    Amazing Wedding Experience

    Mike was truly a professional to work with. He was very easy to communicate with and he always responded to our numerous emails very quickly.

    He walked us through every detail we could have not even thought of to make sure we had all everything perfect. His team did a wonderful job with all the little details we wanted. The food was top notch and the Dulles Corner Park was a beautiful area to take photos with our wedding party.

    We recommend Hyatt Regency Dulles for anyone looking for an amazing team, led by Mike, to host your wedding reception.

    All of our guests stayed at the Hyatt and the service was wonderful! Patrick was very responsive to all of my e-mails and phone calls. The entire staff was very friendly and gladly handed out welcome bags and answered guest questions. We got an amazing rate of $95/night for guests that included the amazing breakfast buffet!

    My, now, husband and I looked at a lot of different places before settling on Hyatt Regency Dulles. We had reached out and talked to Laura-Ashley and she booked a time for us to come and check out the venue. She was so wonderful to work with, as well as everyone that we encountered on our wedding day. Laura-Ashley accommodated our many questions and even let me make a couple of almost last minute changes. When I asked her for two tables set beside the alter for the alter pieces, she was quick to say yes. We originally booked the Garden Terrace for our wedding but since it rained that day, my planner and Laura-Ashley made the call to move the wedding indoors. I was a little hesitant of the backup plan but they made it beautiful! Hyatt even gave us complimentary room blocks and it was so convenient. The people set up and took down all of the decorations and we did not have to worry about anything. They were so accommodating in every way. It was truly a wonderful experience working with Hyatt and Laura-Ashley and I would recommend them any day!

    The Hyatt Regency Dulles team has gone above and beyond to make our event one to remember. From the beginning, Laura Ashley has worked with us to make sure our event goes smoothly. We had a huge guest list and many names that overlap - she worked with us and reservations to make sure everyone had a room. We have never seen a more supportive or patient staff. She allowed us to use her office to store many of the favors and other little things needed throughout the wedding. She was on premises the entire time our event was going on, which reassured us as the bridal party that we would not have to worry about anything she said she would take care of. From managing my guest book to arranging our favors - the entire team was great. They would personally check up on us through each event and even had food sent up to our rooms when they knew it had been too hectic for us to eat. Our guests were pleased with their rooms (at an AMAZING group rate). The hotel also provides a shuttle from the airport to the hotel and that was very important for us as we had a lot of people flying in. Everyone said it was very easy to use and the timings were great (4am to midnight). Overall, this venue choice was great to work with and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was executed as we had envisioned!

    Let's be honest, having your wedding reception in a hotel is very convenient for your guests and with our wedding being in January we didn't want to take a weather risk. I can honestly tell you that we shopped most of the hotels in the Dulles area but we're not interested at first in the Hyatt BBC the ballroom square footage was too big. The Hilton was our #1 choice and the Mariott was our #2. All was great with those two until it came time to sign the contracts! I don't know if they made promises they couldn't keep, or if the coordinators were unorganized but both fell through! The Hilton promised to hold their venue space for us until a certain date but never provided us a contract at all to lock it in and the coordinator at the Mariott fell off the grid!

    I called the Hyatt almost in a panic and Erica Schlatter came through for us. Every step of the way she was a dream to deal with! We were able to negotiate excellent prices, offer our guests 4 delicious meal choices, rooms were great and rates were cheap, the servers were professional and accommodating, the room was partitioned off and was perfect for an intimate reception, and I could go on! Erica far exceeded our expectations in every way. She never made me feel stupid for making so many requests or asking the same questions two/three times. We did not hire a florist or coordinator so Erica and her staff took my DIY center pieces and assembled them based on a few pics I emailed her.

    She set up our after party room for us and provided a refrigerator in the room so our beverages were cold! We were amazed every step of the way!

    This Venue was available a week before the event and the staff and Laura Ashley or even
    coordinator put everything together perfectly everything.
    we had great fun and the chef went out of the way to prepare vegetarian food.

    My sisters beautiful wedding on 11/29 - it was a beautiful and magical evening. Erica Was great throughout thr entire process. There was a gentleman assisting us during the event, I forgot his name, but he was so helpful, attentive and was always on top of things! Great staff - it was a beautiful venue.

