  Amazing photographers!

  Jon and Tim have a true talent for photographing in a romantic and organic way. We used Jon for our engagement photos and again with Tim on our wedding day, and couldn’t have been more happy with them. They made us so comfortable and helped us go from awkward to models during our shoots. We love them and would recommend them anytime!

  The Best You Could Ask For

  I'll preface this by saying as a photographer and someone who hates having their picture taken- I was blown away by how comfortable and secure Jon & Tim made me feel. I look at the photos they captured everyday with a grin. You would hardly know they were there at points, but captured everything and my entire family adored them. If you're searching for A+ wedding photographers, or photographers in general, look no further.

  Perfect, amazing, excellent, A++++

  Where to begin with these guys! I didn't decide to pull the trigger on videography at our wedding until...two weeks from the date. Jon and Tim welcomed my procrastination with open arms. Tim went out of his way to still squeeze in a meeting with me. On the day of the wedding, he showed up hours earlier than we had even discussed, just so he could get the best footage. Our wedding party absolutely LOVED him, it felt like he was a part of our crew. He was never bossy or domineering about getting shots, he just let us do our thing and be silly. The result was a beautiful, natural, joyful video that my mom says she now watches every single day.

  Just go ahead and hire them

  We really can't say enough good things about our experience with Tim and Jon who shot our September wedding. First, they are both extremely friendly and welcoming. They truly want to be a part of the experience of your wedding and not just a hired hand to click and shoot. One of my bridesmaids is a photographer, so she offered to do our engagement pictures as gift. However, Tim and Jon wanted to do a mini shoot with us prior to the wedding just to get to know us better and help to make us more comfortable on the big day. This was extremely kind and helpful! Second, they are quick with communication and clear. Third, their photography style is awesome. They are very much so about capturing moments and personalities, rather than just having you pose for rigid pictures constantly. Because of this, our pictures from both the ceremony and reception were AMAZING. Returning to the fact of wanting to be a part of the experience, I think Jon even broke it down on the dance floor at the reception at some point and it was epic. Anyway, I will stop rambling. They are awesome people, welcoming, and great at what they do. Highly recommend!

We met with Jon about a month before our shoot to talk about our ideas and desired aesthetic; my fiance & I really appreciated the time he took to get know us and collaborate on how we wanted our pictures to look. During the shoot, Jon had a keen eye for staging great pictures, but also the patience to capture the perfect candid moments. My cheeks literally hurt from laughing and smiling throughout the entire shoot. The photos clearly speak for themselves, but we could not be happier with how the pictures turned out. After sharing a few with friends and family, we immediately received texts and comments gushing over the photos - what else does a bride-to-be love to hear, right?
  
  We can't recommend them highly enough, and cannot wait for Hunter & Light to shoot our wedding day too. :)

  Edited: Now that we have actually gotten married and gotten our wedding pictures and video back, I wanted to give this a quick update. Jon, Tim and Eric exceeded our expectations in every aspect! The pictures were beautiful, perfect and exactly what I wanted. No cliche pics from Hunter & Light - everything is unique to who you are as a couple. We even run up to the last minute trying to get a photo list together, but didn't end up needing one because they captured every moment that we could have wanted. And they are creative. We were expecting rain on the day of our wedding, so they suggested getting clear umbrellas. We didn't need them, thankfully, but used them anyway in pictures...and those turned out super cute! Again, I highly recommend Hunter & Light! Not one complaint or thing I would do differently.
  
  From our first meeting at a coffee shop to get to know each other to our engagement photo shoot a couple of weeks ago, we just couldn't be more thrilled with our experience so far with Hunter and Light. Jon and Tim are very professional, but casual, friendly, and genuinely want to get to know you and your story. I made a few suggestions for locations for our engagement shoot and Jon jumped right on board with them and added his own twist to each location. The pictures were everything I wanted them to be - creative, artistic and captured the sweet and funny moments between me and my fiance. I highly recommend Hunter and Light and we can't wait to use them for our wedding day!

  Even writing this review, I have this amazing feeling on the inside :-) My wedding was 6/4/16 and Hunter & Light Photo Co. did our wedding video. I am not saying this because it featured my awesomely beautiful wedding, I am saying this because it captured the true essence of the event... my wedding video was the most BEAUTIFUL and the absolute most AMAZING wedding video I have EVER seen. Tim Spanagel and Jon Medina were so amazing and attentive. They are so down to earth, personal, and friendly, but very professional. My Husband (then, fiance) and I met with Tim and told him everything we needed him to capture and he got everything and so much more. He even came up with some ideas on his own. They were with us on the day of our wedding for hours and hours. Tim was with me and my sister and Mom as we got ready and Jon was with the guys. We had 3 videographers so when the video was put together, EVERYTHING was captured and looked amazing. His editing was perfect! He even caught my Husband's expression as I walked down the aisle... priceless!
  
  If you need a professional quality video, exceptional customer service, and the best videographers and photographers in the area... do yourselves a favor and call HUNTER & LIGHT PHOTO CO! They are truly the best! I was beyond pleased and they were there but not in the way. It was amazing how well they blended in with everything that was going on.
  
  By the way, it brought me so much joy to actually see them interacting with my guests and having a good time at the reception. It was the perfect night!

They took a great deal of time in finding the perfect location for our pictures the day of the wedding and even helped coordinate our schedule. They photos they took turned out absolutely wonderful and we could not be happier with the way they turned out. They are also very flexible and offer some really great packages.
