  Unbelievable Beauty and Amazing Management

  My husband and I got married at House on Metolius last August and it was absolutely the most beautiful place either of us could have imagined being married. My husband grew up in Camp Sherman, but hadn't visited the property since he was little. When he went back he was awe struck, as was I who had never seen it! It was our dream location, with views of Three Finger Jack and Mt. Jefferson as well as beautiful pasture and river. The staff was AMAZING and so accommodating and just wonderful people who love their jobs and make you feel completely at home. The staff were very discrete and we felt like our we and our friends had the whole place to ourselves for the whole weekend, while also having someone else help clean up. The staff set up our ceremony space with chairs and whisked them away back onto the patio for dinner during our cocktail hour. They worked seamlessly with our coordinator and caterer and were easy to get a hold of at the end of the night when we wanted to move all the furniture for some dancing. We had our whole wedding party in their own rooms in the big, main house, and many of our friends rented the cabins next door. It was so fun to all be together in the woods all weekend. It is a magical place and we feel very lucky to have been married there. We look forward to spending anniversaries back at the cabins.

  Most amazing wedding venue!

  Can't recommend the House on Metolius enough! The venue is basically impossible to top- the mountains, trees, river, and the details in the architecture are so beautiful. Being able to rent out all the cabins and have the venue all to the wedding part and family was truly amazing and such a great experience. It was not only a great wedding day, but wedding weekend. The staff is so kind and hardworking. We never had any questions not answered. They go above and beyond for people staying there, and you can truly tell they care about the property. The family feel is so special. They were also extremely flexible with bringing in caterers, drinks, any props, etc. Our photos turned out so good and we will always cherish that day!

  Most gorgeous place I've ever been

  Wow. House on Metolius was all that we could have asked for and more. They made sure that everything went off without a hitch, and were so easy to work with. The property is honestly the most beautiful place I have ever been, and we couldn't dream of a more perfect place to get married.

  Although a bit on the expensive side for Oregon, this venue has the most spectacular view. It was a gorgeous day and the staff at Metolius were amazing to work with and accommodated to our every need. We couldn't have been happier.

  Once you visit House on Metolius, it's hard to imagine getting married anywhere else. This was the case for us. Although the venue is expensive and more than we had initially hoped to spend (especially because no catering/bar tending/site coordinator included), if you are set on a wedding in Central Oregon, like we were, it's hard to top HOM. We planned our wedding from a different state and Rachel and Angie were very responsive to questions we asked. I really appreciated that once we were in the space, it didn't feel like staff were 'checking in' on us, and it felt very private - but then of course someone was always available via walkie talkie to help out with whatever. They're seasoned professionals and have hosted weddings with all types of different variables and requests -- size, layouts, weather, etc. -- and they were willing to consider any requests that we threw their way, up until the final hours. Highly recommend House on Metolius, we loved getting married there, and our guests loved experiencing Camp Sherman and HOM, one of our favorite places in the world.