    I don't know where to begin with this as the Hyatt Dulles simply made my dream a reality. The first day I met with Gyn at the Hyatt I knew I was in great hands. Every email and meeting request was met in a timely fashion and with useful information. I was blown away every time I was told that Gyn would take care of a detail and at our last meeting before the wedding she had everything lined up. When I walked into our reception site with my new husband and no one else in the room I had tears of joy running down my face. It was simply breath taking. Our ceremony and reception were flawless (or at least that that I know of)! The food and drink were beyond AMAZING! The entire staff from Gyn (coordinator), Chef, to all the the staff that helped that day, Jaun and Rosie to name a few, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for making our day magical.

    I cannot tell you how glad I am to have chosen Hyatt Dulles for my wedding. Not only is the location beautiful, but the coordinator Gyn is worth it alone! From day one Gyn did everything we asked for even if we changed our minds a million times. She never once complained or said no, instead she found a way to get everything done. Over the course of the engagement I can truly say Gyn became more of a friend with her number on speed dial and her fast response to any email/call.
    The staff was absolutely perfect at the location and made sure everything went smothely and that everyone including the guests were beyond happy. I cannot thank the Hyatt Dulles enough for giving me the wedding of my dreams and the time of my life!

    We wanted a local hotel where we could have an outdoor ceremony (with indoor backup), indoor reception, and lodging all in one place. The outside terrace at the Hyatt Dulles is gorgeous and provides the perfect spot for a wedding (up to about 175 guests). There is even a park next door where you can take beautiful pictures. Gyn Wei was amazing to work with and so helpful! I appreciated her responsiveness to all my emails leading up to the wedding, and all of her helpful suggestions and accommodations. On the day of the wedding itself she was running around constantly, making sure all our needs and our guests' needs were taken care of. My friends and family were amazed at how beautiful and convenient this wedding was, and I can't recommend the Hyatt Dulles enough!

    We recommend this client from the bottom of our hearts. They truly made My Daughter wedding day the happiest day of my life. wedding ceremony and reception Hall was gorgeous there. It was perfect. Joanna and the entire staff did an amazing job. I will defiantly recommending them and be using them again in the future.

    My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception there. It was perfect. Joanna and the entire staff did an amazing job. We are so happy we went with them...everything was perfect and we wouldnt have changed a thing!

    Everyone was great to work with and so flexible. Mary was our coordinator and did a fantastic job. They switched the menu around to meet our needs. They worked within our budget constraints. Everything was so easy and carefree. I didn't have to worry about a thing. I felt confidant that everything would be handled, and it was. The room was gorgeous and the food was great. The cocktail hour on the patio was beautiful, as well. The only thing that went wrong was that the cake was supposed to have been moved out to the dance floor when we were cutting it, but that didn't happen. So, no one saw us cut our cake. My dad was really disappointed that he missed that. Everything else was great and I highly recommend Hyatt Dulles.

    Perfect place to get married

    We had our wedding in December 2018, the venue was perfect. Everyone complimented the space, and the lobby area which was beautiful. We also had guests stay in the hotel and had breakfast the next morning. Everyone at the hotel was courteous, and helpful. I worked with Kasia Neumeister mostly and she was AMAZING! I emailed her about 100 times and every time she helped me out. We changed plans, added services, up to the last minute she was there and made sure everything went according to plan. She even came by to tell me everything was under control so I can relax. Kasia is really the best!!!

    Gyn was fabulous and very detail oriented- she executed our wedding and rehearsal dinner very well and worked very hard to make sure that things went smoothly- she and her staff made the room look beautiful with the many accessories I brought- photo collage, table scape confetti, etc. She was also very flexible and easy to work with.

    There were just a couple issues to be aware of- read the contract very carefully before signing, or better yet, have whomever is paying sign the contract. There was a misunderstanding about discounts on weddings that take place during the week- evidently, they calculated the discount without letting me know what the full price was. Also, they displayed the supplement desserts and ice cream before our cake was served, which didn't make any sense and I ended up taking home most of my wedding cake.


    Also, reminder to brides: If your parents are part of the processional and have reserved seating, please have someone place wedding programs on their seats! Neither of our parents had programs during the service and this was disappointing and added confusion to their participation!

    Be aware, at the Hyatt Dulles you will pay 22% gratuity and 5% tax for all food and beverage- even the breakfast brunch, which was self serve and the omelette station wasn't manned during our brunch. This was very overpriced and there wasn't much service to justify this exorbitant fee.
