A beautiful place and a good cause- keep construction in mind, though!
We held our ceremony at the Lily Pond, and it was absolutely beautiful! Perfectly sized for a 75-100 person wedding, with gorgeous flora and fauna in early March (and throughout the spring). We had a giant bullfrog and a snake hanging out in the pond behind us during the ceremony, which was amazing! Working with Carol was wonderful- she was patient when we sent her a million questions, worked with us to ensure guests' parking was paid in advance, helped advise us during our rehearsal, and managed setup and teardown seamlessly.
One thing that caused issues for us is the ongoing construction, which was scheduled to be done in January but ended up being ongoing in early March. The Lily Pond was still beautiful, but the indoor space we were promised in the event of rain was unavailable, and there was no electricity that could run out to the Lily Pond area for music. Carol was a great advocate in that situation and ensured we were treated fairly, but I would be sure to ask about the status of the construction and an indoor space when you're planning your event.
Otherwise, gorgeous place, great cause to support, wonderful staff, and reasonable price. It was a lovely backdrop for our wedding!
