    My mother-in-law went in a week before the wedding and rented a bunch of random things from them! We had access to the supplies all weekend. (Pick up Friday and bring back Monday) She was thrilled with the prices and not having to worry about last minute extras!

    Hughes Rentals was recommended by a friend that had just gotten married. After shopping around, I found that they were very competitive, and have an excellent reputation in the Charleston area. Susan and Sandy were a dream to work with. They were very friendly and professional. I'm sure they deal with much bigger events than mine, but they made me feel very important. I knew that I had nothing to worry about. That being said, life is not without the occasional hiccup. On the delivery and set-up day, I realized that one of the tablecloths I had ordered was not there. I called Susan, and within an hour, I had my tablecloth! They made my small event a priority on what, I'm sure, was a very busy holiday weekend. I would not hesitate to use or recommend Hughes Rentals in the future.

    Setting up the rentals for our wedding was easy- Stacy was great, took the order by e-mail and sent a written contract immediately. The problems we had were with the delivery. They were supposed to deliver to our venue (a beach house) by noon on the day before the wedding. We waited ALL DAY. I called a few times, they said they were in our area and would be there any time. My husband also called and got the same info. Then finally I just had to leave the house and couldn't wait anymore. I went outside and the truck was parked on the street and it appeared that they were trying to deliver to the house across the street. I told them that the order was for the address where I was, not across the street, They looked at their paperwork, looked at me, looked at their paperwork, looked at me then went to call someone. By this time I had to leave. I called the office one more time then my husband arrived and I let him handle things. The address is clearly marked on the house so I have no idea what the problem was.
    After we got back from our honeymoon I talked to Stacy and let her know the problem we had and she refunded my delivery charges.
    Overall, if the delivery had gone better, they would have received a much higher rating from me.
