  Everyone loved the food

  My experience with Hugh’s catering was amazing. From the time I contacted them to after my event to check on how everything went they were professional. They were the best professionals when it came to looking for a caterer. I did not use their serving staff so I can’t speak to that but they were flexible with numbers until a week before and with creating/changing menu. Of course the food was better during the tasting but the food was still a hit. Weeks later and I am still getting calls about how good our food was. Wouldn’t chose anyone else.

  Pick Hugh’s!

  Hugh’s service, food, was above and beyond for my daughters wedding! We had out of town guests who did not stop praising the BEST food they’d ever had at a wedding or any event! Several regularly attend big corporate events all over the world! Hugh’s knocked it out of the park! Servers, chef, and bartenders were great, set up and cleanup was great…no kitchen on site and it was out doors…they brought their own. Totally professional from picking menu, to napkins! Pam was amazing!

  The best for your best

  What can we say about Hugh’s Catering, their entire team and the incomparable Pam MacEwen that has already been said?
  
  From the initial call with Pam, we knew we were in great hands. She made the entire process of planning our menu and fitting to our budget an absolute pleasure.
  
  Pam and her team crafted the perfect meal for our wedding. If there was one unanimous comment from all of our guests, it was how delicious the entire meal was - from the spa water at the ceremony, to the champagne welcome, to the sublime hors d’oerves to our sit down, starter salad to the buffet and carving station assembled. Everyone was absolutely perfect. Oh, and we can’t forget the Ice Cream Sundae station. Pure perfection.
  
  My husband and I were unable to afford a wedding planner for our event and Pam filled that void beautifully. Everything ran smoothly and on time and efficiently.
  
  Pam is a superstar. A once in a lifetime master that saves a wedding from ultimate destruction. We couldn’t be more vocal in our beliefs that without Pam by our side, we wouldn’t have ended up having a wedding. She is a Godsend and we feel fortunate enough, through this process, to call her our friend.
  
  If you have the privilege of Hugh’s catering your next event, do it. Life is too short to not to eat great food.

  Very easy to work with and attentive to detail. The food was cooked perfectly and the timing of the service throughout the night was great. Many of my guests said to me they had never had such good food at a wedding. I would definitely recommend Hugh's.

  I have sorted through dozens of caterers for my reception, and had only had 2 tastings. Hugh's is by far the best! Very professional and organized. I felt like the Queen of England when I went for the tasting. I am also a foodie with my fiance, so I must say their selection, seasoning, presentation, and taste was impressive. I booked them right after I took a bite of that chicken parm! A big shout out to the coordinator Alex, she is so responsive and patient. Don't look anywhere else!

  Five stars for Hugh's Catering! They are the BEST! Hugh's catered my backyard wedding in December of 2016. The food and service was terrific.. great staff. They certainly are experienced in catering as they were at my home on time handling the set up of the tables, linens, chairs, bar, etc like an precision of military troops. At the end of the night everything was tidy and no trace of a party was left behind. ALSO, the food was excellent from the appetizers to the plated dinner. EXCELLENT!   Hugh's Catering is a hidden gem. I had never heard of it much less been there until I chose it for my wedding. The setting inside and outside was ideal for the occasion. I had the most fabulous pictures out front by the pond. The inside was very casual yet classy. I was extremely pleased with the entire venue. Alex at Hugh's was a crucial part in making my special day so perfect and such a success. She was a pleasure doing business with I would love to work with her again in the future for another venue.

  We worked with Pam from Hugh's Catering who was absolutely amazing in deploying the correct staff, tables, linens, bar service, ancillary items and especially the food for our daughter's rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. They worked tirelessly and pleasantly during changing weather conditions, setting up both in and outdoors to accommodate rain that stopped, so we could have the outdoor venue we planned for. They put us in contact with others who offered add-on services, like a photo booth and special lighting.
  I highly recommend this vendor to anyone, for any occasion. They do an outstanding job.

  Can't say enough about the kindness, responsiveness and flexibility of this team. Theresa is incredible -- the staff is incredible -- the food is to die for! Our guests LOVED the cocktail hour and our dinner buffet was delicious. Our wedding, dinner and reception took place over 3 stories of the Cruz Building, and so the bars and staff had to be mobile and get prepped and ready each time the party moved. They didn't miss a beat. Unbelievable chefs, fun/quality bartenders and a behind the scenes staff that responded to every request. They've got it all!

