  Dr. Dannie Duckworth is amazing at what he does

  Danny did such an amazing job! He was early, even though we were running late, and was patient with the delay of the service. He wrote an amazing ceremony that was thoughtful and unique for a couple that was not overtly religious. He was well spoken and incredibly professional, you couldn't ask for more in an officiant! We would recommend him to anyone looking for a great value without compromising quality.

  Dannie was great! He was funny and even though I didn't get to meet him before the ceremony I couldn't have picked better myself! Thank you for everything including getting through the hurricane with us!

  Dr. Ducksworth was a great officiant! Everyone at my wedding thought that I knew him for years. I met with him the day before my wedding at the rehearsal and he was very welcoming. He was patient with my wedding party and made sure everything went smoothly. On my wedding day he made my ceremony very personable. Dr, Duckswoth was awesome and made my wedding day a day me and my husband could never forget.

  Pastor Ducksworth is a pro officiant. We had a few last minute changes and he still delivered! He's flexible and skilled enough to provide ANY type of ceremony you want. Five stars.

  Dannie Ducksworth gave us the best weeding ever. Our wedding was at Va beach on the beach on July 21, 2012. It was affordable, beautiful and best of very spiritual. Dannie actually picked out the spot for us and made us feel like we have known him for years.   Wonderful arrived on time was very professional. He also had a brief meeting before hand and he also was very great about changing the vows. I had the perfect vows because they were specialized exactly for us.

  Dr. Ducksworth provided the perfect touch for our ceremony. He listened to our wants and needs and made our ceremony special and exceeded our expectations. Would recommend his services to any couple no matter what religious or social background. Onlly issue is response time to emails. Normally took about 24-48 hours

  Wedding - 06/05/2021

  Pastor Duckworths did a wonderful job officiating our union. We had a virtual conference with him about 3 weeks prior to the ceremony and he made me feel at ease. When he arrived he met with everyone and made sure everyone knew their place. I would definitely recommend him to anyone getting married in the DMV area.

  Dannie was a god-send for my fiancé and I during the wedding planning process. I contacted him initially at the recommendation of our wedding planner and he was happy to be our officiant. A day before I sent in contract, we changed our minds and decided to use a pastor with family connections; however, that fell through a month later. In a panic, I contact Dannie in the hopes that he still had an opening on our wedding day/time. He did! Plus, he didn't give us any grief about changing our minds previously. He was open to whatever we wanted or did not want to include the ceremony, he sent an outline of the ceremony so I could look it over since we live outside of VA. He was professional and prompt for the rehearsal and ceremony, was personable with the groomsmen. He was extremely flexible when it rained - not only during the rehearsal but also on the day of the wedding causing us to move both events. He made this piece of planning so easy!

  Rev. Ducksworth was very professional and on time. He tailored our vows to fit us as a couple and made our ceremony one to remember. Easier to contact him via phone, he was having trouble with his email.

  Pastor Ducksworth was a good choice as officiant. He really tried to make our ceremony special. We met with him several times and was pleased with his timely arrival. He conducted the rehearsal and made sure that everything ran smooth. He did get my name wrong a few times during the ceremony, but it was easy to laugh at. I would recommend his services.

  I was EXTREMELY disappointed. That's the only why I can sum up my interaction with Dr. Ducksworth. I was so excited to initially contact him based off the the positive and complimentary reviews I read about him. Even our first phone conversation went well and I felt very comfortable and at ease with him. After our first phone call he stated he would be available to officiate our ceremony in November and for me to text him my contact information so that he could send me contractual documents and for us to set up a time for him to meet with my fiance and I. Right after we ended the call I texted him my information. Almost a week had past and I had not received any phone call or text messages from him so I decided to call him to follow up. I called and left a voicemail and he in turn texted me back saying that I had "reminded" him to catch back up with me but to let him know when during the following week he could meet with me and my fiance. So I texted him our availability to which he NEVER responded back. Over the next week or so I called and left about two other voicemails but again NEVER heard back again. It was disheartening to feel disregarded about our special day with not even so much as a phone call to explain his lack of communication or perhaps if something had come up and he was no longer able to officiate. I sincerely hope he is in good health and that nothing happened but I would NOT recommend for anyone to utilize his services.
