    Excellent Hotel for your Wedding!

    I cannot say enough great things about the wedding staff for our big day. It was literally perfect. Luisa was our wedding planner and she handled everything for us. From options on photography, music, hair/makeup, food etc etc. We had decided to do the base “elopement” package and included our 4 (adult) children for a small fee. We chose the Gazebo for our ceremony - it was about $500 cheaper than the beach. We liked it so much better because the view is gorgeous and you don’t get sand everywhere. Also, the photographer agreed to take pics by the water. The girls for hair and makeup were excellent as well - my daughter and I loved it! I had a friend who was married at the Hyatt Cancun and she referred me due to her great experience. Again, highly recommend!! We don’t have the pics back from the photographer but wanted to show beach in the back and my daughter’s hairstyle.

    Exactly what we hoped for

    We were happy to find such a beautiful place to elope just the two of us. Our wedding planner never made us feel unimportant or too small. She answered all of our questions and really cared about our concerns and needs. It was a dream come true!

    Amazing Destination Wedding

    Katia at the Hyatt Zilara was an amazing wedding planner!!

    We were worried that communication would be difficult through FaceTime and emails, but Katia was always quick and willing to talk to us whenever we needed to! We asked if we could do WeChat so we could keep things organized (email chains are so difficult), and she was happy to oblige.

    She was thoughtful and helpful throughout the entire process. Always sweet and smiling, there was nothing that she wouldn’t do for us. If there was anything she was unsure of, she would check and get back to us immediately. On the day of the wedding, everything was perfect! She also surprised us with some extras that we weren’t expecting.

    We ended up doing the buffet package and our guests loved it. The venue was beautifully decorated, and my guests all had a blast! We honestly went with the basics- basic flowers, DJ, dance floor, etc. We were trying to stay budget friendly. They never pushed us to try to pay for more things! Katia was always accommodating to us and making sure we stayed within our budget. Everything still turned out beautiful!

    We did the ceremony at the Gazebo (you can’t beat the sand and ocean as your background- you didn’t need to decorate with anything else!). And we did the reception inside at one of the meeting rooms/ballrooms. We spent more more for decorations for the reception to spruce it up.

    It was a perfect destination wedding for 80 people. It was a mini vacation for all of us!

    Dream wedding - unbelievable venues/ event staff

    10/10 ACROSS THE BOARD! Denisha and Keino and everyone else destroyed it! We also loved our staff in our hotel room - Toni-Lee and Kerrian were wonderful and so attentive. We were a hard couple to please planning this wedding - with groomzilla and a live events manager, we were quite the pair! And they KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK. Exactly what we envisioned, from staging, lighting, decor, three venue layouts, and timing/schedule - it was everything we pictured and more. Denisha was so thoughtful and respectful of our dream and dealt with our billion emails with grace and encouragement. If we closed our eyes and imagined our dream wedding down to the floral arrangements - they provided it. SUCH a gorgeous event and we impressed everyone. THANK YOU THANK YOU!

    Absolutely amazing.

    Our wedding of 175 guests went so smoothly. Everything, including all the preferred vendors (romanza, gama, encore), went perfectly. Paty is an amazing and patient wedding coordinator, she answers emails timely and is very flexible.

    Our wedding at the Hyatt Zilara Cancun was really a dream come true. Our guests had an absolutely INCREDIBLE time. The staff and service is wonderful, the rooms are spectacular, and the food is amazing. It such a beautiful venue. My wedding coordinator, Paty Ulloa, was so great to work with. She was extremely responsive to my thousands of emails :) Everything went very smooth, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. We ended up extending our trip and we never wanted to leave!

    Hyatt Zilara Cancun and their staff made our wedding day and week an absolutely PERFECT FAIRY TALE. We cannot express enough gratitude to our wedding coordinator, Paty Ulloa, who was constantly answering questions and taking care of any items we requested - all while keeping a smile on her face. She was such a pleasure to work with and made sure all of our decor was placed perfectly and everything ran smoothly down to the very last details. The banquet staff at our wedding were completely amazing and blew all of our guests expectations out of the water. They were so accommodating and friendly, and just an absolute pleasure to be around. The entire staff at Hyatt Zilara Cancun treated us and our guests like royalty and we could never thank them enough for making it the most special vacation of our lives.