  Hugh's catering was amazing. The food was made right there and served directly to the tables from the ovens. Best food I have had at an affair. The staff was so helpful and made so many suggestions as we planned the party. It felt like they were actually part of our family. I would recommend them to anyone planning a party.

  I could not have been happier with my choice to use Hugh's Catering for both our rehearsal dinner and our reception. Tish created a unique menu for us for both events and it was delicious. She let us bring our own alcohol which really helped in the budget. She was attentive and quick with all her responses too, which for a bride means a LOT!

  Our event was spectucular, in large part due to Hugh's catering. Theresa was our coordinator, and really jumped in and gave great advice in the planning of the day. She was always sweet and professional, and was always understanding throughout the stressful planning process. Hugh's is great because they not only provide food and beverage/bar service, but also accomodate in rental of tables, chairs, linens, and other decorations. They also have a network handy of preferred vendors for other related items if needed. The food was up-scale and delicious. I was proud of what we served at the wedding.

  Dawn was awesome. She went above and beyond to make sure that I got my dream day. My reception was beautiful, the food was amazing and the decorations were exactly as I had envisioned them. They even opened up the second dining room for photos. I can't say anything bad, it was an amazing night and an amazing venue. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

  My husband and I are so glad we chose to work with Hugh's Catering for our February wedding. From the first meeting, Pam was dedicated to make our wedding perfect. She listened to all of our wishes and was extremely flexible in the planning process. Her experience was key in making my husband and I so comfortable and confident in the days before the wedding. On our wedding day, we were amazed at the level of professionalism and attentiveness of every member of the serving and culinary staff. The staff made sure we were well-fed (much appreciated!) and always had water and drinks. The food was absolutely incredible and perfectly cooked. All of our guests raved about the food and went back for seconds and even thirds! We used the beautiful main room with the kitchen which has a cozy feel and worked well for our guest count of 75. It was a wonderful experience!

  Hugh's Saved the day!

  We got married in the middle of the pandemic In 2020. Coming out of lockdown, we barely could find a restaurant to accommodate us. We reached out Hughes and met with Alexandra. She was awesome and helped us made our big day special despite the surrounding challenges. We were able to have our intimate, classy yet elegant wedding!🥰

  First, Alex (my sales person) at Hugh's Catering is great - sweet, friendly, and accommodating. But unfortunately with Hugh's, you get exactly what you pay for. This vendor was the preferred vendor for one of my venues, so I chose them to cater one of our biggest wedding events, our ethnic ceremony/reception the night before our main ceremony/reception. The chicken dish (specifically the anchor item on my wedding buffet) tasted absolutely nothing like our tasting and was dry and inedible. As a long time high-profile wedding planner myself (I can be Googled), I offer this takeaway advice: Get everything in writing and have someone (MOH) pay close attention that they give you what you have contracted. Do a food tasting and then make sure you taste the food again on the actual day of the event (this is a big one)!!!! You must supervise this vendor.

  First, Alex (my sales person) at Hugh's Catering is great - sweet, friendly, and accommodating. But unfortunately with Hugh's, you get exactly what you pay for. This vendor was the preferred vendor for one of my venues, so I chose them to cater one of our biggest wedding events, our ethnic ceremony/reception the night before our main ceremony/reception. The chicken dish (specifically the anchor item on my wedding buffet) tasted absolutely nothing like our tasting and was dry and inedible.   The food was outstanding

  Working with Hugh's was supposed to be one of the easier aspects of planning our wedding. While the food made up for a LOT of what we went through, we were still disappointed in our service.
  
  We learned the hard way not to trust our rep. Yes, the emails were answered almost immediately, but the information was almost always either wrong or a flat out lie.
  
  Some of this did have to do with the troublesome venue, but most of the time the issues had nothing what-so-ever to do with the venue at all.
  
  HOWEVER, the servers were exemplary and the food was delicious. I would eat that dinner every night and be thrilled... which was lucky considering we didn't get a tasting after being told we *would* get one 6-8 weeks out.
  
  We would work with Hugh's again and recommend it to friends and family only if we could work with a different rep. They have a great reputation so I cannot imagine this is their normal way of business.
