Eric was extremely helpful with the wedding planning process with frequent check-ins to make sure we were all on the same page and ready to go for the big day. He provided uplighting for the reception which added an entirely different feel to the night. From the formal part of the reception with nice warm lighting to dancing with the lights moving with the music. He knew exactly what to play and when to play it to make sure everyone was on their feet and having a good time. He also provided microphones for the ceremony and reception while working closely with our videographer to make sure everything was perfect. As well as his booth giving you creative freedom as to what you want to show on the screen! While paying close attention to detail and making sure we're on schedule I highly highly recommend Eric with Hovey Entertainment. The DJ you choose really makes a big impact on your entire wedding day and I couldn't have made a better decision. Thanks again for helping make our day perfect!! -

Eric was an absolute hit at our wedding. He absolutely crushed the whole night! From setting the perfect tone throughout our ceremony, to coordinating directions for our guests, and most importantly energizing the whole room all night during the reception. We received so many compliments about our D.J. and everyone asking where we found him. But his services went so far above and beyond the night of the wedding. Starting 9 months before the big night, he devoted precious time getting to know us as a couple and individuals. Over the course of many, many zoom meetings he manifested our perfect night by asking all the important questions, building us an even more detailed timeline than our coordinator had provided, and offering several super helpful suggestions and guidance that we never would have came up with ourselves. All culminating in the perfect night, that was executed so seamlessly and flawlessly, better than we could've ever imagined or hoped for. Don't take our word for it, give him a call, and you will know he is your guy!

We met with a few different DJs/companies and Eric stood out among all of them! He was very attentive and intentional with each meeting we had leading up to our wedding day, as well as extremely easy to reach anytime. Everything on the day of the wedding was seamless and he kept people on the dance floor the whole night! We opted in for the up-lighting and it was totally worth it. We had a great time with Eric as our DJ! He really knew how to keep the crowd engaged and dancing the whole night. We met with him multiple times before the big day and every time I was impressed with how much detail he puts into the day of. Perfect entertainment for our wedding
We made the best choice for our wedding with Eric Hovey. He was very detailed, professional and experienced. The ceremony music was very important to us as well as the reception entertainment. Eric at Hovey Entertainment was a jack of Al trades for our wedding! He provided us with a lot of help finding a photographer, coordinating our day of, and making sure we had everything we needed to make our day awesome. He was very very good at getting back to us when we had questions and would prefer to have meetings if one comes up! We cannot recommend Eric and Hovey Entertainment enough! We were lucky enough to hire Eric for our 2020 wedding and everything he did went above and beyond our expectations. Throughout our experience, Eric was quick to respond to any emails and phone calls. When we first showed interest, he personally reached out to discuss his entertainment business and we were able to set up a time to meet. During the visit, Eric listened to our vision and had great recommendations about different things like songs, entrance ideas, timeline, set up, and ambiance. We felt that we had a personal relationship with him leading up to our wedding, which gave us peace of mind knowing that we could trust him to run the show for us on our big day! The day of, we were impressed by his knowledge of music, being able to read the room and keep people dancing, as well as create seamless transitions! We felt that we were able to have the perfect wedding that we dreamed of, and a big part of that was thanks to Eric and his business! User1377199 Sent on 10/13/2013I had the daunting task ahead of me....to find a DJ that could help me find music to play at my wedding. I like metal, and I knew that most of mine and my future husband's family would not appreciate that genre. I had found a business card at the venue I chose, and I decided to give Progressive Sound Entertainment a call.
I was not disappointed! Not only was the DJ absolutely wonderful to work with, he helped me pick music that worked with not only my family but also that my husband and I liked. He kept in constant contact with me, and any detail or change I had he was open and receptive, and if it didn't work he gave his honest opinion. I especially liked what he did for our reception and introducing our wedding party, even though it was a bit hard for me to write! I would highly recommend him!