    Paty also recommended our florist, Mayra Pacheco, the owner of Varsovia and we could have NEVER dreamed up the flower arrangements and floral displays that she came up with. The flowers were so fresh, and more beautiful than what I had described and requested.

    We would recommend Hyatt Zilara Cancun to ANYONE for their wedding, vacation, or honeymoon. It was literally the best resort we have ever stayed at and we will definitely be back. THANK YOU HYATT ZILARA FOR MAKING OUR WEDDING THE MOST PERFECT DAY OF OUR LIVES!!

    This was a beautiful place and every person we came in contact with was nicer and more helpful than the last. Very romantic. Would highly recommend this place.

    The venue was wonderful. The service throughout the hotel was amazing. My wedding planner, Geraldine, was one of the only reasons I did not turn "bridezilla". I had 40 guests with not one complaint!!

    Expectations Exceeded

    From the moment we decided on Hyatt Zilara Cancun as our wedding destination, we were met with exceptional service. Our wedding coordinator, Luisa, played a pivotal role in ensuring our special day exceeded all expectations. Her patience, attention to detail, and organizational skills were truly commendable.

    The ceremony, reception venues and décor were breathtaking. We don’t expect much from “resort food” but we were pleasantly surprised by the culinary team! Food was wonderful and we received many compliments about our menu.

    Our stay at the hotel was also great. Our guests were not only impressed by the location and accommodations but also by the high quality of service we received from the entire staff throughout our visit.

    If you’re able to visit for a wedding preview ahead of your event, I highly recommend it. Becoming familiar with the resort and venue and doing the food tasting really helped us fine-tune things.

    Our destination wedding at Hyatt Zilara Cancun was a dream come true. We are immensely grateful to the entire team for their dedication and hard work in making our special day absolutely perfect.

    We planned our wedding in Cancun at an All inclusive that would accomodate Adult only and family freiendly. When we booked the Hyatt was still The Royal (adult only) and The Gran Caribe Real (Family). The wedding planning was easy and stressless, The set up, three piece band, ceremony, and recption went off without a hitch. They know what they are doing with weddings. There were three other weddings the same night and we had no idea. The only dissapointing feature was that we had a lot of issues with the flower girls coming to the adult only side the day of the wedding. The original plan was for the bridal party and flower girls to be in my suite on the adult only side while getting ready. It ended up being so difficult and restictive that we changed our plan last minute and I prepared in a room on the family side. We had the hardest time getting champagne in the room and the A/C was not working properly. This is my only complaint. The rest of the day, ceremony and reception was magical.

    I have been to this resort a dozen times and the last two stays showed me that this resort is no longer worth the expense. As the years have gone by they have simply realized that they can match the quality of the lowest quality all inclusives and still get people to stay there. The staff even commented that since so many people use points to stay, they can match the amenities of lower quality resorts and still profit. I have stayed in the same swim up suite for the last five years. This past February I arrived to find that they have removed the steam shower from the master bath (they didn't replace or repair the shower; they just ripped the unit out and caulked the space), they have removed the in room liquor and wet bar (they claim too many people were drinking too much so they did it for liability reasons), they removed the Bose sound system so there is no music in the suites unless you have a really good laptop, they removed the DVD players (which ruined my ability to show a wedding DVD; the reason for this trip), they removed the gaming system, the toilet was broken, the phone was broken, the AC never got below 76 in the room. Despite having the cabinet for room service delivery so you don't have to be dressed or greet staff, they now bang on the door incessantly for 10 minutes followed by multiple calls to the room so they can try and extract a tip from you. When checking in, the "interview" where they learn about your likes and dislikes so the room can be stocked to your liking has been stopped. The "Butler" service has been removed as well. The "non-smoking" property is no longer enforced and in fact ashtrays have been installed everywhere. Basically this is no different than any other all inclusive except they expect $700-800 a night for a basic room with no amenities added. When checking in, I selected a room for my travel companions directly above me so we could easily see each other. When they arrived they were put on the opposite side of the property
