  Such a great place for a wedding or any event! Kathryn is fantastic to work with and is super flexible and really strives to help you accomplish your vision. There is a new caterer and the food was FANTASTIC! Working with this 'one-stop-shop' venue was superb! My guests LOVED it! I would highly recommend this location.

  I still cannot get over how perfect this venue was. It was beautiful and even though we were married in the middle of July, it was breezy and shady and not too too miserably hot! The staff was wonderful and everything was set up beautifully. THey were really helpful in picking floor plans and seating arrangements. There were some amazing photos that came out of this venue too, the landscaping and ground are so green and pretty. It felt like a fairy tale!

  I absolutely loved having my wedding here. Everything turned out perfect and was just the right amount of rustic and glam. I received such wonderful compliments about my wedding venue selection. Everyone is very easy to work with.

  Kathryn has been so great with responding back to us with our many questions. She has offered great suggestions for vendors that have worked at the venue and answered every random( I thought random) question we needed answered for vendors or decoration purposes. They get back to you very quick if not that same day. They have made planning our wedding and any event I'm sure a breeze and exciting. I absolutely recommend this venue to anyone and everyone. Really can't say enough amazing things about the people, venue and service.

  I absolutely LOVE this place and am so glad that we chose to be married there!! I have driven by this place my entire life and can't believe I actually get to have the most important day of my life there!

  Howell Family Farms is the PERFECT location for any event. The charm and beauty of the entire property from the renovated farm house to the breath-taking barn is perfection! The entire venue makes you feel like you are stepping into a magazine cover shoot or a scene from a movie. The grounds are kept in meticulous condition and the gorgeous, mature trees add such character. The Howell's and Kathryn make the entire process easy and seamless. Their quick responsiveness to questions, whether via text, call or email are very appreciated and enable event planners such as myself to work quicker and more efficiently. Their flexibility and professionalism is second to none. The night of the event was literally picture perfect. Our guests were wowed and felt special to be a part of such a beautiful night. From the trees were wrapped in sweet white lights, to the glowing glamorous chandeliers in the second story of the barn, the event oozed in character, charm and class.   Actually we did not have a wedding at the venue, but we did have a fabulous 50th anniversary party for my business. Kathryn is a pleasure to work with. She was incredibly responsive and was a fabulous resource for caterer, rentals, decorations and other necessary partners.

  We selected Howell Family Farm for our son's rehearsal dinner and were completely thrilled with the experience. We searched several venues in the DFW area. The venues all had the typical arrangements. But Howell Family Farm had something special and magical. The staff was personally interested in making our event amazing. The farm is unique and secluded. Once you arrive on the property you feel as if you have been transported to a beautiful private resort. The original Cottage is cozy and elegant. The landscaping is gorgeous. Its veranda is perfect to sit and relax. We used the main floor of the Horse stable. This stable must be seen to be appreciated. It is magical. We opted to setup one long table for all 48 guests. It had a fabulous classic elegance with the strings of lights in the rafters and the well varnished wooden beams. I would encourage you to use this venue for your personal event. The Howell Family Farm staff, property and location are all superb.

  I was the florist for a wedding at Howell Farms and it was so easy to work with their coordinator. The venue was spotless and everything was well organized. Kathryn was so wonderful to work with.

  My daughter and her husband had their wedding here a few weeks ago. 2 words "Totally Amazing"!!! If you are looking for a country style wedding in a natural beautiful outdoor backdrop. Look no more. This venue is the best around. Everyone had a fun relaxing time. It was so beautiful. Outdoor wedding - reception inside the barn complete with chandeliers. Book now !!! You won't be disappointed !!! Signed. Very proud mother of the bride.

  I can't say enough wonderful things! This venue is amazing. The grounds, the house, the barn, everything. I can't imagine anything more perfect. I highly recommend this place! I especially loved that you get access from 8a-2a. Far less stressful that way.

  Howell Farms is a great wedding venue! Had an outdoor service for 200+ people and indoor reception. The grounds are well maintained and "the barn" for the reception was immaculate. Plenty of room for a wedding of 200 or more. Staff on site handled any issues to our great satisfaction. Definitely would recommend this venue!

  270 guests attended our daughter's wedding at Howell Family Farms. This was a gem of a venue, a country oasis yet easily accessible in the Metroplex. The barn has rich wooden interiors, with original stables downstairs and three gorgeous chandeliers upstairs. The caretakers cottage was perfect for the bridal party getting ready, including space for on-site hair and make-up. Old oak trees, bistro lights and a softball diamond exuded the warmth and family feel we wanted. Kathryn was so pleasant, very flexible and easy to reach when questions were urgent.
  
  For a prime weekend date, rental fee was competitive to above average. Picking your own outside vendors (many excellent nearby) provides cost flexibility. Our rehearsal hour was the evening prior. Day of includes 8am-2am access; to include FULL set-up and tear down.
  
  They continue to expand, but our rental included use of 25 rounds, 14 rectangles, 8 cocktails (rental fee included linens), 200 mahogany indoor only chairs and 200 white garden chairs. With dance floor space, 8' dessert table in front of large windows, mix of rectangles/rounds using bench seating, we sat 170 guests upstairs. This was the max with room to walk comfortably around tables while guests were seated. Wedding party of 40 sat downstairs at 6 rectangles. Porch fit 64 at 8 rounds. We rented extra tables/chairs/linens.
  
  Large event? Have a rain plan! Our 40'x70' tent abutted up to the barn like custom, extending over the rock stage. Max 149 chairs with 5' center, ~2' side aisles. With no tent, we had 280 chairs inside the rock landscaping. The ceremony area drains really well.
  
  Must have a certified bartender. Required to hire a valet. Rent a Frog was phenomenal in our deluge!
  
  Kathryn was available all day for venue related questions. Don't underestimate the coordination (not included) required with hiring many outside vendors. A wedding coordination team of three kept busy almost all day, with nothing too complicated other than rain!

  Howell Family Farms was THE perfect place to have my wedding. The venue is absolutely gorgeous with an on-site cottage (that is incredibly adorable) and the barn with dark wood, horse stalls and an upstairs hall with 3 giant chandeliers. They did a great job with making sure it was all ready for the wedding and getting the tables set up and the floors cleaned off. They're constantly updating it to make sure everything is in tip-top condition. They were super great about meeting us for tours (we were planning from out of town) and also letting us use it for my bridal portraits. It was a little bit of slow response time, but I know that they are getting a huge influx of emails about the venue every day so it's a little hard to keep up. Super nice people though.

Everything you could want or need she was there to accommodate. We met the owner as well, and he was just as sweet. We had a train stopped the day of our wedding right in front of the venue, so no one was able to get in, but Kathryn took care of everything. She worked with railroad and had a quick and easy fix. The train, and train tracks, and character and makes this venue truly unique. Great scenery for photos. The price is outrageously inexpensive for everything that you get. I would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone! We had searched long and hard for the perfect venue, until we found this prefect place. They are fairly pricey (compared to other similar types of locations) and do not provide much in addition to just the venue as is. However, this being said, I wouldn't have chosen any other venue for our wedding; Howell is beautiful and perfect for an classier barn venue.
