  All-around pleasant

  I had a great experience! The appointments were very pleasant and welcoming, atmosphere very comfortable, and the communication in preparation was great! We had a small scheduling miscommunication on a follow-up, but were able to get rescheduled right away on short notice. The alterations themselves looked great and were just what I wanted! I recommend very highly!

  I had a great experience with Darlene! She was very responsive to my messages, very kind when I was there, and there were no problems with my dress! Everything turned out perfectly! She was even kind enough to help one of my bridesmaid on short notice. Very happy I found her!

  Darlene was dreamy to work with! My dresses fit perfectly after her process, and it was so clear that she cared that I feel beautiful and comfortable. Her work was expert!

  I absolutely LOVED working with Darlene. As an out-of-town bride, she was so accommodating over the past year and a half to ensure every fitting went smoothly. She was extremely flexible when I needed to reschedule appointments and even texted to confirm. I also love that Darlene listened to exactly what I wanted (especially when I was surrounded by a lot of other opinions), if something didn't feel right to me, she instantly found a solution. I absolutely love the way my dress fit on my wedding day, it was everything I wanted it to be and more. Thank you, Darlene!!

  When I brought my wedding dress in to Darlene I didn't like it because it was way to big and the silhouette wasn't what i wanted it to be. Darlene was able to get the dress to fit me the way i wanted it to and the strapless dress wasn't budging even when i was jumping up and down! Unfortunately I had my period during both fittings so my boobs where bigger than normal and come the day of the wedding when my boobs where normal size the top o the dress had a huge gap between my skin and the dress and the entire reception i was flashing people right and left. I didn't care the day of the wedding because I was on cloud 9, but when I got my wedding pictures back it was very noticeable and I was pretty upset with myself for not thinking about the fact that my boobs would be bigger during both fittings. But that isn't Darlenes Fault. She also did my moms dress and one of my bridesmaids dresses.

  Darlene is truly wonderful! She is so sweet and easy to talk to and most importantly, she is extremely good at wedding dress alterations. I always felt comfortable around her. She never made me feel as though I was being picky and she never, ever made me feel rushed. She is a gem! If you're looking for someone who will treat you like family, go to Darlene!

  I can't say enough good about Darlene and I Do Alterations. She took a complicated dress that had LOTS of beading and lace, and turned it into a stunning work of art. She was easy to get in touch with, had prompt responses whenever I asked questions, and took INCREDIBLE care of my dress while it was with her. Her rates were reasonable, and even 2 days before our wedding, she expertly took care of me. Thank you SO MUCH to Darlene!!!!!

  Darlene, the seamstress, was absolutely fantastic to work with. Not only does she do exceptional alterations and really knows her trade - but she is so easy to work with. She was accommodating on scheduling, which was a challenge, since the bride had to travel from out of town. Her prices are very reasonable and the workmanship is exceptional. Would recommend her wholeheartedly! She provided alterations on wedding gown, jacket, MOB dress and 2 bridesmaids dresses.

  Awful experience. Darlene was great in the beginning but when it came down to a week before the wedding - the sides on my dress we lumpy with gathered fabric, her solution for the cups being too big were to add cups with cushioning, and the bottom lace was not properly put back on after the length was taken of. I finally got my wedding pictures back and the cups she added show in 20-30 of my pictures and it makes me look like I have a much bigger chest than I do. I would not recommend going to her. I would go to Timble Tailor. I have had numerous dresses done by Timble and they all come out perfect. The only reason I went to I do is because Lovely recommended her. Very poor decision on my part.

  I had an awful experience. I brought my wedding dress in based on a recommendation from the bridal shop I purchased it from and I am incredibly regretful. She had plenty of time to address the issue of the cup size and never fixed it. I went in for 2-3 alterations (it being an issue each time). I finally go to pick up the dress 4 days before the wedding and it's still an issue. Her solution was to add padded cups. It was too late to find another tailor. This ruined numerous pictures and cost me approximately $400. It was the only mistake I believe I made the whole wedding. Go to Timble Tailors!
