Beautiful Wedding
My husband and I had our wedding at Hutchinson Shores Resort & Spa in April of 2024. This resort is hands down a beautiful location for a wedding. We worked with Tom and it was a smooth process, any questions or concerns that came up along the way were swiftly answered and handled. Outdoor ceremonies can be difficult to navigate with weather, but they are prepared for anything and can quickly set up beachside, on the patio overlooking the water or indoors in the ballrooms. We were blessed with beautiful weather all weekend and chose to have our ceremony on the patio. Our guests raved about the level of service provided as well as the quality of food, which many deemed to be the best wedding food they have had. For our family and friends who travelled from afar, it was a great home base for the entire weekend. I highly recommend Hutchinson Shores for your future wedding!
PS. I would highly recommend having a wedding planner at least on the day to help make sure all of your vendors are organized and that all the moving pieces on your wedding day are smooth, timely and just the way you want them to be. -

Hidden Gem
My husband and I did six different venue Tours. When we came across Hutchinson Shores we fell in love! It was the perfect little Tropical/Beach vibe we were looking for. Tom was the absolute best. I probably sent him over 100 emails with a bunch of questions and he ALWAYS without a doubt (and quickly) answered them thoroughly and made me feel so comfortable throughout the process. If you are looking for a beach tropical spot- THIS IS YOUR PLACE. Very clean, professional and accommodating for all of your needs (we had some guests with dietary restrictions, and they did great on accommodating them). Food was delicious and the service was phenomenal! We received so many compliments on the bar service as well as the food. I feel there is such a stigma on Plated Food Weddings and the food being cold, but all of the meals were hot and ready right in time!
We got married right on the beach (A DREAM!) and had cocktail hour on the pool terrace. Butler passed hors d'oeuvres and champagne service was amazing and delicious. Dinner was in the ball room (beautiful). We planned for 117 people with 13 tables and had plenty of room.
My girls and I stayed in the Grand Suite the night before- the room service was great. Valet carried all of our items to the room and the room was absolutely beautiful with an ocean front view. Plenty of room for 10 of us to get ready the morning of the wedding!

My husband and I got married on 10/2/21 and it was absolutely beautiful and awesome. The friendliest staff and not to mention, very accommodating on our needs and desires. Tom and his staff was an absolute delight and breath of fresh air. Any questions or last minute concerns were addressed and done without any hesitation. My career has been in events and knowing that things always happen and come up, it’s sometimes stressful, but not with Tom and his staff. My ceremony was on the beach and the cocktail hour was scheduled to be on the pool terrace, about 3 hours from go time - I was informed the wind was picking up and it may be in my best interest to move the cocktail hour into the foyer of the ballroom. It was a great idea and it turned out perfect. The Drift restaurant - the food was exceptional and having breakfast the next day available for my guests was perfect. Five Stars! -

My husband and I got married at Hutchinson Shores Resort & Spa on May 1, 2021. We decided to have our ceremony on the beach, our cocktail hour in the Sea Turtle Foyer, and our reception in the Sea Turtle Ballroom. From the start of our wedding planning journey until the day-of, Thomas Deahn - the wedding event coordinator for the hotel, was absolutely amazing, extremely friendly, and had no issues accommodating any/all of my husband and I's requests. The food at the hotel is absolutely delicious, and their restaurant - The Drift - is an actual hotspot for many locals. The hotel itself is beautiful, and incredibly clean. Being it's only a few years old, everything is still like brand-new, which is always an added plus. Overall, our wedding was magical and we are so thankful that we were able to create life-long memories. We can't wait to stay at Hutchinson Shores Resort in the future and bask in the memory of such a special day -

Tom and team made or dream wedding reception and weekend a reality!
Hutchinson Shores was an amazing and magical place for our wedding. Due to COVID we had to postpone our wedding twice and move it from NC to Florida. Tom really helped us recreate our vision down to the exact personalized menu. The lighting, food, flexibility and ambience was absolutely perfect and breathtaking. WOW is all I can say about Hutchinson Shores Resort & Spa. We were supposed to get married in March but postponed due to Covid. We finally decided to get married on November 14th and do a smaller wedding. Our original venue was closed so we had to find a different venue. We stayed at this hotel about 2 years ago and had an amazing weekend so we requested wedding information and decided it would be the perfect venue for our wedding!
From the beginning of planning, Tom and Steve were professional, helpful, and made sure no details were overlooked. My family and friends could not BELIEVE how beautiful the hotel was when they got there. The rooms are clean, beautiful and offer lovely views. The hotel restaurant Drift has amazing food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We ate here for all of our meals except for the wedding and had something different every time! All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly throughout the weekend from the servers to the front desk to the housekeepers. I also liked how there were hand sanitizing stations throughout the hotel, it certainly made my guests feel more comfortable.
The wedding was amazing. We had our ceremony outside on the south pool deck facing the ocean, and then the cocktail hour/ reception inside in the Wahoo Room which was stunning! The food portions were large and tasted SO GOOD, unlike other wedding venues I have been a guest at before. The staff was there to make sure everything was going smoothly and checked in with us frequently throughout the night!

