Ian is wonderful!
Ian is wonderful. He took photos throughout our wedding weekend and we could not be happier. Leading up to the wedding, he was very responsive and professional, and very patient as we sorted out all of the details for our events. When we spoke with him, it was clear that he was extremely thoughtful about how to capture the best shots in a variety of settings. That was even more evident when we arrived at our wedding weekend.
Finally meeting in person, Ian is warm, patient (so patient and calm when we were moving everyone between venues!), friendly, and put everyone at ease. He was terrific with the kids of all ages too! He made us feel so comfortable and struck a great balance between giving gentle direction to improve a shot and stepping back to let everyone celebrate naturally.
We are so thrilled with our photos, he is so talented at finding and capturing little moments, and all the joy and emotions. Incredible photographer, best experience!
Ian was very responsive, professional, and super friendly. Booking process was very easy and he walked us through some locations based on the time of day and season (our shoot was in the winter time, and we got the best light!). He made us feel comfortable and was great at maximizing our time together. His photos came out wonderful and we had such a great time going through the city with him. I highly recommend him for any couple! Thank you so much Ian for your hard work and creative eye. Ian is an incredible wedding photographer. He fit into our day as though he were family, and took the most beautiful shots. You would be doing yourselves a disservice to not hire him for your wedding! His ability to find the most perfect locations and times for photos was unbelievable, and I was blown away by how easily he made us feel comfortable and relaxed in the moment (something that's hard to do with 2 camera-shy people!). A true professional, Ian blended into the background and stood out at the moments that mattered. So many people came up to us afterwards and remarked at how good he was - in fact my husband and I spent a good part of the day saying "he's so great" to one another! THANK YOU Ian for capturing our day. We couldn't have asked for a better experience with a photographer.Ian is an incredible wedding photographer. After recently becoming engaged, I began looking into taking engagement photos on an upcoming trip to Paris. I was referred to Ian and I am so glad I was! He was very pleasant, punctual and took amazing photos!! Definitely the best decision! He was great and so easy to work with!! If you are at all considering getting photos taken I highly encourage you go ahead and do it! We recently booked Ian to shoot engagement photos while we spent some time in Paris. Initially, we looked into him due to a Google search that stated he was an English speaking photographer; helpful for the two of us since we have very rusty French. Upon viewing the images on his website, we fell in love with his clean, crisp work. He has a beautiful way of highlighting the couple while also displaying some of the most beautiful nooks and crannies of Paris, as well as the more well known monuments. We contacted him via email and he was always extremely prompt and thorough with his replies. When we booked he sent us a plethora of information about the shoot and that helped us feel so prepared and let us know what to expect on the day of the shoot.

Ian was extremely responsive via email which was important to us when planning a destination wedding. He had great ideas and was such a pleasure to shoot with. We instantly felt comfortable with him. He was not overly intrusive during shooting and allowed us to be natural. We got the photographs back within the week and they look AMAZING. His service was also at a very competitive rate. Even after the shoot, he continued to be in contact and was more than happy to submit our wedding to various blogs.Ian was extremely responsive via email which was important to us when planning a destination wedding. Ian has that certain "eye" for shots that you only find if you truly analyze portfolio after portfolio. Not only are the photos beautiful, but he is also professional, friendly, and you can tell that he loves what he does.
He shot our engagement photos in Paris and although we were nervous at first, we found the whole experience to be surprisingly fun and easy. He is great at direction (so you don't end up with a double chin!), working with natural light, and post production turns out a great result.
One of his key skills is an innate ability to pick just the right moment to snap the shot. He captures the moment of his subjects and does so while there are no other people in the frame. Everyone who has seen our engagement photos has the same question.... "how did you get the Eiffel tower all to yourselves?!" :)
We heard and saw the results of many low budget travel photographers..."5 hours for only a couple hundred Euros"?? With photographers, you get what you pay for. Don't make a mistake with low budget photographers when you're on a once in a lifetime trip to Paris! Great photographer!
Ian photographed our wedding and took beautiful pictures! He was flexible with changing plans with weather issues and put us at ease throughout the day with his kind personality.
