We used every service I Do OBX provides for our destination wedding in Corolla. This included officiating, coordination, DJ, florals, lighting, equipment/decor rental (both ceremony & reception), and videography. When beginning to pick vendors, it seemed like a daunting task as we were unfamiliar with the vendors in the area. After meeting the owners Tony & Mary at the OBX Wedding Expo & seeing their work, it made the decision easy. It was so clear how kind & passionate they were about what they do, as well as how much experience they had. They were both so helpful during the entire planning process, and were able to offer so many recommendations & advice. They had done many weddings at...I Do OBX Weddings and Events's reply:
I tried to describe the love I saw and felt from you two and it was easy, but also difficult to put into words when you see perfection:) We all saw that in you two and your wonderful families and friends! From the first time we all met and when you two were blessed to have won our giveaway, we knew this was meant to be. We worked with I Do OBX for florals, decor, and lighting. The package was really easy to put together, and everyone we worked with was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and patient, and every meeting concluded with them making sure we knew exactly what we were going forward with. They never left us guessing at anything, they always thoroughly answered all our questions, and they were amazing to work with. We didn't know anything about flowers, and they helped us get the exact look we wanted with our florals. Tony also made a last minute suggestion for the lighting that ended up making the reception look like an absolute dream. -

I Do OBX is a great resource not only for the services they provide but also for information about the area. Everyone was helpful as I planned our wedding from afar. We rented our tables, chairs, arbor, and lighting design. They were very knowledgeable about our venue and the best services for our type of wedding and the location. The folks who provided setup were professional and respectful during setup and breakdown. I would recommend I Do OBX. We also stayed at The Diamond on the Sound which is a property/venue owned by Tony and Mary. That was an amazing space as well! Great spot for our honeymoon but would be a great venue for a wedding too!I Do OBX Weddings and Events's reply:

Tony and I Do OBX were amazing! Our day was just what I wanted it to be- relaxing, memorable, and no stress! Our small intimate wedding was beautiful, and just perfect! Even the dolphins showed up! Many of our friends and family mentioned how much they enjoyed the service and that they would love to have him do their vow renewal.I Do OBX Weddings and Events's reply:

Hands down the best!
Amazing from start to finish! Would highly recommend Tony, Carrie, and Nick a thousand times over again! They all made my husband and I so comfortable throughout the entire time! It’s nerve racking trusting a process from states away, but I did and it was so worth it! The flowers were beautiful! I received many compliments from my guests about Tony’s personality and how he handled the entire ceremony! Carrie showed up before the ceremony just as I had requested and was so down to earth and made us so comfortable. Nick made everything so easy flowing with the video as well! He was so nice and personable, easy to talk to! They all were so down to earth... -

The staff at I Do OBX is absolutely amazing. I changed my mind a couple times and they accommodated us with no complaints. Jacob Schuster (our officiate) is one of the nicest people I have ever met . He took our wants and needs and made the ceremony one of a kind. The flowers were better than I could ever expect. My husband and I recently had privilege of working with I Do OBX for our Corolla wedding. Nothing I say can even do justice to how wonderful our experience was. Starting with how helpful, informative, responsive, and accommodating Tony and Mary were in initially planning our perfect day, to the setup of the lights (shout out to Tyler) at the house, and the flawless day of setup. Our photographer, Ryan, beautifully and meticulously captured the joy, love, and excitement of the day. Our DJ, Alec, was phenomenal and ensured that our ceremony and reception went flawlessly and that everyone had a great time. This whole team absolved the stress of wedding planning and truly gave us our dream wedding. I cannot recommend this whole crew highly enough!I Do OBX Weddings and Events's reply:

The OBX Team is wonderful and so accommodating that makes a possible stressful situation into a beautiful occasion. Highly recommended.
My husband and I recently renewed our 40th wedding anniversary. OBX had the perfect setup which was beautiful and simplistic. This was our actual date and time during our vacation. We have not taken a vacation in very long time, and this added to our excitement. We had 3 other couples, my brother walked me down the beach where my husband was waiting. Even though it was 40 years, it was being married again. Weather was perfect, with sun and a little breezy. Let me start by just saying, Tony was AMAZING.
I could not say enough great things. Everyone at our ceremony kept telling us how great he was! He’s very warm and welcoming, making everyone feel very comfortable. Everything looked amazing, and exceeded our expectations! If you’re looking for someone to help you with planning your big day and making sure everything goes well, idoobx is your crew! The florals were so Beautiful, the arbor was jaw dropping. I truly couldn't have asked for anything to be better! They really made everything so simple for me. Exceptional Officiant Who Made Our Beach Wedding Unforgettable!
We couldn't have asked for a better officiant for our wedding! Initially, we planned a simple courthouse ceremony. When we discovered it would have to take place at the correction center due to the location of the magistrate’s office, we knew we needed a quick change. With only a few days' notice, we reached out to Tony. He was incredibly responsive and accommodating.
He helped us transition to a beautiful beach wedding. The ceremony he crafted was personalized and truly reflected our love story. We found I Do OBX online while planning our wedding from Arizona. Tony was awesome from the start. Very informative and helpful all along the way. When we arrived a few days before the wedding, we met with Tony and it was like we had a good friend of ours getting ready to marry us. He walked us through what the day would look like for our wedding on the beach so we felt comfortable. He made it feel very personal and special to us and our family. Windsor Wedding
I can’t recommend this company enough! We used IDoOBX for ceremony/reception rentals, florals, lighting and videography and every single person was amazing to work with. The floral ladies were so sweet and truly made my vision come to life, the videographers were personable and great to work with and the set up/break down crew for rentals were also very sweet. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get married in the Outer Banks! -

Amazing to work with!
Mary and the entire team at I Do OBX was such a pleasure to work with during our 21 month engagement. We booked them for our ceremony rental chairs and they did my bridal bouquet.
I had filled out the questionnaire a year and a half prior to my wedding, so my vision changed by the time the wedding rolled around. They were so responsive and accommodating to the changes. I did the rest of the florals myself and I sent them photos of what I had done. They matched my bouquet to my husband’s pocket boutonniere perfectly.
On wedding day, the I Do OBX team brought my vision to life even with higher than...I Do OBX Weddings and Events's reply:

IDOOBX was amazing throughout the entire planning process. Tony and Mary are both so kind and genuine. They each took the time to reach out and truly understand my vision of our perfect day. The florals we ordered were absolutely perfect and complementary to our color scheme and the natural beauty of the venue. The day of staff were also so helpful and kind people. Alec, the dj was so fun and kept everyone dancing ALL night!! Katie and her partner, the videographers were so amazing and we barely noticed they were even there!! We hired I Do OBX for flowers and planning/coordination, and Shirley Cook did such an incredible job with both. I didn't have a very specific vision when I started talking to Shirley, and she asked me questions and made recommendations that led to the perfect outcome - she's a true visionary. Our flowers and decor were everything I dreamed they would be, even when the rain changed our plans a bit. Throughout the entire process, Shirley was responsive and professional, and she had our back when my fiance and I were getting frustrated with our venue.