My daughter was married 11-1-19 and this was an amazing place. The staff here was wonderful, pleasant and very helpful. They went over and above to meet our every need. Tom Deahn was incredible. He answered all our questions, checked on us throughout the day and was very accommodating. We stayed a few days before and after the wedding and really enjoyed ourselves. Rooms were a nice size, pool was beautiful and the food in the Drift was very, very good. The staff out by the pool were also amazing. Hutchinson Shores Resort and Spa is such a hidden gem!! The resort is absolutely stunning and its right on the ocean. The surrounding city/town is quiet making our big day feel private and intimate The staff was SUPER accommodating and they hosted the event with grace. The food was delicious and the hall that we rented out was clean and modern. We did the ceremony on the beach, the cocktail hour on the pool deck, and the reception in a hall. So nice to be able to do everything all in one place! Our guests loved it too! I would highly recommend getting married here! -

Amazing!!!
They were super amazing. Starting from the planning stage, their availability and flexibility was awesome. They allowed us to stay well past the allotted time to finish decorating the room (since we wanted to decorate on our own). The day of the event took place without any hiccups. They made us feel like we were the only ones in the hotel. The personal touch and staff availability was amazing. I’m a south Florida wedding photographer based in Stuart, FL and I have had the privilege of photographing weddings at Hutchinson Shores Resort and Spa. I visited the hotel on the first day it had opened and was thoroughly impressed! I was pleasantly surprised to see a hotel in our area that was modern, chic and coastal. There is literally no place like this in our local area. That is what makes Hutchinson Shores Resort and Spa so unique.
Since the opening day, I have been to Hutchinson Shores Resort and Spa a few times to photograph weddings. Each and every time I work there, I notice how consistently clean it is. You can really tell that the staff take the time and effort to keep the hotel looking pristine for their guests and for weddings and events.
Photographing weddings at Hutchinson Shores Resort and Spa has been a delight. As a photographer, I appreciate the coastal aesthetic and the amount of amazing natural light that I can utilize on a wedding day. The bridal suite, especially, has become one of my favorites in the area due to it’s large size and split floor plan. The bride and her bridesmaids are able to enjoy themselves without it feeling like everyone is crammed inside. There’s plenty of space for everyone! And that also means, that there is plenty of space for me to photograph the things that are important to my brides. The suite sits right on the ocean. As brides prepare for their wedding day, they are able to take a look outside and feel the calm, peaceful energy that the ocean provides.
The ceremonies can be held on the south side of the building, which again offer great lighting! Or, you may opt to have your ceremony directly on the beach. Either way you cannot go wrong, another reason why I love Hutchinson Shores! Good lighting no matter where!
I have photographed receptions in both the smaller reception area and the larger reception area. Both are fantastic! There’s always been plenty of space for the guests’ tables and room for dancing! The staff are highly attentive to the needs of the bridal party and guests alike. They work HARD, folks! I’ve seen them running back and forth to serve the clients! I know that they truly care.
Tom Deahn, the director of events management is, is a true professional. He is responsive and always available. He has always taken the time to answer any questions and responds quickly. I have never had to wait days for a response! This is so important when you hire professionals for your wedding day—no one should have to wait! My brides have also told me how great it was to work with Tom!
Aside from being an overall amazing wedding venue, Hutchinson Shores Resort and Spa has also always treated myself and my team amazing. And I can’t say the same for every venue. The fact that they treat their vendors wonderfully, speaks volumes to me. It makes it a pleasant place to work and am so happy to recommend couples to this venue!
Overall, if you are looking for a wedding venue, I highly recommend Hutchinson Shores Resort and Spa! Call Tom and set up a time for a visit, you will not be disappointed!

At first great, then the bight before went to set up in a room that was very small a dance floor that had only 6 small squares and nothing but argument. Once they received payment they didn’t care anymore. My cocktail hour was a joke. No one got any food and they kept forgetting to feed the children then are currently trying to bill be again for another $600 for plates we never received. I have attorney on this there’s many other venues I’d keep
Searching. However the hotel is beautiful if you are in the bigger room and not a walk in closet. My mistake don’t make it yours!Hutchinson Shores Resort and Spa's reply:
