my measurements and snatched my waist up so that I could visualize how the dress would look on my body. She then coordinated with the designer THAT DAY to put a rush on my dress order with customizations. The attention and care that I received in that boutique are really what every bride wants for the big day, and they really accommodate all sizes.
